Parents Arrested After Son Finds Pot Plants A little boy in Pennsylvania called the cops on his mom and dad on May 9 after allegedly finding 18 marijuana plants growing in the basement, Phillyburbs.com reported. When police went to the home in Doylestown, the boy led them downstairs, where they reportedly found the plants, fans, grow lights, timers and electrical cords for growing the weed. Officers obtained a search warrant on Tuesday and then arrested Caren Shanfield, 45, and Joseph Medvedik, 49, on charges of child endangerment, manufacture and intended sale of controlled substances, and intent to use drug paraphernalia, according to NBC. Five juveniles, ages 10 to 17, lived in the house and knew about the marijuana operation, cops said. Medvedik and Shanfield were arraigned and held on bail of $100,000 each. Neither parent has a past criminal record. These folks must have REALLY pissed this kid off. Nevertheless, snitching on your parents?!?! Man Pees On Woman During An Argument They need some marriage counseling. Kenneth Timmer of Jupiter, Fla., is accused of urinating on a woman during an argument inside a mobile home on May 19. A sheriff’s deputy came to the residence to investigate “a disturbance,” according to an arrest affidavit sent to The Huffington Post. The deputy met 27-year-old Meghan Johns, who was wearing a white tank-top covered with a “smelly wet liquid,” the report says. Johns told the deputy that Timmer came into the bathroom before she could finish. They started arguing and that’s when Timmer started peeing, first in the toilet and then on Johns’ chest, causing her to run for the phone to call police. Timmer, who appeared intoxicated, pushed Johns against the wall while they both grabbed for the phone, according to the affidavit. The report says Timmer denied any wrongdoing, but his shorts were covered with urine, as was the floor around the bathroom. He was arrested and charged with simple battery. The urine-soaked spat was not a quarrel between lovers. Timmer was visiting Johns’ roommate when the alleged incident took place, according to the affidavit. Pregnant Woman Plays Dead After Being Kidnapped And Shot If the world doesn’t end in 2012… we are in for some deep problems. Because, people of the world today are crazy and doing anything to anybody: A 22-year-old pregnant woman and her unborn baby are alive expected to live after being kidnapped, set on fire and shot in Warren, Mich., police said. The woman, who is nine months pregnant, told police she was dropping her ex-boyfriend at his new girlfriend’s home early Saturday morning after seeing a drive-in movie. After they pulled into the garage and got out of the car, the garage door closed unexpectedly, she told police. “The next thing she knew she was grabbed by the throat and a gun was put to her head,” Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green told ABC News affiliate WXYZ-TV in Detroit. “She was ordered to the ground.” Duct tape was placed over her mouth and wrapped around her hands and feet, and she was blindfolded, before being put back into her car and driven to an alley in Detroit, Green said. “She didn’t know where she was at the time,” Warren police Sgt. Dave Geffert told the Detroit Free Press. The man who kidnapped her indicated that it was because of her pregnancy. “[The suspect] said ‘you know why this is happening’ and then he asked her about how far along she was,” Green said. The woman told police she felt liquid being poured on her, heard a match strike and then was set on fire. “She was able to get out of the car and start rolling on the ground, trying to put the fire out,” Green said. “And when that happened, two shots were fired and she was struck once in the back.” The woman played dead, and the man left, police said. “Right after the assailant had shot her, he fled the scene,” Geffert told the Free Press. “I’m saying ‘he’ because she reported a male voice, unknown description.” She freed herself from the duct tape and drove to her mother’s house in Detroit. Her mother took her to the hospital. Police took the woman’s ex-boyfriend into custody on Saturday and named him a person of interest in the case. He had not called 911 when she was kidnapped, police said. A possible motive is the boyfriend not wanting another baby, police said. Nice body, mean left hook… UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste was arrested for domestic violence battery Octagon vixen Arianny Celeste missed her duties at UFC 146 on Saturday night after her arrest earlier in the day on allegations of domestic violence, according to a published report. TMZ, citing the Clark County (Nevada) Detention Center website, reported that Celeste was taken into custody at 7:30 a.m. and held on $3,000 bond. The 26-year-old Celeste, whose real name is Arianny Lopez, no longer was listed on the detention center’s website on Saturday night — but a clerk at the jail confirmed to FOXSports.com that the curvaceous card-carrier had been detained there earlier in the day and no longer was in custody. No other details were immediately available. Yahoo Sports reported that while Celeste missed the prelims at UFC 146, she was spotted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena during the later fights. UFC president Dana White told Yahoo: “Arianny is our baby. She has been with us for over five years. She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for the UFC. I don’t know all the details of what happened, but we have her back and support her 100 percent.” Celeste has been a UFC Octagon girl since 2006, and posed for Playboy magazine in November 2010. The civil rights organization Southern Poverty Law Center filed a complaint alleging that the school system “sends a disproportionate number of black and disabled students to alternative schools to languish for months.” Now the group is targeting Jefferson Parish for employing a school psychologist who posted a disgusting racist azz Twitter rant: Traina, who believes George Zimmerman is “the real victim,” also calls himself a misguided “American Civil Rights Activist,” and responded to the situation at NOLA.com: This is just another way to harass the Jefferson Parish Public School System. One only needs to read the Times Picayune to see who the real trouble makers are. Sadly, it is disproportionately young black males. Everyone knows that our jails throughout the United States are disproportionately filled with black people. Why would the rate be any different in an educational environment? The U.S. Department of Education’s office of civil rights is sending a rep to the Jefferson Parish School system this week, and Traina dismissed racist accusations by saying, “Everything I said is fact-based, backed up by data. 2 Cufffffffffffs! 2 Chainz Arrested In New York For Having Brass Knuckles In His Bag According to TMZ reports : Kanye West’s rap prodigy 2 Chainz was arrested at LaGuardia Airport in New York today … after cops say he was packin’ brass knuckles in his carry-on bag … TMZ has learned. 2 Chainz — real name Tauheed Epps (who also goes by the name Tity Boi) — was entering the Delta terminal to fly to a show in North Carolina … when the TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag. Law enforcement tells TMZ … police were called to the scene … and 2 Chainz was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon at 1:45 local time. 2 Chainz — famous for his hit song “Spend It” — is still in police custody. For the love of money…SMH Nanette Packard Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder Conspiracy With Ex-NFL Player A Southern California woman was sentenced to life in prison Friday for helping her lover, former NFL linebacker Eric Naposki, murder her live-in millionaire boyfriend for financial gain nearly two decades ago. Nanette Ann Packard, 46, was convicted of murder earlier this year in the cold case slaying of William Francis McLaughlin, who made his fortune in medical technologies and was shot dead in his kitchen in December 1994. Packard was living with the much older McLaughlin when he was murdered, but the divorced mother of two was also dating Naposki, a former linebacker for the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts who worked as a bouncer at a nearby nightclub. Packard convinced Naposki to kill McLaughlin, gave him a key to the victim’s house and told him when he would be home, prosecutors said. She stood to collect $1 million on a life insurance policy and receive $150,000 and free rent for a year at one of his homes if McLaughlin died, authorities said. Packard ended up stealing at least $500,000 from McLaughlin’s estate both before and after his death, Matt Murphy, deputy district attorney, said during trial. As for her accomplice Eric Naposki… Naposki, 45, was convicted of first-degree murder last July. His sentencing has been postponed until Aug. 10.
