Taraji P. Henson and Tyrese are reuniting for another John Singleton film. The three first worked together a decade ago when the famous director put the two burgeoning talents in front of his camera to play couple Jody and Yvette in 2001′s “Baby Boy.” Tyrese made the announcement via Twitter, saying: “Official.. Me and my girl Taraji are doing another classic together soon.!! John Singleton will be directing us. And no it’s not BB2.” The two recently starred in Tyrese’s video for “Stay,” too. Of their collaboration, he said: “I love her [and] she loves me. She’s a beautiful person, very humble, funny as hell. Even though it’s been ten years [since ‘Baby Boy’] you can’t really put a timeline between magic. NBC made the announcement Monday (September 26), also revealing that Ben Stiller and musical guest Foster the People are booked for the October 8 show. Drake’s appearance will come just before the release of his sophomore effort, Take Care, which hits stores October 24 (also his birthday). It also marks the second time a Young Money artist has graced the late-night sketch show this year; Nicki Minaj served as musical guest back in February. News of Drizzy’s “SNL” gig comes just days after the rapper took to his October’s Very Own blog to unveil his Take Care LP artwork . In addition to the visual, Drake also wrote a short note to his fans, in which he admitted his anticipation about finally dropping the project. “Feels like it’s been so long,” he wrote, before asking a series of questions about awaiting special moments. “Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24 … I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Drake told MTV News early this month that the LP’s lead single, “Headlines,” was the perfect tune to launch the project. “I think it’s great; the purpose of that record was solely to deliver a message,” he said. “I could’ve gone with the record that was sort of super radio-friendly, but I really just wanted to talk to the people with the first record.” “Headlines” is just one of many tunes the OVOXO star has released to appease fans’ appetites. The filming of The Hunger Games is complete, according to Lionsgate. With the announcement that the first film in the much-anticipated franchise is now in the next phase of its production, a full-length trailer can’t be far behind. According to reports, the scenes shot in the Capitol for the opening ceremonies of The Hunger Games will be nothing short of epic. See what happens when you try to help people these days! A 42-year-old woman is under arrest after allegedly molesting a young boy she was supposed to be caring for till his Mother returned home. The family of the young boy thought they were helping Michelle Lester by giving her a place to stay and Tuesday afternoon the boy’s Mother asked Lester to look after her son when he got home from school. When the boy’s Mother returned home police say a friend told her that something may have happened to her child while she was away. She confronted Lester and we’re told Lester did make some admissions. Police tell Action News that the young victim’s Mother was so upset that she punched Lester. Investigators with Warren Police say Lester allegedly took off the boys pants and fondled him after he got home from school. Lester was arrested and has been charged with one count of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. She’s being held on a $10,000 bond. SMH. That broad deserved more than a punch to the face. Baby Bey-Bey could be big business… Remember, there’s nothing a baby-oriented business loves more than a famous mommy. Ever since Beyoncé made her announcement at the VMAs, you can safely bet that thousands of dollars worth of stuff has been arriving at Chez Z: baby clothes, baby bags, baby furniture, bottles, other gear. The goal: a paparazzi photo of Beyoncé using the stuff in public. It’s free advertising, the very best kind. By the time the kid is born, don’t be surprised if the dollar value of the freebies reaches the tens or even hundreds of thousands. That said, the biggest payday will, of course, come from the first baby photo, assuming that Beyoncé chooses to sell that photo at all. (Sarah Jessica Parker, for example, chose not to sell a photo of her first born and instead let paparazzi snap away during the baby’s first public appearance.) “Beyoncé has got a million-dollar baby on her hands,” estimates Mark Pasetsky, former editor of OK! magazine, and now the founder of the publicity firm Mark Allen & Co. “It will be at least a million. She’s is a very well-loved star, this is her first baby and she’s popular around the world.” Now if that figure sounds a little small, you’re right: Jennifer Lopez charged a reported $6 million for access to her newborn twins. And People magazine is said to have paid Brangelina $14 million for a first look at their twins. Even the first photo of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt garnered a reported $4 million. You can blame the economy, insiders tell me. Fewer magazines are publishing, particularly in the U.S., which means less competition, and lower bids, for baby photos. Still, $1million will buy Beyoncé a hell of a lot of Pampers. We’re not totally sure that King B and Hovi Hov would be down to cash in on their new bundle of joy as private as they are. Beyonce’s pregnancy helped Twitter break a record on Sunday when she made the announcement during the 2011 MTV VMAs! When Beyonce made her big reveal, rubbing her belly at the end of performing “Love On Top,” approximately 8,868 tweets were sent out per second. (This beat the previous record of 7,000+ tweets this past summer when Japan beat the U.S. Women’s soccer team.) Her announcement, along with Amy Winehouse’s tribute, Lady Gaga in drag, Kanye West & Jay-Z hitting the stage together, and Lil Wayne’s crazy pants, also made this award show the most-watched in history for MTV! The network reports that they had their biggest audience yet with a record-breaking 12.4 million total viewers. Congrats to all!
