In a Twitter conversation with his manager, Scooter Braun, the pair revealed more info about the album, even sharing that it won’t contain the holiday standards fans might expect. “This Christmas album is amazing. Might be the best album yet,” Scooter Braun wrote on the social networking site. “All originals … soon 2 b classics. every1 i play it 4 is blown away. #excited.” The 17-year-old superstar then shared, “@scooterbraun yeah we are going hard for Christmas!! #mistletoe.” He later revealed that he had been recording tracks with some of his pals. “Had a great studio session with my big bro @seankingston and the talented @jonathanrotem #GOODMUSIC.” Producer Kuk Harrell (Rihanna, Katy Perry) has also been tweeting about hitting the studio with the singer and revealed another collaboration. “Wow!! I’ve been producing on my laptop and on my computer,” he said. “I’ve been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge.” He added, “I’ve done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it’s gonna have that vibe,” he explained. “I’m not gonna really limit myself. The pair’s family, fellow celebrities, socialites and reality stars, including Lance Bass, Paul Shaffer, Tinsley Mortimer, and “Real Housewives of New York” stars Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, and Simon Van Kempen, were all in attendance, and Colin Cowie hosted the event. “Welcome to New York!!!! @ KrisHumphries @ ScottDisick @ KourtneyKardash @ JonathanCheban @ scottsartiano @ CarlaDiBello @ lala! The three ladies teamed up to help launch Five , a series of short films about women and breast cancer that will be stitched together in a two-hour block on Lifetime in October. Each of the cover girls directed a film. Alicia directed Lili , a film about a fiercely independent 35-year-old whose breast cancer forces her to work through her relationship with her mother. How did you get involved with Five ? Kristin [Hahn] and Jen called me up; after I read the scripts, I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it. I chose Lili because she’s close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it. People very close to me in my family have had [breast cancer], and it’s scary and it’s hard. Which one of your songs would you sit and listen to on the radio: “Fallin’,” “Empire State of Mind,” “If I Ain’t Got You” or “Unbreakable”? I mean, I don’t want to sound crazy, but I’d listen to all of them all the way through. I love them. I love those songs! Your husband, Swizz Beatz, has said that your relationship is “a blessing.” Do you feel that way too? Yes. It’s beautiful because rarely, I think, do you find a relationship where you can experience things equally. In fact, I think that’s my favorite word and the most important word when it comes to relationships: equality. And that’s what we’ve been able to find. We encourage each other equally. We’re excited for each other. Do you remember the moment when you fell in love? I do remember the exact moment. If I told you, I would have to kill you, but it was something that he planned, and he planned it so beautifully and thoughtfully that in that moment I remember thinking to myself, Oh my God, I’m so in love with him.
