Tim Boxer/Getty Images NYPD Investigating Harvey Weinstein’s Victim Payouts As you may recall, Harvey was already under investigation by the NYPD for the rape of actress Paz De La Huerta . However, with the case being 10 years old, the D.A. ran into too many difficulties and now feel it may be impossible to prosecute . But, there may be a loophole to get some formal charges in on Harvey . Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the NY District Attorney D.A. is investigating DOZENS of payments Weinstein doled out to keep his victims quiet and his multiple sexual misconduct cases out of court. They’re looking to decipher the source of the money paid out. According to the D.A., if any of the cash was secretly siphoned from The Weinstein Company, rather than Harvey’s own personal accounts…he stands to be charged with embezzlement. Harvey’s lawyer says all Harvey’s accounts and payments are on the up and up, and once they’re done with their lil investigation they’ll see there’s not even anything there to prosecute. SMH. What the hell ?!?! Woman Who Assaulted Girls Claims To Have Gay Man Inside Of Her A Buford woman is facing two counts of sexual assault against a child after allegedly climbing into bed with two young girls and simulating an act of sexual intercourse. Via Buford Patch reports: Gwinnett County Police were called to a Buford home on April 21 after the mother of the two girls learned of the incident. According to the police report, the woman, identified as Jessica Head, 25, had been to a nightclub with the adult brother of the two girls. The brother said both he and Head had consumed alcohol and returned home around 3:30 a.m. The brother said he went to bed and left Head sleeping on the sofa. The siblings, the report explained, “all slept in the same bed.” At some point during the night, one of the girls, described in the police report as a “very articulate and intelligent” 10-year-old, awoke to find Head on top of her. According to the child, “Head removed the blanket that was covering her, climbed on top of her (making it difficult for her to leave) and then began a back and forth motion on top of her.” The girl, according to the police, said she thought Head was “trying to have sex with her” given the movement. The girl added that Head reached her hand down and grabbed her outer thigh. She told police she was able to free herself after attempts to wake her brother and sister were futile. Head then reportedly moved on top of the girl’s 12-year-old sister and “began the same motion consistent with sexual intercourse.” “About that time … the girls’ brother woke up. He said when he awoke, he saw Head on top of [the sister]. He said that words were exchanged briefly and he instructed Head to get off his sister,” the officer wrote in the report. “She ultimately did and went into the living room.” Later, during a conversation with the investigating officer, the brother “expressed that he thought it was possible Head thought she was interacting with him.” The mother, who had heard one of the girls scream, reportedly entered the room as Head was getting up from the bed. The mother took the girls into her room and, after realizing what had transpired, called police. In the report, the officer described Head as “uncooperative and belligerent” throughout most of the encounter. When asked what had happened, Head reportedly replied, “I didn’t rape no kids!” “I thought the response was odd considering I asked a very general question and had not informed her of any of the statements from the victims,” the officer wrote. Head explained she had gone to sleep on the couch and had done nothing else. According to the report, she later admitted having been in the room with the girls, but was just trying to sleep. At one point during the conversation with the officer, Head reportedly said “I’m a d*ke” and then, according to the report, added “I am a gay man trapped in a woman’s body.” “Head never gave a coherent statement during my encounter with her,” the officer noted. The officer further wrote, “I believed the actions alleged were committed by Head to the children in an attempt to arouse herself.” Based on the witness and victim statements, Head was placed under arrest. She was later booked into the jail on two counts of child molestation and, as of April 22, remained jailed. Bond is set at $11,400. This might go down as one of the dumbest excuse a criminal has EVER made. How does this even make sense? It just doesn’t!
After rejecting a plea deal that could have settled her grand theft case and given her a short stint behind bars, Lindsay Lohan is rolling the legal dice. The first step? A preliminary hearing to determine if there is sufficient evidence to order Lohan to stand trial. That is scheduled for Friday, April 22. It sounds to us like fireworks will fly in the courtroom that day. Team Lindsay is confident they’re gonna win , but the D.A. is not backing down … Los Angeles Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers is warning witnesses to expect “grueling cross examination by defense attorney Shawn Holley” at the hearing. Meyers originally planned on calling only the investigating officers to testify, but is now prepping to go all out April 22 because of a legal technicality. Lindsay, as we know, stands a good chance of being found in violation of her DUI probation regardless of what happens in the felony grand theft case. If the judge finds there is enough evidence to send Lohan to trial, that in itself will result in a probation violation, even if a jury were to later acquit her. Meyers wants to go all out to see that Lindsay is taken into custody for violating probation following the hearing, so she’s calling extra witnesses. Meyers has met with the jewelry store owner, Sofia Kaman, along with the female employee that helped LiLo with the necklace she allegedly stole. Much of the preparation is being spent on Sofia’s testimony, because of Kaman’s decision to sell the surveillance video of Lohan’s alleged theft. Meyers believes Sofia will be an excellent witness for the prosecution, despite that move. She has yet to see one dime from the sale of the tape. Just the same, Meyers expects Holley to grill Kaman about her motives and to try to raise doubts about Sofia’s credibility, inside sources report. The preliminary hearing is expected to last 2-3 days, and at the conclusion, Judge Stephanie Sautner will determine if there is enough evidence. If she does, Meyers will ask that Lindsay be jailed immediately for the probation violation, pending trial. But Sautner could allow her to post bail. Basically, it should be very interesting as there are so many scenarios that could play out in what is a surprisingly complex courtroom drama. What do you think? Is Lindsay a thief?
