Justin Bieber may be all about practical jokes these days – check out this clip from the season premiere of Punk’d – but at least two people in Texas don’t fight the singer very funny. Last month, Bieber sent out nine-tenths of a phone number, along with the message “Call me right now.” Naturally – despite the Tweet being taken down soon after it went live – many teenage girls followed this advice, simply guessing the identity of the final digit. Unfortunately for Bieber (and even more unfortunately for the countless fans hoping to hear his sweet, sexy voice), two residents in Texas – identified by TMZ as Dilcie and Kent – are now threatening legal action against the star because their phones won’t stop ringing. A lawyer for these plaintiffs says his clients demand compensation for the fact that they are receiving up to 1,000 phone calls per day. What does the attorney suggest? Concert ticks, an apology from Bieber or, of course, straight up cash. No word yet from Justin’s camp, excerpt perhaps a bit of laughter over just how absurd these charges would sound if ever brought to court.
Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend, who was on the phone with him before the unarmed teen was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, will testify before a grand jury. The grand jury will be impaneled April 10 to determine if Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain, should be charged with murder, according to reports. The Trayvon Martin case gained national attention after he was gunned down by Zimmerman, who felt he was acting suspiciously in his gated community. Martin was unarmed, and even though a 911 dispatcher told Zimmerman not to pursue Martin, he subsequently shot the teenager, claiming self defense. To the outrage of many, local law enforcement in Sanford, Fla., declared that there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with a crime in the February killing. Amid public outcry, the Florida State Attorney’s Office has since announced that a grand jury would ultimately decide if he should face criminal charges, however. The FBI and the U.S. Justice Department have also launched investigations. The 17-year-old Martin was on the phone with his girlfriend, whose name has not been released because she’s a minor, as Zimmerman began to follow him. Sanford Police never questioned Trayvon’s girlfriend, even though her parents contacted the cops to tell them she wanted to come in for a full interview. A grand jury will now give her that chance to tell her side of the story. “Trayvon’s girlfriend has been told that the (Fla.) State Attorney’s Office has prepared a subpoena for her to appear in front of the grand jury,” a police source said. Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee Jr. temporarily stepped down from his position Thursday, after he came under fire for not arresting Zimmerman in the case. Zimmerman called 911 46 times in 2011, according to records. Not a single one of those calls resulted in an arrest or further action being needed by police.
Looks like her dad can’t call her fat anymore … Via Necolebitchie : Over the past few days, Rihanna began leaking a few details about what the next single will be from the ‘Talk That Talk‘ era, but, more importantly, she revealed that she’s already working on a new video for said single. Later, she gave a sneak peek at one look from the shoot in a photo that showed her topless with her hair pulled into a high bun. Despite being topless, she looked somewhat innocent. As far as the single, she won’t be serving up any “Cake” with ex-boo Chris Brown. The Rihanna camp decided to produce visuals for another ‘Talk That Talk‘ favorite called “Where have You Been.” Not sure why she looks like one of those sad “for only $2 a day” kids but we’re kinda digging Rihanna’s “Coming To America” African bush-baby princess steez. Terrence Howard has been ordered to shell out $50,000 for his soon-to-be ex-wife’s expenses in the midst of their ongoing, increasingly ugly legal dispute . Howard’s camp had claimed that the Red Tails star is low on cash and Michelle Ghent Howard’s allegations of mistreatment were harming his reputation. Apparently the judge did not concur. According to Michelle Howard’s attorney, Karen Donahoe, he maintains a $76,000 / month lifestyle after making $2.6 million as an actor in the past year. Terrence’s attorney, Christian Markey, countered: “He hasn’t had a paycheck. No job offers. And he only has $20,000 in cash. She’s got more money.” The once-happy couple quietly tied the knot in January 2010, but Ghent filed for divorce a year later … and said Howard beat and threatened to kill her . She obtained a restraining order. Howard claims she’s a racist, jealous monster who claimed that she “never wanted to marry a n—-r in the first place.” An evidentiary hearing is scheduled for April 23. Until then, Howard owes $1,800 a month for her Range Rover, $20,000 for her attorney fees, $20,000 for accountant fees and $10,000 in spousal support.

Good news for Gabriel Aubry. Gabriel flew off the handle last month when the nanny questioned him about not taking Nahla to school one day. According to the battery report, the nanny picked Nahla up during the confrontation, and Gabriel allegedly shoved her out the door with Nahla still in her arms. But L.A. City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan tells TMZ … Gabriel will NOT be charged because of “insufficient evidence.” Gabriel isn’t completely off the hook — as TMZ previously reported, a Dependency Court judge placed an order stating Aubry can only watch Nahla while under the supervision of a monitor … per a recommendation by the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services. So Aubry can only see his child under the supervision of a monitor, while Berry has petitioned a court to allow her to move to France with Nahla and fiance Olivier Martinez. When will the drama end? Sorry to hear that Chris Brown will continue to remain under the watchful eye of a probation officer as he works to complete the terms of his sentence for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Chris wasn’t present, but his attorney asked that Brown’s term on supervised probation be ended because of his good behavior. Superior Court Judge George Lomeli agreed with prosecutors that despite his good behavior, he should continue to report to a probation officer in his home state of Virginia. Brown is in the midst of a remarkable comeback, with the singer set to perform at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night where he is nominated for three Grammys. Brown’s probation officer wrote in a report that the singer has been truthful with officers, passed all required drug tests and “has made great strides” while under probation supervision. He has completed half of the six months’ worth of roadside cleanup, graffiti removal and other manual labor that he was ordered to do after pleading guilty to attacking Rihanna. Brown was ordered to serve five years on probation. The judge scheduled another progress hearing for July 10.
Singer gets positive report from court, but ordered to remain on probation. By Gil Kaufman Chris Brown Photo: Getty Images In a status hearing on Thursday in Los Angeles, a judge said that Chris Brown is doing a good job complying with the terms of his sentence for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, but that he must remain under the supervision of a probation officer for the time being. According to the Associated Press , Brown was not in court for the hearing where his attorney asked that the singer’s supervised probation end thanks to his good behavior. Superior Court judge George Lomeli, however, agreed with prosecutors, who argued that even with Brown’s good marks to date, he should keep reporting to a probation officer in his home state, Virginia. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, attempted to end the probation, which is part of the sentence Brown received in June 2009 when he agreed to a plea deal in which he plead guilty to one count of felony assault and was sentenced to 180 days of community labor and five years of probation. Geragos pointed to a probation report that said that Brown had been truthful with officers, passed all required drug tests and “has made great strides” while under probation. To date, Brown has completed half of the six months of roadside cleanup, graffiti removal and other manual labor he was ordered to do under the terms of the deal. But the AP reported that Lomeli didn’t think it was unreasonable for Brown to say under supervision while he finishes the rest of his community service hours. The singer has already completed anger management and domestic violence counseling and a different judge in the case agreed last year to relax a restraining order that barred Brown and Rihanna from contacting each other or getting too close to one another at music industry events. The hearing came just days before Brown and Rihanna are slated to return to the Grammy stage for the first time since the February 2009 assault. In advance, tongues have already begun wagging, with rumors flying last month that the exes have reunited recently and have been spending time together again. Chaos! Profanity! Wardrobe malfunctions!
