What the hell is it with Florida and mothers doing crazy ish to their kids?? 14-Year Old Girl Admits To Choking New Born And Putting Him In Shoebox A Teenage girl in Florida who hid her pregnancy from her family has confessed to choking the newborn to death following his birth and then hiding his body in a shoebox. Polk County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a 14-year-old girl with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse for allegedly choking her newborn baby to death. The girl, who was not named by authorities, was arrested Thursday night. Detectives say the girl hid her pregnancy from her family. She gave birth to a boy in the bathroom of her home on Sept. 19, then told detectives that she choked the baby and put him in a shoebox. The girl’s mother found the baby in the box, hidden in some laundry. She is being held at the Polk County Juvenile Detention Facility. It’s unclear whether she’s retained an attorney. The single-mom Professor was in a bind and brought her baby girl to work…but none of her students expected her to break her tiddays out of her top during their lecture. Adrienne Pine was in a jam. The assistant anthropology professor at American University was about to begin teaching “Sex, Gender & Culture,” but her baby daughter woke up in the morning with a fever. The single mother worried that she had no good child-care options. So Pine brought her sick baby to class. The baby, in a blue onesie, crawled on the floor of the lecture hall during part of the 75-minute class two weeks ago, according to the professor’s account. The mother extracted a paper clip from the girl’s mouth at one point and shooed her away from an electrical outlet. A teaching assistant held the baby and rocked her at times, volunteering to help even though Pine stressed that she didn’t have to. When the baby grew restless, Pine breast-fed her while continuing her lecture in front of 40 students. Now Pine finds herself at the center of a debate over whether she did the right thing that day and what the ground rules are for working parents who face such child-care dilemmas.“Every working parent can empathize with facing the choice of an important day at work when a child gets sick,” officials added in a second statement Tuesday afternoon. “Both demand your focus and attention. There is no easy or ideal alternative.”Some students interviewed Tuesday said breast-feeding doesn’t belong in the classroom. University officials, however, said professors should avail themselves of other options rather than expose students to potential illness. “For the sake of the child and the public health of the campus community, when faced with the challenge of caring for a sick child in the case where backup childcare is not available, a faculty member should take earned leave and arrange for someone else to cover the class, not bring a sick child into the classroom,” university spokeswoman Camille Lepre said in an e-mail. Usher got custody of his kids and wants Tameka to move on. Via TMZ reports : Usher is firing back at his ex-wife in their bitter custody dispute — claiming her “vile” attempts to regain custody of their children are an insult to the justice system. As we reported, Usher emerged victorious after an arduous custody trial with his ex Tameka Raymond, in which the judge awarded Usher primary custody of the couple’s two sons. Tameka filed papers asking for a new trial — on the grounds the judge had received campaign contributions from Usher’s lawyer and was biased as a result — but Usher says that’s BS. The singer filed his own response on Wednesday asking the court to deny Tameka’s request, claiming her motion is “an assault on the integrity of the court.” According to the docs, Usher believes Tameka is delusional, claiming if she were granted a new trial, it would be grounds for a reversal of ALL trials where a lawyer had contributed to a judge’s campaign. Usher claims the motion “constitutes a continuum of [Tameka’s] vile and unsupported claims that every person who dared testify against her … is biased and tainted.” A judge has yet to rule on the matter. SMH… What’s sad is there was never any evidence presented that showed Tameka Raymond isn’t a good mother, or even that Usher is a better parent than her. Especially when it was found that the shady azz judge had a relationship with Usher’s lawyer . Do you think Tameka deserves a new trial? But will she get one?

Jessica Simpson To Sit Down With Katie Couric For First Post-Pregnancy Interview New mommy Jessica Simpson will be the first guest to sit down with Katie Couric on her new talk show and discuss her chubby lumpkins struggles since signing a multi-million dollar endorsement deal with Weight Watchers. Disney announced Tuesday that Jessica Simpson will be Couric’s first big “get” when the program premieres Sept. 10. Simpson will be making her first post-baby TV appearance. This is relevant and newsworthy because Simpson — who put on a lot of weight while pregnant with her first child — was signed by Weight Watchers to become their new spokeswoman if she can get the weight off. Word on the street is that the weight loss hasn’t gone so well. On the premiere episode of “Katie,” Simpson is going to discuss the “intense challenge” of losing the weight and “nasty rumors” about that, Disney said. Smh….let this woman lose her weight in peace.
