Bollywood Star, Mallika Sherawat rubbing elbows with the President of the United States of America Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The Bollywood actress beauty and the President first met during Obama’s Los Angeles, California visit for a fundraiser held at Sony Studios. Politics seem to be a recurring theme for Sherawat, as she stars in her first US feature film entitled “Politics of Love” starring opposite Brian White, Loretta Devine, and Ruby Dee. The Romantic comedy takes place during the 2008 Presidential election and focuses on a democratic Obama volunteer coordinator (Sherawat) who falls in love with a Republican McCain supporter (White). Sherawatt will travel to Cannes to host the “Politics of Love” sunset cocktail party at hotspot Nikki Beach during this year’s film festival.
President Barack Obama and his family attended the Easter Sunday service at Shiloh Baptist Church, which was founded by freed slaves in 1863. The first family entered the church to a standing ovation, then joined in singing with the choir, backed by a live band that included a guitar, keyboard and drums. Rev. Wallace Charles Smith welcomed the Obamas, noting the congregants pray for them every Sunday. At collection time, Obama and his daughters gave money in envelopes provided at their seats. The first family left after two hours, as the service approached its conclusion. The president and his family have attended services occasionally since moving to the White House in January 2009. Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat has been in town this week before she goes to Cannes to launch her latest movie, “Politics of Love” and had time to meet with Barack Obama, who currently occupies the Office of President in the United States. Since her new movie tells of love stories that blossomed during Obama’s election campaign, the meeting seems quite apropos since he allegedly even requested a ticket to the premiere. Tom Lippolis is not backing off his claims that ex-girlfriend Jenni Farley (commonly known as JWoww) came at him with a kitchen knife and sliced him up HARD. “I thought she was going to kill me,” JWoww’s former beau says. Why he didn’t mention this for 13 months is unclear, but he’s certainly talking about now, saying he got 37 stitches in his arm after he was stabbed by JWoww . “Jenni put a kitchen knife through my entire arm,” Tom Lippolis claims in an interview , saying that he didn’t report it to protect Jenni, who he was in love with. Lippolis, who at the time was also JWoww’s manager, says the booze-fueled melee all started over Lippolis allegedly posing for a photo with another woman. JWoww’s rep had no comment about the accusations by Tom, who she is also fighting in court over nude photos of her that he’s been threatening to sell. Needless to say, Roger Williams, who she got together with on the third season of Jersey Shore , seems like he has a much more stable relationship with her.
