Dakota Fanning on Kristen Stewart Scandal: Don’t Judge!

Dakota Fanning is all grown up. The actress, who rose to fame at the age of seven in I Am Sam , covers the December issue of InStyle UK and is asked for her response to the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal, considering Fanning has played a key role in The Twilight Saga’s last two films. “I just think that media frenzies like that,” Fanning tells the magazine of the attention surrounding Stewart and Robert Pattinson .” Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that. It’s like, ‘Why do you think you are the authority to judge people’s experiences?” It’s not a bad question. Late last week, Stewart grew angry at a reporter who asked about her stats with Pattinson.

Myla Sinanaj to Kim Kardashian: Step Off!

Very recently considered an ally of Kim Kardashian, someone who would help finalize her divorce from Kris Humphries, Myla Sinanaj now has one simple message for the large-breasted reality star: Back the heck off! That’s essentially what Myla Tweeted last night, calling out Kardashian for actions taken on her behalf in legal proceedings with Humphries. A quick refresher : Kim wants to sign the divorce papers. Kris is dragging the split out in order to earn more money by somehow proving he was duped into a phony marriage. And Kim has subpoenaed Sinanaj under the belief that she can help provide information on Humphries that will damage his case. But after initially sounding like she’d gladly screw over Humphries, Myla now claims to be BFFs with the baller and addressed Kardashian last night with: Why don’t u enjoy ur Miami trip and stop sending private investigators to my house-Stop dragging me into ur drama… I don’t have to explain Or apologize for who I chose to be friends with.

‘True Blood’ Premiere Leaves Fans Thirsty For Answers

Season five kicked off as sexy as ever, but we’ve still got some secrets we’d like to uncover. By Kara Warner Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Lucy Griffiths in “True Blood” Photo: Lacey Terrell/ HBO Just when we were thinking that this summer needed a little more sizzle, HBO’s steamy vampire soap “True Blood” returned with all the nudity, over-the-top sex scenes and drama we’d been missing. Spoilers ahead for those who haven’t yet watched the season five premiere. For those who have, read on as we wrestle with a few new burning questions, along with some unanswered holdovers : How will Eric and Bill Be Punished? If there is anyone within the “True Blood” universe who takes corporal punishment seriously, it’s the Vampire Authority. As such, there is no way that Eric and Bill will escape their uptight, unforgiving clutches without a few flesh wounds. The King and his Sheriff really should face the True Death for their sins against the Authority, but we all know that there is no way HBO would kill off two of the most beloved characters — this isn’t “Game of Thrones.” So the question remains: How will Bill and Eric pay for their crimes? What Big Secret Is Terry Hiding From Arlene? We’ve known about Terry Bellefleur’s PTSD demons for several seasons now, but they haven’t posed a serious problem story-wise until this season. Clearly the arrival and continued presence of Terry’s war buddy Patrick (Scott Foley) is causing serious stress for several reasons, but why? What really happened that night in Iraq? And since this is “True Blood,” what sort of supernatural elements might be in play? When Will Alcide Find Out About Debbie? Those of us who’ve read Charlaine Harris’ books know that the Debbie Pelt murder plotline provided for plenty of drama between Sookie and Alcide, which makes us wonder just how long Alan Ball and company will draw out this particular plot point this season. Yes, Sookie killed someone, but because it was in self-defense, why do she and Lafayette have to be so secretive about it? Alcide knew that Debbie hated Sookie, surely he’ll understand? Regardless, we imagine Alcide will find out right before he and Sookie hookup or profess love to each other or something dramatic. What Happened to Jesus’ Body? Poor Lafayette. The man has been through some serious emotional strife. He finally allows himself to fall in love with a decent man for once, and that man turns out to be a brujo who in turn helps Lafayette uncover a few supernatural abilities of his own, which eventually leads to his death at the hands of Lafayette (who was possessed at the time). All Lafayette wanted to do was bury his dead lover’s body and say goodbye, but now his body is missing? What the heck happened to it? Who would take a dead man’s body and what will they do with it? We’ve already seen Jesus’ ghost once, will we be seeing him later this season fully reanimated in some way, shape or form? How Undead Is Tara? Tara’s not dead! More specifically Tara is now undead, a vampire. The last we saw of her she wanted to drain the life from her BFF Sookie, but we know that won’t happen. Odds are that Tara is not going to be pleased about being turned into a vampire, by Pam of all people, so how is she going to handle that? We don’t see her becoming BFFs with any of the vamps who terrified her before so this plotline could get really ugly really quickly. Maybe she could befriend Jessica? Tara is the most stubborn character on the show, so she’s going to have to be forced into seeking or receiving help, but from whom? What questions did you have after the “True Blood” premiere? Leave your comment below!

Elsewhere In The World: Al Qaeda’s Second-In-Command Abu Yahya al-Libi Has Been Killed By U.S. Drone Attacks In Pakistan

1, 2, the Army’s comin’ for you… Al Qaeda Leader Abu Yahya al-Libi Has Been Killed By U.S. Drones Abu Yahya al-Libi, the No. 2 man in al Qaeda and a longtime public face of the terror network, is dead, White House spokesman Jay Carney confirmed Tuesday. Al-Libi’s death was “another serious blow to core al Qaeda,” said Carney, who was unable to provide further details. “His death is part of the degradation taking place in core al Qaeda in the last several years,” Carney said. Earlier Tuesday, U.S. officials said that al-Libi was killed by a CIA drone strike in Pakistan launched Monday. Al-Libi’s death marks one of the most significant blows to al Qaeda since the U.S. military killed Osama bin Laden in a daring nighttime raid in Pakistan a year ago. Al-Libi was second-in-command behind al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, who took the helm after bin Laden’s death. “There is no one who even comes close in terms of replacing the expertise (al Qaeda) has just lost,” said the U.S. official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Al-Libi “played a critical role in the group’s planning against the West, providing oversight of the external operations efforts,” the official said. “Zawahiri will be hard-pressed to find any one person who can readily step into Abu Yahya’s shoes,” the official said. “In addition to his gravitas as a longstanding member of AQ’s leadership, Abu Yahya’s religious credentials gave him the authority to issue fatwas, operational approvals and guidance to the core group in Pakistan and regional affiliates.” The U.S. Armed Forces is NOT to be f**ked with! We appreciate the hard work that the men and women of the military put in to keep us all safe. Hoo-rah… Image via CNN Source

Jason Trawick to Co-Run Britney Spears’ Affairs

Not only is Jason Trawick set to marry Britney Spears, he may soon take over for her father in maintaining legal control over her professional affairs. E! News confirms that Spears’ fiance has petitioned to be added by the court as the pop singer’s co-conservator, along with her father Jamie Spears. Jamie has held legal control over Britney since early 2008, when her downward spiral left her incapable of handling her finances or medical decisions. Now Jason Trawick , Britney’s former agent, will be added into the mix, but sources say he will only have control over her well-being, not her money. Britney’s father doesn’t feel like Jason’s treading on his toes or anything like that. In fact, he has been pushing for the court to give him the authority . Some say this could be a sign that the couple’s wedding is around the corner, but the mere fact that they’re engaged may have triggered the move. [Photo: WENN.com]

U.S. Court of Appeals Tweaks Janet Jackson’s Nipple [PICS]

Ok, so no one doffed their top in the judge’s chambers. But the 3rd U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia did take a fine-toothed comb today to the FCC decision fining CBS $550,000 for the exposure of Janet Jackson ‘s suckle stalk. Ruling 2-1, the court declared that while the FCC does have the authority to crack down on “indecent images” like Janet’s milk nozzle, the commission acted unfairly by changing its policy towards nippage after the slippage fact and thus the fine was issued in error. In case you were in a coma in 2004, Janet’s top “malfunctioned” during a Super Bowl halftime performance with Justin Timberlake , causing one bejeweled baby button to be briefly exposed on national television. While Mr. Skin was delighted, legions of killjoys were not, and the “Nipplegate” (sk)incident led to a widespread crackdown on nip slips, raunchy song lyrics, sexually suggestive storylines, and everything else that makes network TV worth watching. Celebrate boobs, justice and the American way with some notable live TV nip slips after the jump!
