Plus, O Music dancers break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Team Dance Marathon. By Kara Warner Robyn performs at the O Music Awards on Monday Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Much like the colorful, frenetic, costumed masses that take over West Hollywood, California, on Halloween, MTV’s second annual O Music Awards were so full of creativity, cutting-edge artistry and just plain crazy spirit, it was a perfect fit to be broadcast live from the largest street party in the world. Thanks to killer live performances by Mac Miller , the Band Perry (live from Phoenix), the Alabama Shakes (live from Austin), traffic-stopping headliner Robyn , and extra-special appearances by Kelly Clarkson , Tyler, the Creator, Demi Lovato, Travie McCoy, John Cho and Kal Penn, the action-packed show completely delivered on its “Offbeat, outrageous, online” tagline and then some. Not only that, but the O Music Award dance marathon officially broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Team Dance Marathon. Oh yeah, and we handed out some really cool awards to very deserving and grateful artists, several of whom proved to be upsets in their respective categories (for example, the Aliens bested the Beliebers, Taylor Nation and

Rick Ross Suffers Second Seizure on Board Second Jet

Rick Ross has suffered his second seizure of the day, sources confirm. The rapper originally blacked out en route to a concert in Memphis, as the plane he was on made an emergency landing and medics rushed to the scene. But Ross soon awoke, claimed he was 100% and boarded a second, private jet in order to fulfill his performance date at the FedEx Forum. TMZ reports that Ross’ second plane – which took off from Fort Lauderdale around 5 p.m. EST – was diverted to Birmingham, Alabama at 5:44 CDT due to another attack. The artist was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition. Needless to say, Ross will not be performing tonight after all. Let’s hope he gets some needed rest. [Photo: WENN.com]

Lil Jon Gets Rowdy In Yelawolf’s ‘Hard White’ Video

First clip from Yela’s upcoming Radioactive debut features a debauched crowd in a gritty bar. By Rob Markman Yelawolf Photo: Getty Images Bar fights, bikini wrestling and a Lil Jon guest spot — what’s not to love about Yelawolf ‘s “Hard White” video? On Tuesday (September 20) Catfish Billy debuted the first visual to his debut album, Radioactive, which is set to hit stores on October 25. The Motion Family-directed clip starts with a pan from an outside parking lot, revealing bikers, truckers and various riffraff who file into the gritty bar where the MC is set to perform. Lil Jon is the hype man, but Yela is clearly the life of the party as he raps and pops champagne bottles in a tie-dyed hoodie. “You ain’t gotta lay down on your back to know you’re already f—ed up/ Lettin’ me in the motherf—in’ club is like lettin’ me drunk drive in your truck,” the Shady signee spits to set things off as partygoers keep their hands in the air. The crowd is a mixed bunch — black, white, tatted up and gangsta — who seem to enjoy debauchery. Women are passed out drunk in the bathroom, while Wolf slides his buddy across the bar top like a human bowling ball, striking all the staged beer bottles in the process. The Gadsen, Alabama, lyricist isn’t the only entertainment in the staged nightclub, however. In the middle of the venue a kiddie pool, filled with some type of lubricant, houses two scantily clad eye candies who wrestle and smack each other on the backside in slow motion as the rowdy crowd cheers them on. The song’s hook (“Up in the club, don’t give a f—“) is a lyrical reflection of what fans see. Visually, “Hard White” is dark, mixing hip-hop and punk elements seamlessly as Yela proves he is a musical force to be reckoned with even before his boast at the end of the clip. “I ain’t in the building, I own the building, bitch,” he exclaimed. And who are we to argue? Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ With Yelawolf Related Artists YelaWolf Lil Jon

When The Checks Stop Coming In: Former Olympic Record Holding Pitcher Popped For Cooking Up That Trailer Park Crack Next To A School

We tried to tell you this recession is for real . A former U.S. Olympic baseball star and his wife were charged with cooking methamphetamine inside a home they shared with their three children, just a few hundred yards away from Loxley Elementary School, police said. Billy Lyle “BJ” Wallace Jr., 40, and Amber Sheree McKenzie, 29, were being held in Baldwin County Corrections Center as of Wednesday, both charged with first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wallace, a Monroeville native, pitched for the U.S. team in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and the Montreal Expos picked him third in that year’s amateur draft, signing the left-hander for $550,000, according to baseball-reference.com and Press-Register archives. He set an Olympic record for strikeouts in a game by fanning 14 in a win over Italy, but he never reached the major leagues. After a three-month investigation that included both surveillance and informants, Loxley police served a search warrant on Wallace’s home at 3999 S. Magnolia St. at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found four “shake and bake” meth labs inside, along with two ounces of “finished product,” according to Loxley police Lt. Doug Phillips. Their three children, ages 2, 8 and 12, were turned over to their grandparents, Phillips said. Though they do not share a last name, Wallace and McKenzie were married in February, according to Baldwin County Probate Office records. Phillips declined to say whether the children were present when officers made the arrests. Because of the length of the investigation, authorities had become concerned for the safety of the children, Phillips said. He described the “shake and bake” lab as a 20-ounce or two-liter plastic bottle with meth ingredients inside. “It can turn into an incredible explosive,” Phillips said. “Even if it didn’t explode, if one of the kids drank it, thinking it was a soda bottle, who knows what could happen?” SMDH. Big K.R.I.T. Explains Live From The Underground Album Title

‘The type of music that I make … is definitely underground and Southern hip-hop,’ K.R.I.T. tells RapFix Live. By Alvin Blanco, with reporting by Sway Calloway Big Krit Photo: MTV News Big K.R.I.T. was already buzzing heavy before he signed his record deal with Def Jam, and on September 27 he will release his major label debut, Live From the Underground. The Mississippi rapper checked in to MTV’s RapFix Live from the studio, where he is putting the finishing touches on his album, via Skype. K.R.I.T., one of MTV Jams’ Fab 5 , became an underground rap favorite when he released the free mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here , which played more like an album, in 2009. The project’s soulful rap aesthetic and acclaim earned him a record deal, but the “Country Sh–” rapper is still holding on to his indie roots. “Man, ’cause I’m still underground at heart,” K.R.I.T. told MTV News when asked about his debut’s title. “At the end of the day, the type of music that I make, the type of sound I’m trying to create, is definitely being underground and Southern hip-hop. A lot of people didn’t know I was signed to Def Jam when I dropped ‘Return of 4Eva.’ I signed to Def Jam June of last year. So it’s been a process of working, grinding, proving myself, and just kind of showing people I’m not going to change just because I’m signed to a major.” “Return of 4Eva” was available for free download, and then Def Jam also dropped an EP of the project for sale on iTunes. Late last year, K.R.I.T. hit the road with Curren$y and Smoke DZA on the Smoker’s Club Tour (another tour is planned for this fall, with Method Man headlining). Come September 27, another fellow hip-hop up-and-comer, Roc Nation’s J. Cole , is also dropping his proper debut, but K.R.I.T. sees it only as friendly competition. “End of the day man, I feel like we all got our fanbase and we all just try to make quality music for the sake of hip-hop,” K.R.I.T. said. “And we all friends and cool man, so it’s just about knowing that your partner is going to put his all into his music and that you should do the same. And at the end of the day, we all meet up, and we’re going to do these shows and we’re going to tour and we’re going to have fun.” K.R.I.T., who appeared on XXL magazine’s Freshmen cover with fellow RapFix guest Mac Miller, continued, “It’s really all good man. I’m my worst critic so the music is not going to come out unless I feel 100 percent strongly about the content and the subject matter. I’m just going to do my best, brother.” Part of K.R.I.T.’s best includes handling all the production duties on his album and making sure to include social commentary in his lyrics. The 24-year-old plans to tackle topics like the murder of James Craig Anderson , the flooding of the Mississippi River and the tornadoes that hit Tuscaloosa, Alabama. “I’m really going to try to touch on all those topics ’cause I feel like sometimes just because we’re in Alabama or we’re in Mississippi, things happen and people expect it to be cool and OK, they’ll get over it,” K.R.I.T. said. “But we need help just like everybody else.” Related Videos ‘RapFix Live’ With Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T., Future Related Artists Big K.R.I.T.
