My Bieber Experience started almost a year ago; June 29, 2010 to…

My Bieber Experience started almost a year ago; June 29, 2010 to be exact. I’ve known about Justin since January of 2009, which was just before he got famous. Little did I know how big of a deal he was going to be! On June 29, 2010 I saw him perform with my best friends in Minneapolis at the Target Center! It was an amazing performance and he seemed so excited since it was one of his very first concerts on his My World tour. I became obsessed! Fast forward to February of 2011, I became obsessed again. I found out he was going on tour and thought MAYBE just MAYBE I’d get to go to a concert out of the country! I saw ‘Never Say Never’ and told my dad how badly I wanted to meet him. A week later he texted me and told me he found front row seats! I was FREAKING OUT. Then I saw where it was. AUSTRALIA. MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. I was internally dying. I stayed up until 4 am almost every single day for the next two weeks begging him to take me. I was losing hope fast and then one night he said “Let’s look ONE LAST TIME!” We had found the tickets on eBay and he said “Let’s look under this section.” It was called ‘Starred/Purchased’ or something like that. Under ‘Purchased’ was two front row tickets to see JUSTIN BIEBER IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA ON MAY 2, 2011. I started SCREAMING. I couldn’t believe I was going to see JUSTIN FREAKING BIEBER FRONT ROW. IN AUSTRALIA. So Friday, April 29, 2011, we flew 21 hours all the way to AUSTRALIA. I was seriously in so much shock I couldn’t even believe it. The concert was just incredible and I had an AMAZING time meeting tons of girls. I also met Kenny and Alfredo! And Moses! I was so excited and happy. Once I got home, I realized I probably would not meet him and became depressed. Two weeks after we got home, my dad found a Benefit Concert in the Bay Area of California on JUNE 11. Which was THREE DAYS before my fourteenth birthday. We had already agreed Australia was my present but once we found Meet and Greets for sale, that was the end of it. We HAD TO GO. One problem. The last meet and greet package for 2 had been sold two hours before we asked to buy them. I was devastated and upset the entire day. About a week and a half later, my dad surprised me saying we had GOTTEN THE MEET AND GREETS! I began shaking and sobbing, calling all of my friends. All of them were freaking out! Friday, June 10 came slowly, and soon we got on yet, ANOTHER PLANE for Justin Bieber! We flew to San Francisco. As soon as the clock hit midnight, I screamed “I’M MEETING JUSTIN BIEBER TODAY!” I woke up three times during the night feeling sick out of nervousness and woke up before 8 am. I got my hair done, and then went shopping, which is when a random guy looked at me and said, “Anything is possible if you just believe.” I kinda just nodded my head because I was extremely confused, but I knew it had to be a sign that the whole #NEVERSAYNEVER thing was completely true. I was so so so nervous and I barely ate anything the entire day. I literally was shaking for 24 hours in complete anticipation and nervousness that I was about to meet my idol and THE most famous person in the entire WORLD. I had an extra meet and greet pass and was trying to find someone to give it to, so when I saw that @BieberFitch was going to the concert. I immediately tweeted her saying I had an extra one! She was going with her friend who had never met him, but she had twice, so she wanted me to give it to Jazmyn instead! We got to the Saratoga Winery and I was waiting for them but they were running late so I left the M&G pass with someone else to give to Jazmyn. I got in line for the M&G. We all got in line. It was almost time. We were the next people to go in and meet him. I saw his shadow and started freaking out. When the guy opened the curtain I saw Justin and literally just froze. He pushed me and told me to go in. To calm my nerves, I went up to Kenny and said “Nice to meet you again, I met you last month in Australia!” and he said “Oh, nice to meet you again too!”. Then there was Justin. He told me to come get in the picture. I walked over to the right side of him and he put his arm around me. I remember how I felt. Like “Oh my God this is JUSTIN BIEBER TOUCHING ME.” It’s the coolest feeling in the world. I know I look kind of stupid in the picture, but I was so shocked. Before he even took his arm off me, I looked at him and asked for a hug. He said “Yes, of course!” and he moved his arm and gave me a really good hug. He felt so warm and he smelled absolutely AMAZING, like vanilla sort of? His short was so soft and I did NOT WANT TO LET GO. He let me go and I was just so giddy and happy and freaking out and then I had to walk away and I started yelling “Oh! By the way I went all the way to Australia last month just for your concert!” His eyes got big and he went “DID YOU LIKE IT?” with the most adorable look on his face and I screamed “YES!” and I’m like “Oh! I’m also from Minnesota!” and he said “Thank you so much!”. I walked out and started SOBBING and hyperventilating. Later, I met Scooter Braun, Carin, Jon M Chu (who signed my First Step 2 Forever book!), Dan Kanter, Ryan Good, MC Hammer, and MC’s sons! MC & one of his son’s also signed my book! I saw Kenny twice after that and said Hi both times, and I also saw his mom and Alfredo! Honestly, meeting Justin is the coolest feeling a person can feel. #NEVERSAYNEVER. At the Night For Hope benefit concert in Nashville last week, Clarkson surprised fans with a rendition of “You Still Won’t Know What It’s Like.” The single will be included on her new album, set for release in early 2011. Give it a listen now and chime in: What do you think? Kelly Clarkson: You Still Won’t Know What It’s Like

Sandra Bullock To Give First TV Interview Since Divorce

Actress will sit down with Matt Lauer in New Orleans for Tuesday’s ‘Today’ show. By Jocelyn Vena Sandra Bullock Photo: Ethan Miller/ WireImage Sandra Bullock has had an up-and-down year, between winning an Oscar , getting divorced from Jesse James amid cheating allegations and adopting a baby boy. Aside from an interview with People magazine and a few high-profile appearances — including her Generation Award win at the MTV Movie Awards — Bullock has remained pretty tight-lipped about her personal life. But on Tuesday, Bullock will have her first TV interview since the divorce, sitting down with the “Today” show’s Matt Lauer in New Orleans, Us Weekly reports. The news comes just days after it was revealed that Bullock is in talks to star in the big-screen adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s second novel, “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” alongside fellow Oscar winner Tom Hanks. As for her relationship with James , Bullock has said it is “a different one. A bittersweet one. One of new understanding. One of support for his recovery. One that changed my life.” She added: “I really don’t know how our paths will intersect in the future.” She has been open about the joys of being a mother to her young son, Louis Bardo. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives,” she had said about her nearly 8-month-old son. At the MTV Movie Awards back in June, Bullock made light of her personal life and famously kissed Scarlett Johansson. “No matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do,” she added with an emphatic finger wag. “And I’m not going anywhere.” Bullock has also been helping the victims of the Nashville floods, making a surprise appearance at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery . Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood Talk ‘Inspiring’ Nashville Rising Benefit Concert

‘I’m just really happy to be a part of it,’ Swift said of performing at Nashville benefit show. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Swift performs at the Nashville Rising Benefit Concert on Tuesday Photo: Ed Rode/ Nashville Rising/ Getty Images On Tuesday night, Taylor Swift joined forces with Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and even Sandra Bullock for the charity show Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery , at the Bridgestone Arena. The artists teamed up in an effort to raise money to help the Nashville area, which was devastated by floods earlier this spring. Taylor Swift explained that as soon as she heard there was a chance for her to help out , she jumped at it. “Thankfully the people that are close to me that lost their houses have found different places to live and I’ve really seen them help each other,” she said. “It’s been really inspiring. As soon as I even heard that they’re putting something together, I just volunteered and I said I want to do this and I want to help out. It’s really wonderful that Tim and Faith stepped to action so quickly. I’m just really happy to be a part of it.” Carrie Underwood said she was happy to help the city that has shown her music career so much support was heart-warming. “You hear everything from people losing possessions to entire houses being gone. I’ve heard of people living in tents in their backyard,” she said. “You just hear the worst of the worst and hope that in some way there’s something you can do about it. It is for a good cause so I feel like everyone has a happy giving. You look out there and everybody’s at their best.” Billy Ray Cyrus, with his superstar daughter Miley by his side, may have summed it up best. “You know it’s always great to come home. I’m sorry it’s under these circumstances, [but] to feel the energy from the crowd, the band — everybody’s coming together with a common cause,” he said of the evening. “It seemed to be quite a homecoming and for a good reason. I think that Nashville is going to survive this with their heads held high.” See the Nashville Rising website to learn more about what you can do to help with flood relief. Another Reason to Hate the Lakers

We hated the Los Angeles Lakers before this season even started. After all, Kobe Bryant is a selfish jerk and their fans are all celebrities, not exactly an underdog, long-suffering group of supporters that it’s easy to rally behind. Then, Lamar Odom went out and married Khloe Kardashian and our hatred for this team intensified. Still, give the Lakers credit for winning a seven-game series against the Celtics and taking home another NBA title last week. Now that you’ve done that… go ahead and hate them again! Khloe took part in the squad’s celebratory parade around Los Angeles this week, blogging : “Never in a million years did I anticipate it would be as crazy as it was, I was seriously in shock! The fan support was so overwhelming in the greatest way!” Khloe also bought her husband a $400,000 Rolls Royce for winning the championship, something every athlete with a $33 million contract needs. Isn’t it nice to see Kardashian using the money she’s earned – from reading scripts and posing for photos – in such a meaningful way? Hopefully, Ty Lawson convinces Kim Kardashian to have sex with him this off-season and the Denver Nuggets win it all next year.

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift Rise Up for Nashville

Darn you, Miley Cyrus! This is the second consecutive day you’ve done something to force our praise, rather than our scorn. Yesterday, we gave you props for wearing pants and delivering an important message to fans . Now, we must acknowledge the role you played last night at Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery. The event was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee and raised money for victims of massive storms in that area earlier this year. Said Miley, unfortunately bringing the tragedy back to herself: “We have a big farm with crops and I think that was affected a little bit. The scariest thing was not being able to get in touch with people because the phone lines were down.” As seen above, Taylor Swift also played a role in the concert. She said of the flooding: “For me, the fact that there were members of my band that lost their homes really affected me because those are my friends. Those are the people I call up as soon as we get home. The fact that it affected my band, that’s the most directly it affected me.” Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood , ZZ Top and Miranda Lambert also performed at the event. Below, check out more photos of Miley and Taylor from it:

Taylor Swift Talks Nashville Flood Benefit With Miley Cyrus

‘Nashville is really being rebuilt, and everybody’s been so wonderful,’ Swift tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Swift Photo: MTV News On Tuesday night (June 22), Taylor Swift will be one of the many Nashville superstars on hand for Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery . The singer, who lives in the area, will join the night’s hosts, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill , as they raise money to help the area devastated by floods earlier this spring. Swift said she and her band weren’t immune to the destruction. “The flood definitely affected all of Nashville. You know, for me, the fact that there were members of my band that lost their homes really affected me, because those are my friends,” she told MTV News. “Those are the people I call up as soon as we get home. The fact that it affected my band, that’s the most directly it affected me.” While some of her bandmates have struggled to get their feet back on the ground, Swift said, “Thankfully, my home wasn’t damaged, but seeing people that I’ve known for years trying to figure out where they’re going to stay, it was really painful to watch. Nashville is really being rebuilt, and everybody’s been so wonderful.” Swift, who donated $500,000 to help the area back in May, will be joined by fellow teen queen Miley Cyrus , who had her big Can’t Be Tamed coming-out party Monday night, as well as country stars like Carrie Underwood, Brooks & Dunn, LeAnn Rimes, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride. The show is set to take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Funds will go to the Community Foundation, which provides philanthropic services in Middle Tennessee. Casey James Will Have A ‘Big Career’ After ‘American Idol,’ Pal Says

But Danny Ross hasn’t written off James’ finale chances yet: ‘You can’t underestimate the women of America.’ By Gil Kaufman Casey James Photo: FOX It’s a bit late in the season for the usual conspiracy theories to arise, but there’s something about the way the “American Idol” finale is shaping up that has given Casey James’ supporters pause. “I don’t know, I think there’s something prejudicial going on, where it just seems like they’re stacking the deck against him,” said Danny Ross, owner of the Fort Worth blues club Keys Lounge, where the top-three “Idol” finisher has jammed on and off for the past two years. On Wednesday afternoon (May 19), Ross said he thought James did well on Tuesday night’s show , but he just couldn’t shake the feeling that the show’s producers were trying to steer America toward a Lee DeWyze/ Crystal Bowersox showdown . “The John Mayer song [‘Daughters’] was not as dynamic as [Bowersox’s] ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ or [DeWyze’s] ‘Hallelujah,’ but, gosh, I’ve played with Casey, and I know talent when I see it, and Casey is one of the only guys I sit in with at the club,” he said. “I didn’t see any signs for Casey in the audience and not many for Crystal but a lot for Lee. Casey came in here last week and did a set like nothing had changed, and I had people say that if he played like that on TV, it wouldn’t be any competition.” Ross has been in the business a long time and considers himself a good judge of talent, and he said he thinks DeWyze is a good singer and Bowersox has “a hell of a voice,” but neither can front a band the way James can or rip off the kinds of bluesy guitar solos he’s seen Casey play in his club. So while he sees an uphill climb for his prot

Mario’s Next Album To Include Electro Sounds

‘It’s incredible how house music influences R&B nowadays,’ the R&B singer says of his upcoming album. By Jayson Rodriguez Mario Photo: MTV News First, Ne-Yo found inspiration in the electro blasting throughout clubs overseas, dabbling with the sounds on his last album, Year of the Gentleman. Then Will.I.am, Kelis, and a slew of other R&B acts followed. Consider Mario the latest act hooked by house music. “The new album right now, I’m just focused on the album,” the singer told MTV News backstage at Chris Brown’s “Virginia Stand Up! A Call to Action” benefit concert on Saturday. The Baltimore native explained that the genre’s grooves were just too appealing not to flirt with on his upcoming project. “Stay tuned. I just came back from Europe — it’s crazy out there,” Mario said. “I just did a DJ/ house [music] tour in Europe; I did like 10 days. It was a huge thing, like 15,000-seat venue. It was incredible to see how many people are into house music and R&B music, and how house music influences R&B nowadays. You know, [it has a] real strong presence … over there.” The collection, due this summer, according to Mario, would be his fifth album and the follow-up to last year’s set, D.N.A. That project spawned the hit “Break Up,” featuring Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett. Mario’s yet-untitled album is tentatively slated to include a guest appearance by Chris Brown, though nothing has been confirmed so far. Mario said the two crooners recently spent time together in a Los Angeles studio — though admittedly Brown was working with Keri Hilson and not him — and the pair have high hopes to get something recorded between them soon. “For the ladies,” he said with a smile.
