Nick Viall vs. William Shatner: Unexpected Feud Alert!

As The Bachelor this past season, Nick Viall had to overcome drunk women, surprise announcements and the criticism that came along with having slept with, like, 37 past franchise contestants. But that was nothing. Viall handled it well. He’s now up against a far stronger foe than anything he faced on The Bachelor: William Shatner. For hilarious reasons that remain unknown, the beloved ex-Star Trek actor has made it his mission to get Viall kicked off Dancing with the Stars. Prior to the Season 24 premiere airing on Monday night, Shatner Tweeted the following: “My goal for #DWTS is to knock Bachelor Nick out ASAP. Who is with me?” He later added: “Whoever your favorite is – just not Nick- make the 10 phone calls for them.” Was Shatner on Team Rachel Lindsay or Team Raven Gates and is angry that Viall proposed instead to Vanessa Grimaldi on The Bachelor finale? It’s unclear. Along with partner Peta Murgatroyd, Viall earned a surprisingly decent a score of 24 out of 40 from the judges on Monday evening. He then told Us Weekly after the show that Grimaldi has been “very supportive” throughout the journey. The same can most definitely NOT be said about Shatner, however. “How do we get #BachelorNation to not vote for Nick?” he Tweeted after the premiere. When a fan said that Nick actually ought to win so that he doesn’t return on future seasons – a reference to the four Bachelor franchise programs he’s already appeared on – Shatner replied: “No! He needs to go next week.” The guy is not messing around. And he apparently uses the Internet to watch The Bachelor online every week or his television set to watch it during regular hours. Shatner is clearly well aware of Viall’s history and reputation. Shatner also referred to Viall as “Vile,” asked for his elimination to be Shatner’s “birthday present” and denied that he was bullying the reality star in any way. As for Peta? Shatner has no problem with her. “Peta, you know I love you. Congratulations on becoming a mommy,” he wrote at one point. “Just can’t cheer you on this season. Love to Maks & Shia.” What was left for Viall to say about this onslaught? Not much. So he just went with a sad face emoji in response: What do you think of Shatner’s all-out war on Nick Viall? Is it deserved? Is it over the top? Is it funny? Is it cruel? We somehow doubt Viall will win Dancing with the Stars, or even come close, so Shatner can probably sit back, relax and just enjoy the show. There are other DWTS controversies he can weigh in on instead if he so chooses. Choose a side in this unexpected feud and then scroll through the following photos to determine who you think will come out on top at the end of Season 24… View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars Season 24: Meet the Full Cast!

Chuck Barris Dies; Legendary Game Show Host Was 87

Chuck Barris, the host and creator of The Gong Show, died Tuesday of natural causes at his home in Palisades, New York. He was 87 years old. The sad news has been confirmed by Barris’ publicist, Paul Shefrin. Barris made game show history in 1966 when he came up with the idea for The Dating Game, which was hosted by Jim Lange and which is still mentioned or parodied today on shows such as Saturday Night Live. The gimmick behind this show was simple: A young female (or male) contestant questioned three suitors of the opposite gender, each of whom was hidden from her view, in order to determine which would be the most ideal date. In nearly every case, the questions were designed by the show’s writers to elicit sexy/seductive/revealing answers. Such stars (or future stars) who appeared as guests included: Michael Jackson Arnold Schwarzenegger Steve Martin Farrah Fawcett, who was introduced as “an accomplished artist and sculptress” because she appeared prior to her big acting break in Charlie’s Angels. The game show quickly became a sensation on daytime and primetime television, leading to the creation of The Newlywed Game, The Parent Game, The Family Game and even The Game Game. At one point, Barris was responsible to television networks for 27 hours of entertainment a week, mostly in five-days-a-week daytime game shows. Game Show Network still airs a episodes of The Newlywed Game, which aired for 19 years. Between 1976 and 1980, Barris hosted The Gong Show himself, a talent competition that featured various acts (think America’s Got Talent) on stage and a panel of judges. If a judge did not like a certain act, he or she could ring a giant gong and the contestant on stage would be given the boot. In 1984, the native of Philadelphia wrote an autobiography titled “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind: An Unauthorized Biography.” It chronicled his alleged double life as a CIA assassin and was made into a 2002 movie that starred Sam Rockwell and which marked the directorial debut of George Clooney. Many believes that Barris had made this claim up, however. “It sounds like he has been standing too close to the gong all those years,” said CIA spokesman Tom Crispell, adding: “Chuck Barris has never been employed by the CIA and the allegation that he was a hired assassin is absurd.” Criticized by some throughout his professional run as “The Baron of Bad Taste,” Barris did well for himself in the end: he sold his company for $100 million in 1980. On the personal front, Barris’s first marriage, to Lynn Levy, ended in divorce. Their daughter, Della, tragically died of a drug overdose in 1998. He married his third wife, Mary, in 2000. Erika Girardi Suffers Epic Meltdown: Watch the Tears Flow!

Erika Girardi has had herself quite the week. On Monday evening, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star made her debut on Dancing with the Stars, entering on board a unicorn, descending a flight of silver glittery stairs and then doing this on stage: Then, on Tuesday night, the Bravo actress was featured in one of the most unexpected breakdowns in show history.  During a trip to Hong Kong, Girardi was reduced to anger and tears after good friend Eileen Davidson tried to smooth things over between Erika and Dorit after their blowout on the junk boat. “She didn't kill your child,” Davidson told Giradi, attempting to put their argument into perspective. But this comment simply shifted gears in Erika's mind to her son, who is a police officer and whose life is therefore on the line with every shift. “Hey, Eileen, let's not do that,” Girardi shot back. “And don't ever bring up killing my child again because my child could get killed.” Davidson said many times that she didn't mean her remark like that… but it was too late. “Eileen, your kid doesn't put on a uniform every night and put his life out on the line for people he doesn't know,” Erika said, growing more and more emotional. Lisa Rinna went over to console Girardi, but the tears were flowing and the pressure of everything was too much to bear. She cursed at Davidson and she continued to tell everyone to never bring up her child again. “I'm very proud of my son being in law enforcement, but obviously it can get a little nerve racking,” Erika has previously said to Bravo, adding: “It’s a dangerous profession. I've known my son was going to be in law enforcement from the time he could walk and talk. That's all he’s ever wanted and that's kind of your role as a parent is to honor who your children really are.” Follow this link to watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online in order to view this entire, intense episode. Watch Ya Mouf: Former Playboy Playmate Calls Van Jones A “House N-Word” On Twitter

Former Trump Upsets All Of Twitter By Calling Van Jones A House Ni**er We’re so confused… This Ariane Bellamar character effed up royally Tuesday night when she decided to call Van Jones out of his name, all while proclaiming his capabilities. Ariane is a former Trump model and Playboy Playmate who now proudly proclaims in her Twitter bio that she’s been blocked by Trump. Did she pee on him? Ariane’s “famous” as a former “Beverly Hills Nannies” reality star turned Twitter activist apparently, but somehow she has yet to learn that freedom of speech doesn’t extend use of the n-word to bubble-brained white girls who happen to be wannabe allies.  The good news is, in the words of Kevin Hart… She gone learn today! After that 2 AM tweet the dragging commenced rather swiftly and it went on and on and on. She must have slept in this morning because the longer the tweet remained up, the more commentary it gathered. Yes there’s more. Hit the flip because it definitely continues.

Kim Kardashian Cries Over Robbery: "They’re Gonna Shoot Me!"

So much for sitting down with 60 Minutes. Or for writing a heartfelt blog post. For the first time since being robbed at gunpoint by multiple armed assailants in Paris, Kim Kardashian has spoken out on the frightening incident. And she's done so in the most predictable way possible: on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. We don't mean to make light of what was truly a life-altering, unimaginable situation. Sources have said that Kardashian thought she would be raped or killed in the early morning of October 3 while hurled out of bed by robbers in masks. She was tied up and gagged and begged for her telling the criminals that she had two young children at home. We cannot fathom what she went through. But you'll forgive us for being a bit disappointed that E! is now using this crime to promote new episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which returns in March. In the following promo, Kim breaks down in tears multiple times, first while discussing the robbery and the thought that kept going through her head. “They're going to shoot me in the back,” she says in hysterics, recalling the incident. “There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.” Elsewhere, we see her react (or pretend to react; come on, there's no way cameras just happened to be rolling at this exact time) when learning that Kanye West has been hospitalized for a nervous breakdown. “Don't scare me, please. What's going on?” Kim says, crying over the phone. She later says to the camera or to someone nearby: “I think he really needs me, and I have to get home.” It's been a jarring few months for Kim Kardashian, that's for certain. She just recently made a return to social media (see slideshow, above) and is clearly now okay using her near-death experience to earn ratings for her family's reality show. So she's mostly back to normal! That's a good thing. Visit our friends at TV Fanatic to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians prior to the show's return this spring… … AND CHECK OUT THE PROMO BELOW:

Brandi Glanville: Lisa Rinna is a Bald Anorexic!

It’s been almost two years since Brandi Glanville was fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . But that doesn’t mean she’s done delivering drama or going off on her former castmates.  Far from it, in fact. This week, it seems Brandi’s target of choice is Lisa Rinna. The cause of her latest feud isn’t entirely clear, but it probably has something to do with the fact that Rinna referred to Glanville as a bully on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Not long after the episode aired, Brandi let Lisa have it (and arguably proved her right) with a series of scathing tweets: “I do not think of u or refer to u & trust me when I leave this world I will be known for more than an eating disorder & a BAD wig,” Brandi wrote. “Get some new material stop using mine!!! Have a wonderful day!” Unnecessarily harsh? Absolutely. But that’s also some top-notch roasting. Brandi skipped over the easy target ( Rinna’s lips ) and went straight for the less obvious burns. Does Rinna really wear a wig? Probably not, but you can bet we’ll be watching for it on RHOBH every damn week now. The key is that Brandi delivered her disses with the authority of an insider. She and Rinna were on the show together in Season 5, so when one of them makes a claim we’ve never heard before about the other, it has more credence than when some random troll talks smack. To be clear: it’s not even remotely cool of Brandi to mock Rinna for having an eating disorder (whether or not she actually has one is immaterial in this case). We’re just giving her credit for her masterful ability to remain in the spotlight. Unfortunately for Brandi, it seems Lisa saw this for what it was. She has yet to reply to Glanville’s online taunts, probably because she knows doing so would only keep this story in the gossip blogs. Lisa knows not responding is the greatest diss of all, so you can bet she’ll continue to do exactly that. What you have here is two professionals offering a master’s class in shade-throwing. Take notes, kids.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 3 Recap: Going Commando

There was a trip to New York, Lisa Vanderpump being called out and some nudity drama for Erika Girardi on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 3 .  All of which resulted in a thrilling episode of this hit Bravo series that continues to be one of the best in the franchise.  Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 3 Online We kicked things off with Lisa Rinna on her way to New York with daughter, Amelia. Lisa’s business in New York appeared to stem from her other daughter, Delilah’s attempts to make a modeling career for herself.  Kyle Richards was also in New York, preparing to open a store. She had her daughter, Sophia with her. Lisa R decided to stop by Kyle’s store and it was far from complete.  In fact, you’d never believe it was ever going to be a store. It looked like trash. Lisa R revealed to Kyle that she was trying her best to mend fences with Lisa Vanderpump.  She was tired of the animosity between the group. Kyle seemed to think this was a great idea, before Lisa R disappeared to meet someone about Delilah’s modeling career.  Meanwhile, Lisa V was trying to find a gift for Ken. Normally, all Ken seems to receive are gifts for the dog, but it seemed like Lisa V wanted to go for something different this time round.  Dorit Kemsley accompanied the SUR boss, who inevitably settled on giving her husband a watch for his birthday. Ken seemed shocked at it, but was happy.  When Dorit returned home, she revealed that she was having some struggles with motherhood and relied heavily on the nannies to help her with the kids.  Dorit tried to take the kids to the park, but when one of them went crazy in the car, she decided it was best to just stay home with them.  Later, most of the group attended a white party at Pump. View Slideshow: Real Housewives All Stars: Who Should Be Cast? Kyle was quick to start things off by making it clear she was better than everyone else.  She told them she had booked Alicia Silverstone for a project about her own upbringing. Yeah, because you just had to reveal that at that moment, Kyle.  Erika then spoke about her nerves about appearing on Eileen’s show because she was nervous about what to expect. Lisa revealed she tried to get a part on it, but was not successful.  The group then started making comments about Lisa’s age. She did not take it in bad taste, but Erika seemed pretty pissed that Lisa chimed in.  “Let’s get fake British accents and start insulting people!” That was not the end of the argument, either, but the rest of it seemed to focus on Erika’s lack of underwear. It was difficult to make sense of it.  Yes, they’re all still friends.  What did you think of all the drama? Sound off below! View Slideshow: 19 Real Housewives Who Only Lasted One Season
