The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony divorce came as a shock to almost everybody. After seven years of marriage, the couple announced their split last last week, leaving many to wonder what will happen with their joint business ventures. According to the Hollywood Reporter, their plans to launch and produce the Latin talent show, “Q’Viva: The Chosen,” are still on. The search for contestants will begin being filmed this fall and, once aired, will broadcast simultaneously across 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America. In April, it was announced that the couple would “embark on what’s being described as ‘an epic three month long journey to create the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance.’ Their travels will take them to remote areas of the Americas and filming will incorporate three languages.” J. Lo said of the show: “This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking.” This…is gonna be awkward. With little money to her name, several lawsuits pending and a vitriolic public still calling for justice, Casey Anthony may have been better off in jail . So where is Casey Anthony ? Completely MIA since her early Sunday release from the Florida jail where she resided for three years, that’s where. Her attorneys wisely won’t reveal her location or plans, but their calls to respect the verdict and leave Casey alone have largely gone unheeded. Casey Anthony Heckled Outside Jail The accused child killer could be in hiding in Carlsbad, Calif., near San Diego, according to a nwq report this morning on NBC’s Today show. Tracking the ownership of the Pilatus PC-12 private jet that whisked Anthony out of Orlando Sunday morning, NBC pointed to California attorney Todd Macaluso, who at one point had been a member of Casey’s defense team. Macaluso reportedly had given her $70,000. Macaluso’s firm maintains an office at the Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, with a private plane available to the firm anytime on very short notice. There are also reports that Macaluso left Anthony’s defense team early last year after running into trouble with the California Bar Association. The plane carrying Casey Anthony is believed to have taken a circuitous route before landing at John Wayne Airport, in Orange County, Calif. The Phoenix Fox TV station KSAZ reports that one of the stops could have been Prescott, Ariz., which is also a possible destination or Casey. NBC also says the IRS has placed a tax lien against Anthony, and that one of her moneymaking plans might be a pay-per-view TV interview. Anthony was ridiculed by hecklers as she walked free this weekend. We can only imagine the uproar if she charges foir a television sit-down.

Dayum! J.Lo is definitely not winning in the personal column this week. Not even a full two days after she and Marc Anthony announced their divorce, that little shrimp of a man was already out in public being disrespectful. Making his first post-split appearance at a weekend concert in Coluombia, the salsa king made light of his personal life by teasing thousands of female admirers about his newly minted single status. So what’d he get off his chest that had fans in such a tizzy? “They say I’m a single man,” quipped Anthony, 42, before launching into one of his trademark romantic salsa hits. According to media reports, the audience at the Símon Bolívar Metropolitan Park in Bogotá greeted the Latin heartthrob’s comment with cheers. This, after Anthony—decked out in a black sportjacket and loose-fitting black button down open at the neck—kicked off his set with “Aguanile,” the song he and J.Lo sang on the American Idol finale last May. The “I Need to Know” singer however didn’t look too broken up. Anthony blew kisses at the crowd in return. Wow! Makes you wonder what brought these two to the point of no return, doesn’t it? We can officially rule out one theory though. According to TMZ , the Cuban actor/model accused of cozying up to J.Lo and showing her just how much better she could do in the looks department says he has nothing to do with Jennifer’s latest love fail. The guy at the center of the affair rumors is telenovela star William Levy — aka the Cuban Brad Pitt — who recently separated from his wife AFTER shooting the music video (see below) with Lopez. But Levy’s rep tells TMZ William and J.Lo are NOT an item … saying, “The only relationship there was or is, is a professional relationship. That’s all there’s ever been.” Whatever it was can’t be too bad though…

Just after midnight, wearing blue jeans and a bright pink top, and with hundreds of protesters heckling her, the 25-year-old walked out of the front door of the Orange County Booking and Release Center in Orlando, Fla. With her were attorney Jose Baez and two sheriff’s deputies: Casey Anthony Release With the cash from her supporters and a police escort into a gray SUV, Anthony drove her into the hot Florida night, her destination unknown. “She had a look of relief on her face,” said photographer Tony Zumbado. “There was a smile on her face. She looked glad to be out of there.” Most people were not decidedly unhappy she’s out of there. An angry crowd of more than 300 people had formed outside the jail. Police on horseback tried to maintain control of the vitriolic mob scene. “Casey, rot in hell!” one person screamed at Anthony. “You killed your daughter, Casey!” shouted another. That person is far from alone in that belief, but a jury concluded that based on the evidence presented, prosecutors couldn’t prove she did it. Casey was arrested, tried and acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee. The highly unpopular verdict shocked the public and has resulted in many death threats for Anthony and those close to her. Anthony’s future whereabouts and plans are unclear.

A judge is considering whether to unseal a video of Casey Anthony considered so inflammatory that it would have infringed upon her right to a fair trial. The jailhouse video shows Anthony reacting to news reports that a child’s body had been found in a swampy area near the family’s Florida property. The tape reportedly shows Casey doubled over and hyperventilating when Orange County jail officials reveal that a body was found near the home. Too inflammatory to be played for a jury? What the heck is on that tape? It’s not like the videos that were played (such as below) were flattering … Casey Anthony Jail Video At the time of the December 11, 2008 video, the body was not yet identified as the remains of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. The court took what is called an “unusual step” and sealed the video on June 17, 2009 claiming the public seeing it would violate Casey’s rights. The court “could not absolutely protect the defendant’s right to a fair trial” if the “inflammatory” tape got out, according to the order to seal it . Casey Anthony was found not guilty last week of charges of killing Caylee and is now scheduled to be released from jail this Sunday night. Regarding the video and whether it will be released now, Orlando television station WKMG-TV Local 6 filed the request to unseal the tape. WKMG-TV made the request July 6, arguing “that with the jury is sequestered, no prejudice to the defendant’s right to a fair trial could incur.” While other pieces of evidence could be seen as damaging, the court said “no other item … would carry a similar inflammatory impact.” If released, the tape could spark more outrage surrounding the verdict. Casey Anthony death threats have been common in recent days. In the past week, the jury , Anthony family and Judge Belvin Perry have received threats regarding the case in addition to Casey herself. Anthony’s highly-anticipated release from jail on Sunday has already prompted concerns for her safety and calls for extra protection.

Over the weekend, Lala and her hubby Carmelo Anthony celebrated their one year wedding anniversary. In celebration of their one year, the couple chatted with the folks at the NY Times where they discussed their own relationship as well as couple’s they look up to and aspire to be like such as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. It already seems as if the “first lady of the NBA” -as she’s often called- and her boo, Carmelo, are following in Will and Jada’s footsteps after creating a production company together which produced “Lala’s Full Court Wedding” as well as the Mike Tyson Documentary. Check out an excerpt from their interview with the NY Times below. When asked about Will and Jada: “I love Will Smith and Jada Pinkett! You see the love, and you can see the support, and they partner on things and produce together. But she has a life, and he has a life.” When asked about couples that inspire them: “Will and Jada have a tremendous relationships, Jay-Z and Beyonce have a tremendous relationship, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, they’re a couple we see that inspires us. But we want to be ourselves. We want people to say, ‘We want our relationship to be like Melo and LaLa.’” When asked about Lala wanting to be more than a ‘basketball wife’: “A lot of times with basketball players, their wives, and I’m not criticizing, but their life is just about the man, what time is he getting home, why hasn’t he called me? But I’m so much more than” that. I’m a mom, I’m an actress, I’m a producer. Like, out of all that, I don’t want to just be called a basketball wife. What I see in Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, is having your own, and I tell everyone that.” When asked about creating a business partnership: “I saw her wanting to go into movies and producing films and documentaries and reality shows, So I said instead of letting somebody else come on board and produce all this stuff, we have the capabilities and the relationships, we can create our own production company and bring everything through that.” I absolutely LOVE Lala and Carmelo’s relationship and I definitely don’t think it will take long for younger couples to aspire to want to have a relationship just like them!
