On November 7, The Sports Illustrated model welcomed her first child, a girl, with her husband of over a year, and of course, she shared a sweet snap of her new little seed on Instagram. The baby’s name is Genevieve Upton Verlander. Verlander’s World Series win with the Houston Astros in October of 2017 was the first in franchise history, and shortly following that big accomplishment, he and Upton tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy. The supermodel announced she was expecting back in July with the simple caption, “#pregnant in Miami” tagging her husband in the post. Following Upton’s announcement, her husband had some gushing to do about the then mom-to-be, reposting the model’s photo and writing: “You’re going to be the most amazing Mom!! I can’t wait to start this new journey with you! You’re the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I’ve ever met! I’m so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much!”

Mackenzie Standifer offered a couple of treats for her social media followers on Halloween. First, the long-time reality star provided fans with their very first glimpse of Jagger, the baby to whom she gave birth in October . It was a fleeting glimpse, mind you. Some might even take issue with this being labeled a glimpse at all. But… hey, there is a baby in the photo below, alright?!? Standifer simply included a black heart emoji as a caption to this image of Jagger and his 10-year old brother, Bentley, both of whom were out and about on Halloween night. Mackenzie has often used this same unusual graphic across her Instagram, prompting some to believe it’s meant as jab at Edwards, who continues to get into trouble with the law. But Standifer insists the emoji has nothing to do with her often-jailed husband. “So here’s the deal about my use of [the black heart],” she wrote two weeks ago online. “There’s nothing behind it except for the fact that it’s different from your everyday [red heart]. Sorry to disappoint. Lol. There’s no hidden or cryptic messages behind it… “It’s just a heart shaped emoji that happens to be black instead of red.” Oh. Okay then. Standifer made a return to Teen Mom OG this past Monday evening in order to discuss Bentley possibly going to private school with his grandparents. She and Ryan had previously quit the MTV franchise , with Mackenzie claiming the network didn’t want to be associated with a recovering drug addict such as Edwards. Mackenzie, never one to mince words, then shared a photo of Teen Mom cameras being set up around her home, writing in the caption that the scene being shot was “Faaakkkkkeeeeeeeeeee” and strongly implying that everything one sees on the show is fake. Sorry, “Faaakkkkkeeeeeeeeeee.” But Ryan’s run-ins with the law have been very real. Because he was arrested (AGAIN) for drug possession earlier this year, Edwards actually missed Jagger’s birth. According to various sources, he has never met his second son. There’s been talk (below) of Standifer leaving Edwards at last and taking their son with her, but she seemed to shoot down such chatter in an Instagram response last night. “Where is Ryan? As a fellow addict I wish him the best. Is he in treatment still?” a follower asked Standifer in reply to her Halloween picture, to which she directly responded: He is doing SO good. Proud of him. We think this is the first time Mackenzie has even acknowledged that Edwards is in treatment. Perhaps that’s progress, considering Standifer spent the better part of the last year insisting that Edwards was clean and sober following his 2017 weeks-long rehab stint. Despite the many times Edwards has faced drug charges , Mackenzie has continued to deny that her husband has a substance abuse problem. But he does. No one can say any differently now. It’s been almost a year since Farrah Abraham got fired from Teen Mom OG , and say what you will about the gal, she certainly didn’t waste any time moping around after getting the ax. Sure Farrah is suing MTV for wrongful termination, but she’s also been keeping her nose to the grindstone to ensure that the income keeps coming in as she awaits the outcome of her hail mary lawsuit. Farrah is nothing if not a hustler, having cashed in on everything from sex toys to Christian-themed novels over the years. But believe it or not, her latest project might be her most bonkers business venture to date. Farrah is a celebrity boxer now, having secured a match against former Flavor of Love star Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander. Normally, fights between washed-up D-listers have very little in common with actual professional boxing matches. But Farrah is training for this thing like there’s a world title at stake. Abraham has lost weight, gained muscle, and — according to some of her followers — she’s unrecognizable in her most recent pics. Obviously, Farrah has switched her look up before (see the photo below in which she appears to have transformed into Kim Kardashian ), but this is something new. Despite the rumors that Farrah has received ab implants , her latest transformation appears to be entirely natural. No one has ever accused Farrah of being the sharpest crayon in the box, but we’re guessing even she realizes that ab implants can’t help her and would very likely hurt her in a boxing match. And if we know anything about Farrah, it’s that the girl is as competitive as they come. Abraham loves Donald Trump , and she seems to approach her life in a similar fashion — viewing everyone who doesn’t constantly sing her praises as an enemy who must be vanquished. There’s no word on how Hoopz is progressing in her own training, but we hope she’s taking this thing seriously. There are a few Teen Mom stars we could name who keep us up at night. They just should not be trusted with children. Chelsea Houska is not one of those moms. She’s actually pretty great with her kids, including her new baby girl . And now, Chelsea is showing off a brand new photo of baby Layne at 2 months old. She’s so cute! Precious baby Layne DeBoer was born on August 29. That day was also Chelsea’s 27th birthday, so the family is going to have to deal with the inconvenience of double-birthdays forever. This week, baby Layne turned two months old — already! Chelsea shared a photo of her third child to mark the occasion. See how much this cutie has grown in just the last month! “Pretty girl is TWO months,” Chelsea captioned the pic. Don’t worry — we have the one-month version of this photo below for comparison. Layne is still a very little baby, but she’s definitely and visibly begun to grow. She has that not-so-expressive look on her face not uncommon to babies. Everything is new, everything is exciting, and everything is a little terrifying — even mommy and datting taking a photo. Before we know it, though, Layne will be smiling, crawling, walking, and even talking. For comparison, here is Layne just one month earlier. Hair bows on babies seem to be super popular these days, if Instagram is any indication. (Maybe as a substitute for hair by parents concerned that their babies might be mistaken for boys? People are weird about that stuff) As you can see, Layne was noticeably smaller in the older photo. And no, we don’t just mean because the camera was farther away. At this time in a baby’s life, they should be growing faster than at any other. Fans cooed over how cute Layne is and how quickly she is growing. A number of commenters also pointed out that she looks a bit like her big brother, Watson. Layne and Watson are both Chelsea’s children with Cole DeBoer. Cole has also really stepped up to be a parent for Chelsea’s daughter, Aubree. (We thank our lucky stars every night that Chelsea is no longer with Adam Lind) Together, the five of them are such a beautiful family. Chelsea’s Instagram is absolutely filled to the brim with photos of family fun. Layne is too little to really appreciate a lot of that yet, but she’ll be grown before any of us can believe it. In the mean time, fans just hope that Chelsea continues to pepper her social media with more snaps of her precious new baby. (And the rest of her adorable, charming family) We can’t wait for the three month update for Layne — which will come a full week after Thanksgiving. This story is absolutely heartbreaking… A newborn baby that was only 8 days old passed away after catching herpes from a ‘kiss of death’, her mother has revealed, in an effort to spread awareness. Aliza Rose Friend was just over 1 week old when she passed away after developing neonatal herpes from the HSV-1 virus. Her 19-year-old mother Abigail claims that Aliza was healthy for the first 36 hours of her life, until she developed a fever, became lethargic, and lost any interest in drinking her food. The newborn quickly deteriorated as the disease “ate her lungs and brain,” which left her struggling to breathe and suffering seizures throughout the day. After doctors told Miss Friend and her partner Tyler Hensley there was “real hope” Aliza would make it, she was later declared brain dead on May 20 and medics ended up turning off her life-support. After the plug was pulled, doctors later told Miss Friend that her daughter likely caught the infection after being kissed by someone with the virus, which typically manifests as a cold sore. In a Facebook post that has now gathered more than 500,000 responses, the heartbroken mother wrote to friends and family: “WASH YOUR HANDS. DO NOT KISS BABIES,” which she included with photos of her late child. “There’s not a moment goes by that I don’t think about her. She’s in my thoughts every day,” Friend said about missing her baby. Although the doctors have informed Friend that her daughter became unwell from either a kiss or after being touched by unwashed, contaminated hands, there is no way of telling who exactly passed the virus on to the baby. Seriously, y’all…stop putting your mouths onto other peoples’ kids. SMH.
For the RHOA stans… Kenya Moore’s Baby Shower Photos It’s almost twirl time for Kenya Moore and the mommy-to-be celebrated with an EPIC royal-themed baby shower. Despite not being on the upcoming season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, Kenya’s shower was filled with RHOA stars including Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, and Shamea Morton. Gizelle Bryant of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” was also in attendance. Other guests included Dr. Heavenly and Toya Bush-Harris of “Married to Medicine”… as well as former housewife Claudia Jordan. Noticeably absent however was NeNe Leakes. NeNe’s absence quickly made fans wonder if there was some secret beef brewing between her and the mommy-to-be. A few weeks ago NeNe told the Bossip on WE tv crew that while she doesn’t necessarily miss Kenya, she was certain that she’d be invited to Kenya’s baby shower. “I can’t say that I do [miss her],” said NeNe. “I probably will get an invite, we don’t have any beef. If I don’t that just saves me from buying a gift honey, I can do something else with my bread.” There’s a perfectly good explanation for NeNe’s absence, however, and it’s much less shady than you think!
