Liam Hemsworth made sure the odds were in his favor early Sunday morning. Upon exiting a Philadelphia bar, the fiancé of Miley Cyrus confronted a man he believed had thrown a rock at him and a friend. As captured on video by TMZ, Hemsworth and his pal proceeded to give this alleged assailant a major beatdown, with Liam punching him in the face and shoving his head toward the concrete. The police soon arrived and cleared the scene, with no arrests made. According to Philadelphia police, no charges have been filed yet, perhaps because the victim thinks he fought to a draw. “I don’t think [Liam] fared much better,” he told TMZ, despite clear evidence to the contrary. Witnesses at the scene say they did not see anyone throw a rock. Neither Hemsworth, meanwhile, nor anyone from his camp has commented on the incident.
Has there been a discovery of new evidence in the Caylee Anthony murder case? A news station in Orlando, Fla., says it has evidence “missed by prosecutors” that could prove Casey Anthony ’s guilt in the slaying of her two-year-old daughter. WKMG-TV reporter Tony Pipitone says, “We’ve uncovered an astounding failure by investigators that left prosecutors unaware of more than 98 percent of a crucial batch of evidence .” He won’t say what that is or how it would’ve impacted the case. The station’s news director, Steve Hyvonen, added that the alleged find “could have changed the jury’s mind – it’s evidence that points right at Casey.” Again, not a lot to go on as to what that possibly could be. Pipitone said the station let prosecutors know about evidence: “When we revealed it to them last week, they said they would have used some of it to try to prove Casey’s guilt.” The prosecutors would not comment but told Extra that “there is nothing new.” Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, said, “It’s old news that was written in my book.” So basically, this may be in the same ballpark as Glen Rogers ‘ O.J. claims. Casey was acquitted of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony. They only “broke up” to get their families off their case, says a source: “Taylor and Conor are pretending to everyone that they’ve split up, and so far they’ve done a really good job of convincing friends – and even the press – that it’s true.” “They hatched the scheme because the Kennedys were putting pressure on Conor to concentrate on high school and getting into a top college.” The Kennedys were also reportedly worried about Swift and Kennedy eloping , a rumor that spread like wildfire this summer after they first got together. She bought a house next to the Kennedy Cape Cod compound, as well. “Things have become so serious between them so fast that no one in Hyannis Port would be surprised if they eloped,” a source told the N.Y. Post . Now, an alleged insider dishes that they are still together while apart: “Taylor and Conor are still totally in communication. They just want everyone to forget about them. Meanwhile, they’re planning a secret romantic rendezvous.” Sexy! A more public rendezvous will likely happen next month, when Swift attends the RFK Gala on December 3, where she is supposed to be honored. Fake or not, the split was announced by People October 30. The celebrity news magazine claimed Taylor and Conor split up after a whirlwind summer romance. Swift’s schedule was supposedly the catalyst; Kennedy’s friends said she ended it. Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter Stephanie Bongiovi will not face criminal charges after her alleged heroin overdose at Hamilton College this week. The Oneida County (N.Y.) District Attorney’s Office says it is dismissing all criminal charges against the rock legend’s 19-year-old daughter. The 21-year-old male student involved with Stephanie Bongiovi’s overdose is also in the clear – legally, at least. Jon may have some words for him … Stephanie was arrested after being treated by emergency medical personnel following the alleged overdose in her dorm room on Wednesday. Police said afterward that a drug task force found small quantities of heroin in the Dunham Hall room, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Stephanie Bongiovi was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia. The 21-year-old guy also charged with drug possession. The D.A. says the charges were dropped, however, because of a New York State law that specifically prohibits prosecution of people experiencing a drug overdose. The people who help them seek medical care are also exempt from prosecution; the justification being that more lives will probably be saved this way. Po’ lil tink tink … Katt Williams Arrested For Battery Via TMZ reports : Comedian Katt Williams was arrested by police in Oakland last night … in connection with a fight at a club … TMZ has learned. Katt was arrested outside Kimball’s Carnival in East Oakland around 3 AM. The details surrounding the alleged battery are unclear. Sources tell us … Katt was brought to a police station for questioning. He has not yet been released. Williams is no stranger to the police — he was detained in L.A. back in October after allegedly pulling a gun on actor Faizon Love. He was released from custody without charges. Cops in Atlanta had also issued an arrest warrant for Katt back in 2010 over an alleged battery at a 4 Seasons Hotel. Multiple sources tell us … the alleged battery took place at a hotel near the club … and law enforcement is investigating allegations that Katt hit someone over the head with a bottle. That little man is causing nothing but big problems.

According to Entertainment Tonight reports : Actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have separated after more than 30 years of marriage, ET has learned. The couple’s rep Stan Rosenfield confirmed the news to ET. The pair, who married in January of 1982, have three children together — daughters Lucy, 29 and Grace, 27, and son Jacob, 24. The couple worked together on the classic sitcom Taxi (1978-1983) and appeared onscreen in the 1996 comedy film Matilda. The pair founded Jersey Films, a production company behind many movies including Pulp Fiction, Garden State, and Freedom Writers. This is pretty sad. Wiz Khalifa allegedly made like Lindsay Lohan last week. The hip hopper is accused of running into a woman on the set of his latest music video last Wednesday night, fleeing the scene in his car without stopping to see what actually went down. According to TMZ, the alleged victim was working on the shoot and departing the set when Wiz when whizzing by. Police are trying to get in touch with Khalifa for his version of events, but attempts to reach the artist have been unsuccessful. Let’s hope the musician isn’t guilty of such a heinous act, as Wiz will soon be a role model to a very important young person in his life: Girlfriend Amber Rose is pregnant !
