Williams’s foundation has reportedly paid for over 500 mammograms in Pittsburgh, Memphis, Charlotte and Jonesboro, Arkansas since 2015. He began the free screening program, “53 Strong for Sandra,” as a tribute to his mother after she died at the age of 53. The former NFL player has also lost four aunts to breast cancer. Source: Westend61 / Getty Black High School Student Exposes White Peers Racist Online Group Chat 14-year-old Cenayia Edwards is a freshman at East Wake High School in Wendell, N.C. and she is not here for white people ‘s clandestine bigotry. According to ABC11 , Cenayia actually posed as a white student in order to gain access to a violently racist group chat that her peers were participating in online. One of the freshman’s white friends put her on to the chat and Cenayia quickly devised a plan to expose all of them for their cowardly and dangerous behavior. When 14-year old Cannaya found out about the racist group chat some of her Wake County classmates were using, she infiltrated it, then she exposed it. When she was allowed access to the group chat, she says she was horrified. The chat was full of messages like “Pullin triggers and shootin n——,”and “Kill n—– babies.” One person wrote, “#bring slavery back.” Another person debated whether their screen name should be “Black slayer.” And when Cenayia called out her classmates for the racist talk, one person replied with a cartoon meme of a penguin with a gun along with the words, “Shut up n—–.” The parents notified the school of the activity but thus far they are very unsatisfied with the “investigation” that has taken place. So far, very little, if any, consequences have been doled out and if there have been, the school will not say what those consequences are. Jared Otte’s grandmother refused to give him the money he was demanding, so Jared pushed her down on the bed, held her down, raiser her dress and removed $10 from her undergarments according to the police report. The elderly woman was bruised during the struggle. Jared has been charged with felony robbery and is being held on $10,000 bail. People. Ain’t S#!T.

Talks Jay-Z and Jermaine Dupri Working With The NFL Black folks have been side-eyeing the crap out of Jay-Z after he got in bed with the NFL for what felt like a shady (and pointless) partnership . Now, T.I. is weighing in on Hov’s decision, as well as Jermaine Dupri ‘s choice to partner with the Super Bowl when it was in Atlanta . But FIRST, in the exclusive Radio One clip the Rhythm + Flow host talks about becoming more involved with the community, saying he’s careful about categorizing himself as an activist … and here’s why: “I’m active, but I’m not an activist. I feel like an activist is more philanthropic. I’m in the for-profit biz. Activists are boots on the ground, they out doing the work, mobilizing, organizing, and sacrificing luxuries for the purpose of the greater good…” he explained. On Jay-Z and JD, he commented: “You see, at the time, my reason for not rocking with the NFL was because of how I felt they were manipulating the culture. I felt that they knew that Black dollars were important. Therefore, they came to Atlanta and I felt like they went all the wrong places and did all the wrong things to encourage the Black dollar at that moment in time. I feel like it wasn’t enough fair representation. JD was a good go, but I felt like it came after the slight — after I feel like we’d already been slighted — so, you know, he took a hard stand at it. I didn’t condemn him or criticize him for it. I told him I couldn’t participate.
