Barack Tells Shady Politico’s To Stay Out Of Women’s Health Decisions!!! [Video]

Barack’s steppin’ up while Mittens is avoiding the questions altogether! He’s not even trying to act like he’s offended by all that rape=blessings kool-aid chitchatter that some of his supporters are spittin’. In an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, POTUS was vocal about women’s health care choices. Brian Williams asked the President, ‘Mr. President, the subject of rape has been in the public discourse during the campaign year more than any time I can remember during American public life. you were asked about it last night, you have inserted a line in your speech, I noted about women’s health. is that as far as you’re comfortable going right now?’. And Barack wasn’t playin’ with his response, ‘Well, no, let me be very clear. These attempts to re-define rape in some way make no sense to me, and I don’t think they make sense to the vast majority of women across the country. But more broadly, I think what these episodes point to is the fact that you don’t want politicians, the majority of them male, making a series of decisions about women’s health care issues. You know, I’m very proud of my track record when it comes to having confidence that women can make their own decisions. You know, that is what I believe, that is how I govern, and those are the kinds of Supreme Court, you know, choices that I have made to remarkable women. And I think that it is important for women to have confidence that their president knows this is a set of decisions for them to make in consultations with their families, their clergy, it is not something that politicians need to get involved in.’ What’s your stance on this issue? Joe Simpson and Tina Simpson to Divorce

Joe Simpson and Tina Simpson, the parents of Jessica and Ashlee, are divorcing after 35 years of marriage. A rep for the famous family confirmed the break-up to Us Weekly via the following statement: “Tina and Joe Simpson have filed for divorce. It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time.” The reference to other “allegations” is likely a response to a National Enquirer story that claims Joe came out of the closet a couple months ago and even has a “20-something boy toy.” Joe and Tina were both featured back in the day on MTV’s Newlyweds and also became second-time grandparents  in May when Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew . Joe Simpson also made news in August when he was arrested for DUI .

Special Olympian Pens Letter to Ann Coulter

Earlier this week, following the third and final Presidential Debate , Ann Coulter referred to Barack Obama as a “retard.” The conservative commentator has since come under fire from many on the Left and also a few on the Right. But the following response stands out the most. John Franklin Stephens, a competitor in the Special Olympics, has penned an open letter to Coulter. In it, he writes that he saw Coulter’s controversial Tweet and “realized you just wanted to belittle the President by linking him to people like me. You assumed that people would understand and accept that being linked to someone like me is an insult and you assumed you could get away with it and still appear on TV.” Stephens goes on: “I have to wonder if you considered other hateful words but recoiled from the backlash. “Well, Ms. Coulter, you, and society, need to learn that being compared to people like me should be considered a badge of honor… No one overcomes more than we do and still loves life so much.” Read Stephens’ full letter (which he concludes by inviting Coulter to attend the Special Olympics) and respond yourself: What did you think of Ann Coulter’s reference?   Totally inappropriate! ‘Airbrushing History’: Barack Takes Mittens Out During The Final Debate

“We’ve been through tough times, but we always bounce back because of our character.” Barack threw a lot of one-liners during tonight’s debate that are sure to go down in history. And on a night when Robney needed to question Barack, he just proved to be a copycat. Money Mitt kept trying to shift the conversation back to education and the high unemployment rate during the entire debate and in the end, Romney adopted Obama’s foreign policy and looked like an amateur who knew nothing about what it really takes to sit in that chair in the Oval Office! Mexico wasn’t mentioned once in tonight’s debate but China came up in regards to trade and finances. Barack didn’t hesitate to call out Romney on his shady relationship with them either when he said, “If it were up to Romney we’d be buying Chinese cars today, not selling cars to the Chinese”… According to CNN: A forceful President Barack Obama put Republican challenger Mitt Romney on the defensive on foreign policy issues on Monday night, scoring a solid victory in their third and final debate just 15 days before Election Day. Obama displayed the experience of a commander-in-chief in explaining U.S. policy under his leadership and attacking the views and proposals of Romney, a former Massachusetts governor with little experience on overseas issues. Romney applauded Obama’s efforts to kill Osama bin Laden and other al Qaeda leaders but insisted that “we can’t kill our way of this mess.” Rather, he pushed for “a comprehensive strategy” to curb violent extremism in the Middle East. “The key is the pathway is to get the Muslim world to reject extremism on its own,” Romney said, proposing U.S. policies to promote economic development, better education, gender equity and to help create institutions. However, he was unable to express any significant policy difference with Obama on how that would happen. Obama responded by criticizing his opponent on a host of foreign policy issues — claiming Romney had favored positions that would have hurt the United States or offered sometimes contradictory views. “What we need to do with respect to the Middle East is strong, steady leadership — not wrong and reckless leadership that is all over the map,” the president said. Romney also repeatedly tried to shift the discussion to his strongest issue — the continued high unemployment and slow economic recovery under Obama — arguing that a strong foreign policy and national defense depends on a strong economy. The president shot back that Romney was basing his comparison on military capability on outdated models, saying America had fewer naval ships than years earlier but also has fewer bayonets. “The question is not a game of ‘Battleship’ where we’re counting ships. It’s a matter of capability,” Obama said. Romney’s economic plan seeks trillions in tax cuts while increasing defense spending, which would increase the deficit, Obama said The candidates were at odds as well about how Washington should ultimately respond to the continuing violence in Syria. We’re pretty sure Mitt’s voting for Barack tomorrow! What were your favorite cracks on Mittens that Obama whipped at the GOP candidate tonight? Photos via gettyimages

True Or False: Did Britney Spears Shave Her Head To Keep From Getting Caught Smokin’ That Crystal Method?

Britney Spears was smokin’ that Teena!?!? Former manager Sam Lufti claims the pop princess went the bald route to cover up her junkie ways… Via NY Post reports : Britney Spears didn’t shave her head in a fit of rage — she did it so there would be no way to trace her drug use, a lawyer for her former manager claimed in court. Joseph Schleimer opened Sam Lutfi’s libel case against Spears’ parents and conservators by showing dramatic photos of the pop superstar with a shaved head and striking an SUV with an umbrella. Schleimer suggested to the LA jury that Spears was afraid a judge would order a test of her hair. If drugs were found, the judge could take away her two sons and give custody to ex-husband Kevin Federline. Schleimer claimed Lutfi tried to save the meth-addled Spears from a mental breakdown but lost control — and was blamed for her being hospitalized and placed under a court-ordered conservator. During a break when the jury was not present, Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera warned Schleimer that his bold claims had to be supported by evidence. Schleimer said he would prove them through either “testimony or documentary evidence.” He told the jury that one of the first things he did when he was hired as Spears’ manager was to have drug-sniffing dogs scour her hilltop home — and they found crystal meth in a trap door. Spears almost certainly won’t testify because she remains under a conservatorship overseen by a judge who has ordered her not to appear for trial or a deposition. But Spears’ parents, Jamie and Lynne, both sat in the audience. Yesterday, a lawyer for Jamie told jurors his client went to heroic lengths to save Britney from drug addiction and mental illness. Lutfi agreed to work for Spears in July 2007 for 15 percent of her earnings — but only if she stayed away from drugs, his lawyer said. The court case is the culmination of a long-running battle between Lutfi and Spears’ parents. He is seeking millions of dollars from Spears and her family, claiming her mother’s 2008 book, “Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World,” lied about him drugging and isolating the pop star. He is also seeking a portion of the singer’s profits, claiming he was a key player in her 2007 album “Blackout.” Yikes… But meth is such a trashy drug. Oh wait, this is Britney Spears we’re talking about right?

Take ‘Em Off! Michelle Obama Says That She Likes Barry-O “Commando-And-Chief” (No Draws!) [Video]

Yo POTUS don’t wear no draaaaaaws… Michelle Obama Says She Likes It When President Obama Doesn’t Wear Underwear Via NYDailyNews Even healthy living advocate Michelle Obama sometimes indulges in junk food and junk TV. The First Lady confessed that “french fries” and the “Real Housewives” are her guilty pleasures during an appearance on ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Michael” that aired Friday morning. Wearing a feminine cap-sleeve floral dress and pink pumps, Obama good-naturedly answered a “lightning round” of questions about everything from what’s inside her purse to what’s under her husband’s suit. “Oh boy. Please forgive me,” co-host Michael Strahan began as he launched into the most revealing question. “For the President, do you prefer boxers or briefs?” “Um, none of the above,” Obama blurted, flashing an embarrassed grin. “No, I’m just kidding,” she quickly protested as the audience cheered. Ok freaky-deeky FLOTUS! Gon’ ‘head playa! Peep the video below to watch in the entire interview. (The “no draws” part is at the very end)

Surprise: The Mormon-Loving Salt Lake City Tribune Officially Endorses President Barry-O Over Money Makin’ Mitt!

Mitt’s face must be crunchy… Salt Lake City Tribune Endorses Mitt Romeny Via Salt Lake City Tribune Nowhere has Mitt Romney’s pursuit of the presidency been more warmly welcomed or closely followed than here in Utah. The Republican nominee’s political and religious pedigrees, his adeptly bipartisan governorship of a Democratic state, and his head for business and the bottom line all inspire admiration and hope in our largely Mormon, Republican, business-friendly state. But it was Romney’s singular role in rescuing Utah’s organization of the 2002 Olympics from a cesspool of scandal, and his oversight of the most successful Winter Games on record, that make him the Beehive State’s favorite adopted son. After all, Romney managed to save the state from ignominy, turning the extravaganza into a showcase for the matchless landscapes, volunteerism and efficiency that told the world what is best and most beautiful about Utah and its people. In short, this is the Mitt Romney we knew, or thought we knew, as one of us. Sadly, it is not the only Romney, as his campaign for the White House has made abundantly clear, first in his servile courtship of the tea party in order to win the nomination, and now as the party’s shape-shifting nominee. From his embrace of the party’s radical right wing, to subsequent portrayals of himself as a moderate champion of the middle class, Romney has raised the most frequently asked question of the campaign: “Who is this guy, really, and what in the world does he truly believe?” The evidence suggests no clear answer, or at least one that would survive Romney’s next speech or sound bite. Politicians routinely tailor their words to suit an audience. Romney, though, is shameless, lavishing vastly diverse audiences with words, any words, they would trade their votes to hear. Wow, tough crowd… The newspaper then went on to make a pretty convincing case for why they support President Obama for another term. And what of the president Romney would replace? For four years, President Barack Obama has attempted, with varying degrees of success, to pull the nation out of its worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression, a deepening crisis he inherited the day he took office. In the first months of his presidency, Obama acted decisively to stimulate the economy. His leadership was essential to passage of the badly needed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Though Republicans criticize the stimulus for failing to create jobs, it clearly helped stop the hemorrhaging of public sector jobs. The Utah Legislature used hundreds of millions in stimulus funds to plug holes in the state’s budget. The president also acted wisely to bail out the auto industry, which has since come roaring back. Romney, in so many words, said the carmakers should sink if they can’t swim. High praise for the POTUS. In considering which candidate to endorse, The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem-solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago. Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb. Through a pair of presidential debates, Romney’s domestic agenda remains bereft of detail and worthy of mistrust. Therefore, our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first. If Money Makin’ Mitt can’t even convince his own people (Mormons) to f**k with him, then he’s got a tough road ahead of him. Image via AP

Candy Crowley, CNN Debate Moderator, Accused of Anti-Romney Bias

CNN has come under fire for moderator Candy Crowley’s performance at this week’s presidential debate , but the network brass is standing by its political correspondent. Candy Crowley Debate Highlights Some observers feel she was disproportionately harsh on Mitt Romney. The network doesn’t believe it, but worries about anything that “calls into question CNN’s impartiality.” CNN’s Managing Editor Mark Whitaker sent an email around the office praising Crowley and trying to blunt criticism that she was biased toward President Barack Obama. It reads: “Let’s start with a big round of applause for Candy Crowley for a superb job under the most difficult circumstances imaginable.” “She and her team had to select and sequence questions in a matter of hours, and then had to deal with a tricky format, nervous questioners, and aggressive debaters, all while shutting out pre-debate attempts to spin and intimidate her. She pulled it off masterfully. ” “The reviews on Candy’s performance have been overwhelmingly positive but Romney supporters are going after her on two points, no doubt because their man did not have as good a night as he had in Denver .” “On the legitimacy of Candy fact-checking Romney on Obama’s Rose Garden statement, it should be stressed that she was just stating a fact. Obama did talk about an act (or acts) of terror, no matter what you think he meant at the time.” “On why Obama got more time to speak, it should be noted that Candy and her commission producers tried to keep it even but that Obama went on longer largely because he speaks more slowly.” “We’re going to do a word count to see whether, as in Denver, Romney actually got more words in even if he talked for a shorter period of time.” You be the judge: Was Candy biased?   Yes No View Poll » Who won the debate Tuesday?   Barack Obama Mitt Romney View Poll » Who should win November 6?   Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »
