The comic actor, 72, was dropped Thursday from his voice-over gig on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow spinoff, Market Warriors. “Given the unfortunate news reported today, effective immediately, Fred Willard no longer will be involved with the Market Warriors series,” Jeanne Hopkins, a rep for WGBH, the Boston public broadcaster that produces the show, said in a statement. The three people accused of killing a 22-year-old Marine wifewere engaged in a sadistic sexual lifestyle that may be linked to her death, according to court documents released Wednesday. Detectives believe two of the defendants, a Marine and his girlfriend, may have sexually accosted Brittany Dawn Killgore before killing her, according to one document. Four search warrants, ordered released by an appeals court over the objections of the district attorney’s office, provide an inside look at the unusual relationship involving Staff Sgt. Louis Perez, 45; Jessica Lopez, 25; and Dorothy Maraglino, 36, all charged with murder in connection with Killgore’s slaying. The three shared a house in Fallbrook in northern San Diego County where detectives believe Killgore may have been killed either April 13 or April 14. Her body was found days later near Lake Skinner in Riverside County. Perez, Lopez and Maraglino routinely engaged in sex play that included bondage, punishment, masks, whips, spanking, cutting, a “sex dungeon,” an unspecified “sex apparatus” and role-playing of slave, servant and master, according to one document. “Because of Perez and Maraglino’s unusual sex fetishes, I believe they may have accosted Killgore for these reasons,” one San Diego County Sheriff’s Department detective wrote in a sworn affidavit accompanying a search warrant. The search warrants include an assertion that an unidentified woman was once held hostage in the “sex dungeon” until she submitted. On April 13, Killgore agreed to accompany Perez to San Diego for a dinner cruise, according to the documents. Within 13 minutes of Perez picking her up at her residence, Killgore texted a friend: “Help.”Unable to get a response from Killgore, the friend texted back: “Brittany, Are U OK? I am freaking out here.” Perez sent back texts via Killgore’s phone indicating that nothing was amiss, according to the search warrants. Perez was the first of the three to be arrested. Detectives found a stun gun and gloves with blood that matched Killgore in his truck. Perez told detectives that he had taken Killgore to the Whiskey Girl Club in the Gaslamp District in San Diego but that the two had become separated, according to a detective. Investigators believe Perez and Killgore never left Fallbrook. Lopez was arrested at a San Diego motel where she had been drinking heavily and had attempted suicide. In a profanity-laced seven-page note addressed “PIGS READ THIS,” she claimed to have killed Killgore out of jealousy and dumped her body “in almost plain sight.” In the note, Lopez referred to Perez as “Master” and Maraglino as “Mistress.” Lopez was Perez’s former girlfriend; Maraglino was his current girlfriend, according to detectives. Killgore’s body showed signs of strangulation and attempts at dismemberment, as Lopez’s note suggested, according to one search warrant. The documents were released at the request of several news organizations. Perez, Lopez and Maraglino have pleaded not guilty. All remain in county jail on $3-million bail each. Bollinger cozied up behind her and gripped her microphone, a seemingly innocuous gesture that so angered a lawyer in attendance that he filed a charge against the pair — and an Indian court is set to hear the case. That lawyer, K. Jebakumar, claims the gesture — and subsequent hip-shaking dance the two shared — was “obscene and lascivious,” and “distracted students who were writing exams at the time.” Following the performance, Jebakumar filed a claim with the Madras High Court, stating that Perry and Bollinger committed offenses under India’s Indecent Representation of Woman Act. Very interesting question… Journalist Allison Samuels Asks “What If George Zimmerman Was Black Making his first television network appearance last night on Fox News, a perfectly coifed George Zimmerman apologized for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin—while in the same breath admitted he’d do nothing different if he had the chance. As Zimmerman, who appeared dazed during parts of the interview, discussed the events that led to the death of an unarmed high-school student simply walking home from the 7-Eleven, it was difficult to imagine a similar chain of events occurring if the tables were turned. Just prior to yesterday’s interview, Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara released a statement boldly admitting that part of the reason for the appearance on Fox was to raise money for his client’s defense. Zimmerman has already received a pretty staggering amount of donations since his arrest this past April. So much so that in June, his bail was revoked due to the fact he failed to report at least $150,000 in an online account donated from his many supporters. What if every criminal was allowed a prime time interview in order to raise money for his or her defense? Let’s take it further. Imagine for just a moment if Zimmerman were a black man (Zimmerman is the product of a white father and Hispanic mother). He shoots and kills an unarmed white teenager because said teenager “appeared” to be acting suspicious in his neighborhood community one night. Though the now dead teenager has only a cell phone, Skittles, and iced tea on him, the black man who pulled the trigger not only gets to go home that very night, but he remains free for another 44 days, reportedly because of a self-defense law called “stand your ground.” Only marches and public outcry by white leaders lead to his arrest, but he isn’t in jail long. Even after it’s revealed that he wasn’t truthful with the court about his finances and ability to flee the country, he’s freed once again and then given an extended Hollywood-style interview on a top-rated news program to tell his ever changing story. …Would anyone honestly give a 28-year-old black man the benefit of the doubt telling the same story when a Sanford police officer filed a report that night stating clearly that this tragedy was avoidable had Zimmerman just followed instructions and stayed in his car? Would Fox or any other major news channel dare give him 40 minutes to explain away the senseless death of someone’s child who’d done nothing but walk home from the store with a hoodie on while being black? What network would offer a black man a chance to “humanize” himself in an effort to raise more money for his defense for murdering someone whom he deemed “unfit” for his neighborhood but had committed no crime? And would thousands of strangers send money to support a black man who instead of showing real remorse to the parents of the teenager killed by saying he’d do anything to avoid their child dying at his hands, actually had the gall to say on TV that it was God’s will that the events of that night happened? As Trayvon Martin’s father Tracy said in a statement late last night, “We must worship a different God.’’ Imagine anyone being truly sympathetic to a black man who admitted he never once identified himself to the teenager as a member of the neighborhood watch, which may have given the teenager a very real reason to be afraid for his own life. It’s difficult to believe anyone would be so sympathetic if the tables were indeed turned, and the faces of the accused and the deceased were reversed. But sadly, George Zimmerman is and will continue to be a hero to far too many willing and ready to believe that an unarmed young black teenager minding his own business got exactly what he deserved when he was shot to death that February night. Phoenix Man Arrested For Holding Bible Study Begins Jail Sentence More ridiculous law enforcement tactics in Arizona… A Phoenix man who violated city zoning laws by hosting a Bible study in the privacy of his home has started serving a 60-day jail sentence for his crimes. Michael Salman was found guilty in the City of Phoenix Court of 67 code violations. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail along with three years of probation and a $12,180 fine. A spokesperson for the city attorney confirmed that Salman reported to a county jail Monday afternoon. Salman’s incarceration is the result of a long-running feud between the ordained pastor and the city of Phoenix over weekly Bible studies that Salman and his wife hosted in their home. City officials determined that the weekly gatherings constituted a church – and therefore violated a number of code regulations. The controversy erupted in 2009 when nearly a dozen police officers raided the Salman’s home and a 2,000 square foot building in their backyard. The family had moved their Bible study into the building after the group outgrew their living room. The charges that sent Salman to jail were a result of that raid – ranging from not posting exit lights above their doors – to not having handicap ramps or handicap parking. Salman told Fox News Radio the attacks on his family were nothing more than a crackdown on religious liberty. But city officials said it was a matter of zoning and proper permitting – not religious freedom. They said he was given a permit to convert a garage into a game room – not a church. Cheese turned bloody over the weekend when a jealous woman attacked her love rival with a pair of scissors and a brick, police said. Monroeville police said Lynaa Eva Dobbins, 20, went ballistic when she discovered that her ex, Garrett Lee Cogdell, 21, invited his new girlfriend to his child’s birthday party on Saturday night. Partygoers knew Dobbins was “coming to cause problems” and told manager Randi Kania to call the cops sometime around 7:30 p.m., police said. But before they arrived, Dobbins and two other women stormed the kid-friendly pizza joint and started a brawl with several women there, police said in a complaint. Cops said Dobbins stabbed Brea Carter in the ear with a pair of scissors and hit Karen Wynnbush in the head with a brick during the rampage. No children were hurt. Police arrived and found several women arguing outside the restaurant. Dobbins was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault, reckless endangerment and stalking. She was being held at Allegheny County Jail on a $100,000 cash bail. Two women with her were questioned by police but not arrested. Well we’re relieved to hear that no children were harmed in the midst of this ratchet isht, but we hope next time Lynaa wants to get mad Garrett is knocking down the next broad she knows better than to bring that isht to Chuck E. From The Local: A man who attempted to rape a woman has been cleared of the charges by a Swedish court after it turned out that the woman he tried to rape was actually a man. Prosecutors said the defendant was “brutally violent” in the “attempted rape”, tearing off the victim’s pants and grabbing at the victim’s crotch, according to The Local’s translation of Sweden’s Nerikes Allehanda newspaper. But because the victim had a penis, “The intended crime never had the possibility of being fulfilled,” Sjöstedt explained. The unnamed defendant was found guilty of assault. The ruling infuriated Hyper Vocal’s Cooper Fleishman: “More than anything, this case highlights the sheer absurdity of the double standard with which we treat male victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Changing the verdict solely because of the victim’s genitalia is like switching a grand theft auto charge to petty theft because the car happened to be blue when the thief thought it was green.” Queerty’s Benji Douglas added, “In essence, the judge ruled that it’s not possible to rape trans women.” This guy should have been punished to the fullest extent of the law.
