According to TMZ reports : Wesley Snipes never left home without his American Express card — problem is, he never paid his $30,000 bill before he went to prison … this according to a new lawsuit. The credit card company filed legal docs in Florida last week, insisting the imprisoned actor racked up a massive credit card bill as a free man, totaling $29,343.03 … and now AmEx is out for payback, plus interest. But it doesn’t end there — AmEx also wants Snipes to cover their attorney fees for the legal shakedown. As we previously reported, Snipes is currently serving a 3-year sentence for tax evasion — after allegedly failing to file tax returns for millions of dollars worth of income. He’s expected to be released in 2013. Georgia Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain will hold a news conference Tuesday afternoon in Arizona to discuss the latest sexual harassment allegations against him, his campaign announced late Monday. On Monday, a fourth woman alleged Cain sexually harassed her when she approached him about a job, and a Washington newspaper is reporting a fifth woman is raising questions about Cain’s behavior. Cain continues to deny claims of sexual misconduct. Cain sat down for an interview Monday night on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and denied the sexual harassment allegations made against him, including claims made during a nationally televised press conference Monday. During that press conference, Cain accuser Sharon Bialek, flanked by her attorney Gloria Allred, described an incident in which she said Cain acted inappropriately when she approached him about a job. Allred said during the news conference that when her client approached Cain for help, “Mr. Cain instead decided to try to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package,” reported the Huffington Post. Cain denied the claims to Kimmel. “There’s not an ounce of truth in all of these accusations.” He added, “Here’s one thing people don’t know about Herman Cain. I’m in it to win it, and I’m not gonna be discouraged by all of this stuff.” The problems could continue for Cain. The Washington Examiner reported late Monday that a former employee of the United States Agency for International Development is raising questions about Cain’s behavior. She said Cain asked her to help arrange a dinner date for him with a female audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago. According to the newspaper, Donna Donella, 40 of Arlington, Va., said the agency paid Cain to speak to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002 and during the event an Egyptian businesswoman in her 30s asked Cain a question. Donella told The Washington Examiner, “Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, ‘Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?’” These broads just won’t let ol’ Herman be great huh? What-thee-fizzuck?!?!?! A former model convicted of killing her husband, then cooking and eating his remains wants to get out of prison early. Omaima Aree Nelson is seeking early release from her 27-years-to-life sentence for murdering William E. Nelson, 56, over Thanksgiving weekend in 1991. Nelson is scheduled to appear at a parole board hearing next Wednesday in Chowchilla State Prison in Central California. Her first bid at parole was rejected in 2006. Nelson, who worked as a parttime model and nanny in Egypt, immigrated to the U.S. in 1986. She was in her 20′s when she killed her husband and then dismembered and cooked parts of his body in their Costa Mesa apartment. The couple had been married for about a month. After the murder, Nelson cooked her husband’s head on the stove, skinned his torso, fried his hands in oil, Senior Deputy District Attorney Randy Pawloski, who prosecuted the case, told the Daily Pilot. Nelson then drove garbage bags filled with the body parts to various ex-boyfriends, asking them to help dispose of the evidence and offering $75,000 for help, Pawloski said. Neighbors at the time said the garbage disposal was on for “a long time” and “constant chopping sounds” were coming from the home, according to the newspaper. In court, a psychiatrist testified that Nelson put on red shoes, a red hat and red lipstick before spending hours chopping up her husband’s body. According to Pawloski, Nelson was the first defendant to used the “battered wife” defense in Orange County, claiming her husband raped her the night before she killed him. She also told psychiatrists and her attorney that she had been the victim of sexual abuse as a child in Egypt where she was molested, beaten and forced to undergo female circumcision, a mutilation of the female genitalia. The execution of Troy Davis last night drew widespread criticism, including from 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, who did not hold back on Twitter today. Never one to shy away from controversial subjects, Baldwin made sure that his disgust over the Georgia man’s death was heard loud and clear. Of Davis’ execution, which occurred at 11.08 p.m. by lethal injection, despite a plea for clemency, “The anti-justice haters won tonight,” Baldwin said . The 53-year-old actor went on to make a stream of politically passionate comments that attracted both praise and criticism from Twitter followers. He referred to the family of police officer Mark McPhail, who was gunned down rushing to the aid of a homeless man in a Burger King parking lot in 1989. “Wonder if the MacPhail family will seek death penalty for US leaders who killed thousands of US soldiers and countless innocent Iraqis,” tweeted Alec. He then went on a Twitter rampage about his disgust in the execution of 42-year-old Davis, which was based on questionable eyewitness evidence. “Every sensible American is appalled when police officer is killed. But the attendant charges are grave. U don’t want 2 kill an innocent man.” “Troy Davis is still dead. The gulf, still contaminated. Fukushima, still radioactive. Iraq, war. #wecraveignorancesowecanshoplikeamericans” He then went after conservative blogger Michelle Malkin,after she wrote: “Waiting for Hollyweirdo @alecbaldwin’s “I am Troy Davis” tweet…” To which he replied: “Davis is dead Does that make you happier, @michellemalkin?” He wasn’t done there, hitting her with this comment: “I wonder if @michellemalkin will push the needle in herself on a man the former FBI director said might have reasonable doubt on his side.” Baldwin, who has reportedly considered venturing into politics, was far from the only Hollywood star to weigh in on this cause celebre. California’s Attorney General says officials will not reopen the investigation into the death Rebecca Zahau, despite calls from Jonah Shacknai to do so. Rebecca’s nude body was found hanging from a balcony at Jonah’s Coronado, Calif., mansion, days after his son, Max, was found unconscious there. Rebecca’s death was ruled a suicide , which her family vehemently disagrees with. Max later died from injuries he sustained from an accidental fall. Despite the mysteriousness of Zahau’s suicide message and the way her body was found, among other factors, officials consider the matter closed. In a letter from Kamala Harris’ office to Jonah Shacknai, the A.G. writes : “Your letter requests an inquiry into the investigation that was conducted by the San Diego Sheriff’s Office … The California Department of Justice would review a local investigation under very narrow circumstances.” “Some of the factors that are considered before committing the state’s scarce resources include whether a clear conflict of interest exists, whether local law enforcement agency has requested assistance, whether local investigative resources have been exhausted, and whether there are allegations of gross malfeasance by the investigative agency.” “Based on a review of your request, we must decline your invitation to review this investigation at this time.”
