Lindsay Lohan Busted Again − Is She Beyond Help?

If Lindsay Lohan doesn’t go back to jail as a result of today’s news, I have an idea for a film project for her:  It’s a remake of Groundhog Day in which LiLo plays the Bill Murray role and wakes up every day to new criminal charges until she gets her act together.  Since Tina Fey is the last person to get a memorable performance out of Lohan, she should write and direct. Harold Ramis , who wrote and directed the original Groundhog Day , could have a cameo as the wise prison warden, and…Jesus, why am I even bothering? I used to actually believe that Lohan had it in her to carve out a great second act in her life and career by stopping the nightclubbing, cutting off her embarrassing parents and devoting herself to work. But after five trips to rehab,  the latest critical savaging she received for her performance in Liz & Dick and reports of her arrest Thursday morning and new criminal charges that are about to be filed against her,  I think it may finally be time to declare Lohan a lost cause. As you probably know, Lohan was busted around 4 a.m. on Thursday morning after she allegedly punched woman at a Manhattan nightclub.  Earlier that night, she’d caught Justin Bieber’s concert at Madison Square Garden, but apparently the good vibrations didn’t carry LiLo through the night. The NY Daily News reports that after exchanging words with 28-year-old Tiffany Eve Mitchell at the Chelsea nightclub Avenue,  Lohan slugged the alleged victim in the face. TMZ reported that Lohan, 26, was arrested  as she attempted to flee the scene in a friend’s car. “Are you kidding? Oh my God, are you kidding?” Lohan can be heard saying on the video of her arrest that the celebrity site posted.  (I’ve embedded it below.) Lohan was issued a desk appearance ticket for misdemeanor assault and faces a Jan. 11 court date, but that’s just the beginning of her troubles. As TMZ reports, “she’ll face a total of four new criminal charges on the same day on different coasts.” In addition to the above charge, law enforcement sources told the website that the Santa Monica City Attorney will also hit Lohan with three criminal charges stemming from her car accident there last June on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lohan’s Porsche slammed into the rear of an 18-wheeler and though she told police she was a passenger in the car, it turned out she had been driving. The charges: Giving false information to a peace officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty, and reckless driving. (Meanwhile, Lifetime reportedly may sue Lohan for breach of contract because this incident happened during the shooting of Liz & Dick and the cable network’s insurance policy on the actress forbid her from driving.) Lohan is still on probation for felony jewel theft and TMZ notes that when the actress is arraigned on these charges, probably next week, the judge will revoke her probation and set a hearing to “determine if she will go to jail for a long period of time.” I can already see a tearful Lohan pleading for leniency, but will the judge, or anybody, be moved?  At this point, it’s hard to feel any empathy — or even pity — for a 26-year-old actress who has squandered what should have been the most productive and exhilarating years of her career. Lohan could have been wowing us with her acting talent, but instead she chose to amuse and, ultimately, bore us with her bad behavior. Two Minnesota Teens Shot And Killed During Robbery…Homeowner’s Claiming Self-Defense

The shooter’s being charged with second-degree murder as he’s claiming self-defense; Minnesota law allows people to use deadly force when protecting their homes. According to The Daily Mail , family-members and friends are defending the two teens: Friends and family have expressed their outrage over the deaths of two popular students shot by a homeowner while they robbed his home – as he revealed he fired ‘more shots than he needed to’. The bodies of cousins Haile Kifer, 18, and Nicholas Brady Schaeffel, 17, were found in Byron Smith’s basement in Little Falls, Minnesota on Friday – the day after they were shot dead on Thanksgiving. When police arrived at his home after reports of suspicious activity, Smith, 64, confessed to shooting the teenagers repeatedly and stashing their bodies after they broke into his home, authorities said. On Monday, he was charged with second-degree murder and police revealed he told them he fired more shots than necessary after his gun jammed and Kifer laughed at him. While Minnesota law stipulates people are allowed to use deadly force when defending their homes, relatives, friends, police and prosecutors claimed Smith reacted too drastically by killing them. A person has every right to defend themselves and their homes, even employing deadly force if necessary,’ Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel said. ‘Circumstances of this case however, led deputies to believe that Smith went beyond that point.’ In a criminal complaint, Smith said he was in the basement of his home when he heard a window breaking and footsteps. Fearful of other recent break-ins, he shot Schaeffel when he came into view. When the teenager tumbled down the stars, Smith shot him in the face as he lay on the floor, looking up. He dragged the body into his workshop and then sat in the chair, the complaint said. When Kifer began walking down the stairs, he shot her and she fell down the stairs. He tried to shoot her again with his rifle, but the gun jammed and Kifer laughed at him, the complaint noted. ‘If you’re trying to shoot somebody and they laugh at you, you go again,’ Smith, 64, told investigators, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday. He then shot her several times in the chest with a .22-caliber revolver, dragged her next to her cousin, and with as she gasped for air, fired a shot under her chin ‘up into the cranium’. ‘Smith described it as “a good clean finishing shot”,’ according to the compliant, and acknowledged he had fired ‘more shots than (he) needed to’. Smith said he left the bodies in his home overnight before calling a neighbor to ask if he knew a good lawyer. He later asked the neighbor to contact police. ‘Mr. Smith intentionally killed two teenagers in his home in a matter that goes well beyond self-defense,’ Morrison County Attorney Brian Middendorf said at the hearing. ‘They were just really great people,’ friend Rachel Stauffer, 15, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. ‘They could make anyone laugh.’ Further insight into the lives of the cousins was given by Brady’s sister, Crystal Shaeffel, as she visited Smith’s home and spoke with his brother. ‘They were 17 and 18 years old, and didn’t need to die,’ she told Bruce Smith. ‘That all depends on your perspective,’ he responded, referring to a series of break-ins his brother had endured. In one in October, thieves stole $10,000 worth of guns and electronics, he said. But Shaeffel insisted that her brother had no need to turn to burglary, as he made good money working for their father’s tree-trimming business. She added that her cousin, who had undergone treatment for substance abuse, could have been after pills from the home. Yes, she had an addiction problem and stuff, but that doesn’t mean she deserves to get murdered at 18 years old,’ Shaeffel said. ‘I understand they came there to rob them, or whatever, but shoot them in the shoulder and call the cops.’ SMH…what do you think about the teens actions vs. Smith’s claim of self-defense? Kush Chronic-les: Wisconsin Feds Ask Hunters To Look Out For That Green Yahmean In The Woods!!

Piff Puffers out in Wisconsin just don’t give a fug cause they’re growing herb right in the middle of the state’s Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. This isht is getting so out of control that the U.S. Forest Service has asked hunters and fishermen to look out for mary jane while they’re out in the area. That sounds like a good plan. Make hunters with guns feel like they’re in a real-life version of Call of Duty . According to CNN : Since 2008, nine marijuana growing operations have been discovered on public land within the state. Most recently, in late August, a fisherman visiting the forest happened upon a marijuana field that netted more than 8,000 plants worth $8 million. “The fisherman was walking along the banks of the Oconto River and noticed these patches that had been cleared and disturbed. Trees were down, things didn’t look right, and he reported that to authorities, and a surveillance operation was established,” said Jane Cliff, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Forest Service eastern region. Approximately 150 federal, state, tribal and local law enforcement agents were involved in the sting that followed, leading to the arrest of seven people. All of the suspects pleaded guilty and are in prison awaiting trial. The suspects each face anywhere from 10 years to life in prison, a maximum fine of $10 million and five years to life of supervised release. But this isn’t the first time this has happened, the Forest Service says. It’s actually the third big bust in three years at the forest, resulting in the eradication of more than 80,000 marijuana plants that were cultivated by large drug trafficking organizations. That’s why authorities say they are reaching out to hunters in their regulation books and offering them training programs, warning them to be careful and asking them to note the GPS location of any suspicious areas and call the authorities as soon as they can. “Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is large, secluded and heavily roaded, so our personnel cannot by themselves keep an eye on every acre,” Cliff said. “That’s why we are relying on forest users to share information with us.” “We conduct aerial surveillance, and we have seen a change in the growers’ tactics. A number of years ago, there would be large multithousand plant fields concentrated in one area, and now they have a couple of hundred plants in one location and then another couple hundred plants a couple hundred yards away which makes aerial detection more difficult,” said David Spakowicz, the director of field operations for the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s criminal investigation division. Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said he and special agents at the Wisconsin Department of Justice are “not only aggressively investigating and eradicating these grows, but also working with our local and federal partners to hold accountable the individuals responsible for operating such grow operations.” “That kind of aggressive eradication and enforcement ought to send a message to those who think they can profit from growing illegal drugs on Wisconsin’s public lands, threatening our natural resources and potentially the people who enjoy them,” he said in a statement to CNN. The concern is that a person walking through the forest will come across not only an illegal grow operation, but also heavily armed growers. “If they are protecting $10 million of marijuana plants, that’s a lot of money, and there have been gun battles with law enforcement in other states such as California,” Spakowicz said. “We worry that they will bring the same level of violence with them.” Because the concern for public safety is so great, the state attorney general’s office works in conjunction with the Department of Justice to strongly prosecute marijuana growers. “We believe we need to arrest people in order to send a message to these marijuana growers that they are not welcome in Wisconsin and that their activities will be not be accepted,” Spakowicz said. Wisconsin is targeting illegal marijuana growers because it has millions of acres of remote public land. According to the state Department of Justice, 32 people have been arrested for illegally growing marijuana since 2008, and most were non-U.S. citizens in the country illegally. All of the suspects are expected to serve their sentences before they are deported, the department says. Several suspects interviewed by law enforcement said they were recruited from California to come to Wisconsin. In some cases they were told openly that they are to work in a marijuana growing operation, while in other cases they came believing they were to work in a restaurant. Some suspects also said they didn’t even know what state they were in. “They are large, drug trafficking organizations; they are not mom and pop operations,” she said. “These are people doing this to make a lot of money.” That’s some pretty bold and stupid isht right there. Joe Simpson pleaded no contest in his DUI case and will serve three years of probation, according to reports. He will also attend alcohol education classes. The embattled father of Ashlee and Jessica Simpson entered the plea to one misdemeanor count via his attorney Tuesday. A second count was dismissed. The 54-year-old, who has also been in the tabloids lately over his alleged trysts with Bryce Chandler Hill and Joey Anderson , was pulled over in August. He spent the night in jail after his arrest. A source said at the time that Simpson had had “a couple of glasses of wine at dinner with his wife” in Sherman Oaks (Calif.) and took a Breathalyzer voluntarily. Simpson, meanwhile, is in the midst of a divorce proceeding. His wife Tina Simpson , 52, filed for divorce in Texas last month, citing “discord or conflict of personalities” as the grounds for separation in court papers. Fawk An Invite: Ohio Woman Popped For Attempted Burglary After Cleaning House Univited And Leaving $75 Bill Behind

Ohio Woman Breaks Into House, Cleans And Leaves Bill Behind An Ohio woman who suddenly got the urge to clean someone else’s home uninvited was recently charged with attempted burglary. The woman broke into the home, cleaned it and then left a bill behind for the family. via ABC News A family in Westlake, Ohio, was not delighted when a “cleaning fairy” came into their home uninvited, did some chores and left a $75 bill behind on a napkin. The Chronicle-Telegram said that Susan Warren, 53, drove by the home last May 22 and “wanted something to do.” She entered the home in the early morning hours, washed coffee cups, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted, all while the homeowners’ 19-year old daughter slept upstairs, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. Last week, Warren pleaded guilty to one count of attempted burglary in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Her sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 26. Neither Warren nor her attorney could be reached for comment. “She left a note for the homeowner on a napkin, stating that she had cleaned the residence and left a bill for $75,” Maria Russo, a spokeswoman for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, said in a statement. Warren, of Elyria, Ohio, left her name, address and phone number on the napkin. Nothing was stolen from the house, the Prosecutor’s Office said. Brutality: Texas Woman Is Suing The Police Dept. For Rupturing Her Breast Implant During Rough Arrest!

Must have been pretty brutal to pop one of those hard a$$ tiddays… Texas Woman Sues Police Over Ruptured Breast Implant During Arrest Via NBCDFW A North Texas woman who says a Pantego police officer caused her breast implants to rupture during an arrest is suing the town. Rebecca Van Hooser said the officer threw her against her car when he arrested her during a traffic stop on Bowen Road. The Pantego officer pulled her over on a headlight violation and arrested her after learning she had a warrant for an unpaid speeding ticket. “She gets out of the car, [the officer] grabs her, throws her against the car, spreads her legs — kicks — spreads her legs and grabs her arms and forcefully pulls them out and yanks them very hard behind her back,” said her attorney, Susan Hutchison. Hutchison said throwing Van Hooser against the car caused her breast implant to burst. “She’s screaming in pain, and his response is, ‘This isn’t supposed to be comfortable,’” Hutchison said. Apparently, the rupture has led to many other problems for Van Hooser. Her attorney said the rupture has led to health problems. “She’s had a number of surgeries,” Hutchison said. “She had two hematomas as a result, and she’s going to have to have a partial mastectomy, tissue transplant and a new implant.” Hutchison said the lawsuit is not just about her client’s medical problems. “We respect police officers,” she said. “We’re glad they’re out there protecting us. When you arm someone with a gun and a badge and the authority that they have over people, you’ve got to train them appropriately, and they have got to be able to react reasonably and responsibly.”

Britney Spears-Sam Lutfi Case: Justin Timberlake Breakup Blamed For Downward Spiral

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel married Friday in Italy, and have been together for so long that his serious relationship with Britney Spears has been all but forgotten. It’s been revisited in unlikely fashion, thanks to Sam Lutfi’s lawsuit against Britney. Lutfi says Britney overdosed on drugs , which he tried to stop, and that she owes him money for past managerial duties, along with damages for defaming him since. Her attorneys tell a drastically different story. Britney’s breakup with Justin a decade ago left her depressed and angry, the beginning of a downward spiral that lasted for years, an attorney for the Spears family said. In the defamation and breach-of-contract case brought against Britney and her parents by her Sam Lutfi , Leon Gladstone sought to portray Spears’ dad as her savior. Britney’s relationship with onetime fellow Mouseketeer Timberlake ” ended painfully ,” he said, after which her parents, Jamie and Lynne, noticed a change in her. “This is a story of a close family, but not a perfect one,” Gladstone said. “It’s a story of a man who actually wanted nothing more for his daughter than to live and be well.” “It’s a story of a father who has had to step up and take action that he never thought he would have to take… actions that didn’t perhaps endear his daughter to him.” Jamie Spears ultimately had to “force his daughter into rehab,” Spears’ counsel said. “He had to take her kids away. He had to get her into a conservatorship.” Britney underwent treatment at Promises in Malibu in early 2007 and ex-husband Kevin Federline was awarded primary custody of their sons, Sean and Jayden, that fall. The conservatorship was established in February 2008 after Britney Spears had been briefly hospitalized twice for psychiatric issues at UCLA Medical Center. At the same time, Jamie took control of his daughter’s estate, he and ex-wife Lynne (they have since reconciled) got a three-year restraining order against Sam Lutfi. They have accused him of manipulating their daughter and marshaling the paparazzi’s surveillance of her during the months he became her near-constant companion. According to the attorney, Jamie told Britney in 2077, “You are going to kill yourself or one of your kids,” and that’s when he pushed her to go to rehab. Britney flew to Antigua for treatment, but flew right back. Then she checked into Promises, but left after a day, prompting K-Fed to get permanent full custody. “To Jamie, this was a life and death battle,” he said, “and Britney at this point was at her most vulnerable – and at the point that she is at her most vulnerable, she meets Mr. Lutfi.” The rest, as they say, is history we’d rather forget.

Stop The Violence–Another Officer Faces ZERO Charges After Shoooting Oakland Teen

Another grown azz Man thought his life was in danger and took a teens life. According to The Huffington Post : The Oakland police officer who shot and killed a black teenager earlier this year will not face charges in a case that has touched off a lightning storm of controversy between the city’s African American community and a troubled police force on the brink of a federal takeover. On Tuesday, the Alameda County District Attorney’s office released an 18-page report on the incident, stating that Officer Miguel Masso acted in self defense when he shot Alan Blueford three times in the torso after the 18-year old Skyline High School student pointed a gun at him. “Officer Masso actually and reasonably believed that his life was in danger after he had made eye contact with Mr. Blueford and that if he did not shoot, he would be killed,” Senior District Attorney Keneth Mifsud wrote. The report states that on May 6 of this year, Masso and his partner Officer Joe Fesmire were driving in their patrol car and saw Blueford walking with two others in Oakland’s Castlemont neighborhood, allegedly in the process of a drug deal, when the officers noticed that Blueford looked as if he might be concealing a gun in his waistband. Masso and Fesmire detained the trio but Blueford soon fled on foot. Masso gave chase for a number of blocks before the teen allegedly pulled an object that Masso identified as a handgun from his pants and pointed it at Masso. In front of a private residence where a birthday party was underway, Blueford tripped, fell to the ground and again pointed a gun at the officer. Masso fired four shots, three of which fatally struck Blueford and the other which hit his own foot. “I was scared,” said Masso, who claimed this was the first time anyone had ever pointed a gun at him. “It scared the living crap out of me.” Masso is currently on medical leave. A coroner’s report on Blueford found no gunpowder residue on his hands and no drugs or alcohol in his bloodstream. Police found a gun containing Blueford’s fingerprints on the ground near where he was shot that was stolen from the home of a police officer last year. The victim’s father, Adam Blueford, told the San Francisco Chronicle that he was disappointed at the district attorney’s decision not to charge Masso. “We thought it might go this way,” he said. “My son didn’t commit any crime at all other than running. This is alarming.” The Blueford family has led a series of contentious protests in recent months. “Alan cannot speak, so I’m going to speak for Alan,” said his mother, Jeralynn Blueford, at a protest in front of an police substation last month. “[OPD’s] job is to protect and serve–I was not served and Alan was not protected. We are about standing for justice.” The Oakland PD REFUSED to publicly release a police report about the incident and we’re told there have been different reports on whether or not Blueford ever fired a gun. Folks in the community believe this is all part of a police coverup. Images via facebook
