The Donald Trump supporter who installed the sign by the side of the road in Flushing Township threatened to file trespassing charges against T.J. Tarrant and Chase Frechette. Yet a Facebook video filmed by Frechette of Tarrant using his circular saw to slice the spray-painted sign in half had drawn over 76,000 views by Tuesday afternoon. “You know what I think about this piece of s–t motherf—–g sign right here?” Tarrant said in the video. “Watch this. Was The South Carolina Murder Of A 9-Year-Old And Her Grandmother Racially Motivated The same state that brought us Dylann Roof is also home to allegedly murderous married couple Cephas and Kathrine Cowick, who have been arrested for the double homicide of a 9-year-old black girl and her 52 year old grandmother. According to WBTW reports : Cephas Cowick, 23, and Kathrine Baucom Cowick, 25, have been charged with murder and are in police custody. Sheriff Byrd confirmed that the two suspects were husband and wife. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee found two people dead after responding to a call Sunday morning. Sheriff Wayne Byrd says the call came in around 11:54 Sunday morning for two dead people at a home off Highway 151 near the Darlington Dragway. One of the victims is a nine-year-old and the other is the child’s grandmother. Hardee identified the victims Monday morning as Deziyah Davis, 9, and her grandmother Denise Couplin, 52 of Darlington. Coroner Hardee has ruled the incident a double homicide. This is so sad. We haven’t seen anything mentioned about this incident being racially motivated but we can’t help but to wonder if it was. There have been several updates to this story since the Cowick’s arrest. Third degree arson, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, first degree burglary, grand larceny less than $10,000 and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. It turns out they allegedly robbed Couplin’s home during the incident. Both suspects are being held at the Darlington County Detention Center without bond. Their court date has been set for Sept. 28. There were two other children home at the time of the murders who managed to escape to a neighbor’s home. Those kids have been taking into custody of the Department of Social Services while family members work to regain custody. A joint funeral was held for Davis and Couplin on Sunday July, 24 at 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hartsville, according to family members. Facebook/Darlington County Detention Center

Miami police said Karla Vasquez, 32, was found safe Thursday afternoon. Initially, detectives said it was unclear whether Vasquez was being held against her will by the man with whom she was found. ‘Grim Sleeper’ Serial Killer Sentenced To Death Another serial killer has had his day in court , and it looks like he’ll be paying for his crimes with his life. The “Grim Sleeper” terrorized a poor African American community in Los Angeles, targeting low-income Black women, often drug abusers, knowing that their deaths would garner less attention and less thorough investigation by law enforcement. Now, he is set to be sentenced to death . Via MailOnline : A serial killer known as the ‘Grim Sleeper’ should be sentenced to death for murdering nine women and a teenage girl over more than two decades in South Los Angeles, a jury decided on Monday. Lonnie Franklin Jr., 63, a former city trash collector and garage attendant for Los Angeles police, was convicted of 10 counts of first-degree murder last month for crimes dating back more than 30 years. Family members of the victims cried Monday as the verdicts on punishment were read. Some rocked back and forth. One said, ‘Thank you.’ A prosecutor had asked jurors to show Franklin the same compassion he showed his victims and give him the ‘ultimate penalty.’ An emotional defense lawyer asked jurors to sentence him to life without parole to hasten the healing process for the victims’ family members. The jury called for the death penalty on all 10 murder counts and the judge set formal sentencing for August 10. Franklin said, ‘Yes, your honor,’ in regards to the date but otherwise sat quietly and stared straight ahead the entire time. As he walked into court, family members of the victims whispered, ‘Dead man walking.’ Most of the slayings fit a similar pattern. Women were either fatally shot, choked — or both — and their partly clad or naked bodies were dumped in alleys and trash bins in the impoverished area where Franklin lived. Franklin got the name “the grim sleeper” due to a 14-year gap in his crime career, causing police to be unable to connect the dots that the crimes were all related for years on end. His victims were all Black women that lived close to him in his community — including one 14-year-old girl: Franklin has actually been linked to even more murders, however the DA chose not to charge him with the extra cases because doing so would have delayed his trial by an additional six years.
