‘Breaking Dawn’ Exclusive Clip: Bella’s Wedding Day

Sneak peek premieres during ‘MTV First’ with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment For all the “Twilight” fans out there — and, more specifically, the prone-to-swoon hopeless romantics — one of the most anticipated moments in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” is the wedding of Bella Swan ( Kristen Stewart ) and Edward Cullen ( Robert Pattinson ). Fans have been buzzing about it for as long as we can remember, and on Thursday (November 3) — thanks to our exclusive “MTV First: Breaking Dawn” with Stewart, Pattinson and Taylor Lautner — we got another sneak peek at how sweet, emotional and beautiful those nuptials are going to be when we finally see them on the big screen, when the film opens November 18. Our clip opens with Bella’s mother Renee (Sarah Clarke) entering the room in which Alice (Ashley Greene) and Rosalie (Nikki Reed) are helping Bella get ready for her wedding day. “Oh my gosh, you’re so beautiful,” Mom says when she sees Bella, who is still in casual clothes but has her hair and makeup finished. “Oh, honey — crap, my mascara!” Renee exclaims, at which point Alice hands her a tissue. “Thanks,” she says, dabbing at her eyes. “Charlie, get in here!” she calls to Bella’s father (played by Billy Burke). Charlie pops his head into the frame tentatively. “You sure?” he asks, then walks slowly into the room, at which point Bella — seeing her dad all dolled up in a tuxedo — is so surprised she stands up out of her chair. “I know,” he says, seeing her reaction. “I look hot.” “We thought you needed something blue,” Renee says to Bella as Charlie opens a jewelry case to reveal a jewel-encrusted decorative hair comb. “And something old,” Charlie adds. “Besides your mother,” he jokes. “Thanks,” Renee scoffs. “It was Grandma Swan’s,” Charlie tells Bella. “But we added the sapphires,” Renee adds as Bella picks up the comb for a closer look. “It’s beautiful, you guys,” Bella says, handing the comb to Alice to put in her hair. “Wow. Thank you so much.” “It’s your first family heirloom,” Renee says. “You can pass it on to your daughter and her daughter,” she adds, tearing up and dabbing her eyes, and the scene fades to black. Brad Pitt Relates To ‘David Vs. Goliath’ Story In ‘Moneyball’

‘I certainly feel injustice,’ he tells MTV News. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill in “Moneyball” Photo: Columbia Pictures You’d think it’s been a while since Brad Pitt felt anything like an underdog, since those days in the late ’80s when he was pumped just to get a few lines in a TV show like “21 Jump Street” or had to console himself with work as an extra next to then-hot shots like Andrew McCarthy and Jami Gertz. These days, he’s Brad Pitt: Oscar nominee, beloved of Angelina Jolie and … freaking Brad Pitt. But as the actor admitted to MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival, there are still times when he feels like the world is against him, when he finds himself in a similar situation to the 2002 Oakland Athletics, the small-market Major League Baseball club at the center of his new movie, “Moneyball.” “I certainly feel injustice,” he said. “I’m no foreigner to that, whether it’s real or perceived.” Unjust is certainly the situation the A’s find themselves in the film, which is based on the best-selling nonfiction title by Michael Lewis and which hits theaters September 23. The team had a vastly smaller payroll than other teams but nonetheless was able to rise to the top when general manager Billy Beane (Pitt) employed a newfangled, statistics-based approach to building his roster of players. “These are guys that are working in an unfair game,” Pitt explained. “They are a team with no money trying to fight — it’s David vs. Goliath. How are they going to be competitive? How are they going to stand a chance? They can’t fight the other guys’ fight; they’re going to lose every time. These guys had to rethink it and rethink what they were doing. “They’re Galileo, in a sense, going up against an institution that is not going to be very happy about them questioning their norms,” he added. ‘Breaking Dawn’ Trailer: Experts Pick Favorite Scenes

Honeymoon aftermath, Bella and Jacob’s dance and Bella giving birth all get shout-outs from our superfans. By Kara Warner Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Now that we’ve finally seen the latest trailer for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and picked our favorite moments , it’s time that we turn the continued swooning and sighing over to our trusted panel of “Twilight” experts to learn what they loved most about the new sneak peek. “My favorite scene … was the feathers in the bed,” TwilightLexicon.com owner Laura Byrne-Cristiano said of the honeymoon aftermath, featuring a sleepy and happy-looking Bella surrounded by feathers from a torn pillow. “That was a moment I think every fan wanted to be there. I was so happy that it was in the trailer, and we know it’s going to be in the movie. It could have been cheesy, and it looks like it’s going to be fun.” “My favorite scene was the dancing scene with Bella and Jacob,” Kara Hassell of TwilightersAnonymous.com said. “I liked it because we [usually] see a lot of action, especially with Jacob and the wolf pack, so it was nice to see a really serious moment between them. I think that their chemistry is great and they do really well.” Kallie Matthews from TwilightSeriesTheories.com went for the more uncomfortable moment. “There were a lot of favorite moments. This is slightly morbid, but [I liked] actually getting to see parts of the birth scene,” she admitted. “I’ve been so curious about how it’s going to play out. The books are just glimpses, and it seems like the movie is going to be that way too, so I’m really glad that Bill Condon is staying true to that,” she explained. “Like I said, morbid.” What was your favorite scene in the trailer? ‘Breaking Dawn’ Trailer: Our Five Favorite Moments

MTV News breaks down the latest ‘Twilight’ trailer. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Be still, our “Twilight”-obsessed hearts. Finally, a new trailer arrived online Tuesday (September 13), and it is a doozy. Picking up where the first one (which debuted during the MTV Movie Awards in June) left off, the sparkling, action-packed, two-minute-and-30-second teaser offers fresh glimpses of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” The fact that we enjoyed every second of this new trailer is a given, therefore we are breaking out our top five favorite moments: Charlie Walks Bella Down the Aisle Bella’s dad has never seemed totally onboard with his daughter dating Edward Cullen, let alone marrying him. However, in this sweet moment that opens the trailer, we see a wonderful bond between Bella and Charlie, as well as the natural chemistry between actors Kristen Stewart and Billy Burke, as they prepare to walk down the aisle together. “Don’t let me fall, Dad” Bella says. “Never,” he answers. Jacob and Bella’s Dance After three books and four films of fighting for her heart, Jacob Black has to succumb to serious heartbreak and officially say goodbye to Bella. This sweet and heartfelt moment is captured beautifully during a slow dance at Bella’s wedding reception. “This is how I’ll remember you,” Jacob says to Bella, hinting at the fact that she’s set her heart on becoming a vampire. “Pink cheeks, heartbeat — you think I’d be used to telling you goodbye by now.” The Honeymoon Aftermath It’s safe to say that fans have been more excited about seeing the honeymoon scene than any other — save for a glimpse at Bella’s wedding dress, perhaps. In the new trailer, we revisit Edward’s hands crushing the headboard, followed by a very pleased and peaceful Bella lying in bed, surrounded by feathers from torn pillows and possibly pieces of the headboard. Intense, heated and squeal-worthy, for sure. Wolves vs. Vamps It wouldn’t be a “Twilight” movie without some sort of epic battle involved, and in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” there is a grand showdown between wolves and vampires. The wolf pack, which Jacob has deserted, wants to prevent Bella’s unborn half-human, half-vampire from being born. “Get ready, they’re coming for Bella,” Jacob says, anxiously. “They’re not going to touch her,” answers Edward. We then see a shot of a standoff, wolves surrounding the vampires, at which point Jacob addresses them, “If you kill her, you kill me,” followed by quick cuts of Alice and Jasper Cullen fighting the wolves. Edward Reacts to Bella In Labor Throughout the final minute of the trailer, most of the emphasis is put on the tension surrounding Bella’s pregnancy. Carlyle warns Bella: “The fetus isn’t compatible with your body. It’s too strong and fast growing. Your heart will give out before you can do anything” — which Bella doesn’t want to hear, much like Edward’s emotional outbursts that she has decided to give up her life for her unborn child, without considering his feelings. The last shot of the trailer is Edward’s face, full of anguish and anxiety, with Bella screaming in pain in the background. What was your favorite scene in the trailer? Let us know in the comments! I always had hope that one day I would write my own Bieber…

I always had hope that one day I would write my own Bieber experience but I still just cannot believe it! Here is my story. I had bought my tickets for Justin Bieber’s concert in Adelaide , May 5 th  2011 and I was just way to excited! One of my best friends Bella and I are like the biggest fans and we have been supporting JB for about 2 years together! Our biggest dream was to meet him and we never gave up. We entered every single competition there was, no joke and sadly won none. It was 2 nights before the concert and I was talking to another friend from school, she told me about this one on  BIEBERFEVER.COM   and said not many from Adelaide entered so I had a good chance! It was the night before the concert and I was sleeping at Bella’s house. We still hadn’t heard anything from bieberfever so we assumed we had lost and went to bed pretty upset! I woke up to a slap on my face, all I heard was Bella screaming, “SARAH SARAH WE WON OMG IM NOT EVEN JOKING. WE ARE MEETING JUSTIN BIEBER!!!” She started crying and I thought I was dreaming, considering I was half asleep. Everyone was so happy for us and I just still couldn’t get through my mind that  I WAS GOING TO MEET JUSTIN BIEBER!  Just what the hell I couldn’t believe it! We spent the day stressing about what to wear and getting gifts for him! It was an intense day haha! We got to the entertainment centre, collected my wristbands for both Bella and I and went in to this small room waiting to meet Justin!! So many emotions were rushing through me I was getting so nervous and excited. I couldn’t wait much longer. Suddenly the security guard called for the next group of 4. This was it! Bella, Adri, Izzy and I went in. I put my gifts on the table and turned around and there he was, standing there in his hoodie! He put his arms out for a hug and said, “Hey guys” Omg I think I died inside, like in person he is so much more amazing! I was just in shock and Kenny noticed all our faces were just like :O and he was like, “do you remember his name?” and started laughing. I stayed next to him and we had a photo. After they took the photo I looked up to him cause he’s taller. He looked down and smiled and said, “Thank you so much!” He had his arm around me and then we had to leave so we all said goodbye I hugged him again and wished him luck for the show! Once we left, Bella like collapsed and started crying. We went to our seats and it was just the most amazing concert I have ever been too. That whole day will be one I will never ever forget! Also a month later , June the 5 th , Justin followed me on Twitter!  I have never been so excited in my life; I MET HIM AND HE FOLLOWED ME! My life could not get any better! I seriously felt so extremely lucky. Meeting him was the most amazing moment in my life so far and I am so thankful I got the chance! He is an incredible person and so nice! – @sarzfantasia Read this article: I always had hope that one day I would write my own Bieber…

Christina Aguilera Addresses Divorce, National Anthem Snafu

Christina Aguilera poses naked on the latest cover of W Magazine. This might make it difficult for any reader to focus on the interview inside, but that would be a shame. Because the singer touches on two of the obstacles that made the beginning of 2011 so challenging for her: Her split from Jordan Bratman. Her forgetting of the National Anthem lyrics prior to Super Bowl XLV. On why she and Bratman got divorced : “At one time or another, we were both not angels. It got to a point where my life at home was reminding me of my own childhood. I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home…” On the Super Bowl snafu : “Everything on the field at the Super Bowl was vividly bright, and I was having a moment. I got lost in the emotion of being there and I messed up the lyrics to the song.” Oh well. Christina has bounced back nicely, anchoring the panel on The Voice , this season’s top-rated new show.

What Lunar Eclipse? A Look At The ‘Eclipse’ Cast’s Top Quotes

We pay homage to the recent astronomical event by paying homage to ‘Eclipse.’ By Jocelyn Vena Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “Eclipse” Photo: Summit On early Tuesday morning, astronomy freaks had the pleasure of seeing a lunar eclipse take place on the winter solstice for the first time since 1638. It certainly isn’t the first eclipse to take place this year, however. This summer, Hollywood saw a major “Eclipse” when the third film in “The Twilight Saga” was released in June. So, in honor of this week’s historic event, we take a look at some of the castmembers’ best quotes about their own “Eclipse.” Everyone was buzzing about that tent scene and it seems like it delivered. When MTV News spoke to Elizabeth Reaser about the scene, which Taylor Lautner admitted was his favorite , she had a very interesting take on the whole thing. “The tent scene is sort of a three-way — I mean, it’s a chaste three-way, but it is, nonetheless, a three-way,” Reaser said. “So I do think that ups the sexiness factor in this movie, but I don’t know. The first movie, I thought, was intensely sexy, because [Bella and Edward] couldn’t touch, and to watch them fall in love was so sexy. And I love that, in the books, they all have great chemistry. So it’s fun to watch.” Much of the Bella/Jacob love story is chaste, but as Kristen Stewart pointed out around the release of “Eclipse,” she could see why Bella would consider life with Jacob, especially during that epic battle sequence. “There’s a moment right before the big battle happens; Jacob gets emotional and crazy, and he’s gonna try and hurt himself and fight,” Stewart said about one of her favorite scenes. “And [Bella] gets to a point where the only way to save him is to kiss him, and what surprises her is, she’s not only able to do it; she can clearly see that he offers a really desirable path that, before, because she was so obsessed with Edward … she just had to like nothing else. She had no perspective, and so it’s a moment.” Robert Pattinson apparently doesn’t enjoy filming action sequences for the “Twilight” movies, but he said he had less of a problem with the ones in “Eclipse.” “You’re always wearing skinny jeans, a little blazer and a kind of woolen sweater and trying to act like you’re tough,” he laughed. “You just know it’s not going to happen. For some reason, I felt a lot more comfortable with the action stuff this time.” Of course, no “Twilight” movie would be complete without seeing Jacob shirtless, and Lautner admitted that disrobing for this film was a lot easier than in the series’ previous installment. “It’s better when it’s warmer,” Lautner joked . ” ‘Eclipse’ was better than ‘New Moon’ because we filmed it in the summer. But it’s still a little different when I’m the only person on set with a shirt off.” Related Videos ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Clips ‘Eclipse’ Hits New York City Related Photos ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’

Nikki Reed Explains Bella And Rosalie’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Bond

The onetime rivals’ love for baby Renesmee is ‘the one thing that’s strong enough to bring them together.’ By Kara Warner Nikki Reed Photo: MTV News With “Eclipse” about to leave theaters and a sizable gap between the release dates of “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and “Part 2,” the “Twilight” news seems hard to come by these days — at least until the cast starts filming “Dawn” this fall. Lucky for us, MTV News caught up with Nikki Reed recently to talk about her upcoming indie film “Last Day of Summer” co-starring DJ Qualls, and, naturally, the conversation veered into “Breaking Dawn” territory. As fans and readers of Stephenie Meyer’s final “Twilight” book know, Reed’s character Rosalie and Kristen Stewart’s Bella form an unexpected bond late in the series. We asked her thoughts on how the relationship between the two women changes in the final two films. “What is that saying: Nothing makes two people bond more than the hate of another?” Reed said. “I kind of feel like that [describes Bella and Rosalie’s relationship], but in relation to love in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ because they both love this child so much.” Speaking of Bella and Edward’s much-discussed baby, Renesmee, Reed explained that a shared love unites the two. “I think it’s finally the one thing that’s strong enough to bring them together — their love for this [child]. It’s bizarre,” Reed said, since in the books and the films Bella and Rosalie don’t exactly get along perfectly. “It’s like they learn to co-exist for the sake of the kid, almost like they’re a divorced couple.” Reed has also said that her character’s motivations for wanting Bella to have the baby at all costs are all about that love she has for the child, not politics. “I think that Rosalie just always wanted to be a mom, and that’s how I look at it,” she said. “It has nothing to do with being pro-life or anything. I think it’s about her want, her need to be a mother, and this is the only opportunity she’s ever going to have, so she’s willing to let Bella die so she can have that and fulfill that, and that’s how I look at it. It’s her own personal desires.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
