Making It Rain On Them GOP Hoes: Strippers In A Florida Club Say The Republican Convention Is Sure To Bring In The Big Bucks

Red or Blue, the only color these ladies are worried about is GREEN!! Florida Strippers Believe Republican Convention Will Make Them Big Money Go-Go and Ezili are dancing cheek to cheek on a Friday night. That is to say they’re spinning, glute to glute, on a polished chrome pole at a strip club. A thunderstorm leaves puddles in the parking lot under a sign that boasts “OMG! These girls are hot!” The strippers try to “make it rain” inside, too: When patrons approve of their gyrations by slipping credit cards into machines that look like ATMs, the sound of recorded thunder rolls across the stage. Sure enough, $1 bills flutter from the ceiling onto the twirling twosome. The joint is all mirrors, throbbing music, flashing neon and spotlights. Voluptuous young women wearing G-strings, stiletto heels and not much else teeter over the spanking new, Day-Glo acid trip of a carpet. But there’s no liquor served here, because in Tampa they can’t offer both booze and totally naked women under the same roof. Speaking of the roof, there’s a spaceship up there that features $80 semiprivate “quick launch” lap dances. After the 10-minute show, which includes a gravity-defying “death lay” against the mirrored ceiling, Go-Go retires to another mirrored room, where she boots up a laptop and chats with fans online via a program called “Club Cam.” Ezili, who is studying to be a dental assistant, strolls in clutching two fat stacks of dollar bills — $85 for her and $85 for Go-Go after the house takes its cut. Not bad, but they’re hoping for a whole lot more when the Republicans come to town Monday. They’re counting on the GOP convention to make it rain for a whole week. These clubs aren’t just sitting idly by and WAITING for wealthy politicians, they are going after them! Many clubs have taken out ads inviting GOP delegates “to party like a liberal” in a city where the “poles are open all night.” City officials say the convention, expected to draw more than 50,000 visitors, could be Tampa’s biggest party ever. Imagine all those rainmakers. A strip club with a spaceship on the roof seems an odd place to expect Republicans. At first blush, one might not equate lap dances with the political party that wraps itself in buttoned-down family values. But at convention time, even upstanding men seem to seek out undressed women. When the Christian group Promise Keepers held a convention in Tampa a couple of years ago, attendees flooded the 2001 Odyssey, co-owner Jim Kleinhans recalls. They had such a good time that “they kept their promise to come back the next night.” Many male convention-goers, regardless of political stripe, are drawn to the sexual underground, according to a study conducted by Baylor University business professor Scott Cunningham. He examined sex ads placed online around the time of the 2008 conventions in St. Paul, Minnesota, and Denver. Ads for prostitutes and escorts jumped 25% to 40%. Cunningham offers a range of possible explanations — chief among them anonymity, or what he calls “the reduced likelihood of future shaming.” “Reduced likelihood” our a$$! It’s all fun and games until Xotica sends her story to a blog or newspaper. But play on playas, have the time of your lives, just make sure you wash the glitter off of your face before you go home. For Discussion: Should Weezy Throw Out An Apology For Dissin’ New York?

New York Senator Malcom Smith isn’t too cool with Lil Wayne right now. He’s called Weezy out and is asking fellow New Yorker Nicki Minaj to step in and encourage Wayne to apologize. The offending comment, via MTV, was brief: “Flat out: I don’t like New York,” Wayne said Monday when he was asked how performing with Minaj in the city went last week. Smith responded swiftly, issuing a statement slamming Wayne and praising New York as “the birthplace of the Hip Hop music movement.” Smith, who recently helped promote an anti-gun initiative in the city, also slammed Wayne’s 2007 gun possession arrest, which resulted in the rapper serving eight months on Rikers Island. At a Times Square press conference Wednesday, Smith’s crusade continued. He railed against Wayne for making money in New York while bashing it and alleged the rapper’s comments had also insulted the likes of Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z, because both men had “made endearing” songs about the city. Charles Fisher of the Hip Hop Summit Youth Council also expressed concern that Wayne’s comments could spark a rap war, Politicker reported. “Sixteen years ago, Tupac Shakur was murdered, and Biggie Smalls came right after that….We can’t afford to have a war between New York and the South. Lil Wayne is out of Atlanta, grew up in New Orleans,” Fisher said. “It is my hope and I believe and I want to believe that he had a lapse in mental judgement for some strange reason and I hope that he will think about it,” Smith said. “New Yorkers are forgiving people. We’re prepared to forgive Lil Wayne if, in fact, he makes a sincere apology.” Let us know what you think. Does Smith have a point or is he a little sensitive? Source Images via Twitter/WENN

A “Lil Positivity”: Amar’e Stoudemire’s New Book Series Is All About The Kidz

Amar’e Stoudemire’s got a new gig. The NBA player recently wrote a children’s book series and it’s all about encouraging young boys (and girls) to reach their goals. Co-written by Stoudemire with the Scholastic team, the New York Knicks captain’s first book of the series, Home Court , is about his life as a 6’11″ middle school student who plays basketball, baseball and football with his friends in Lake Wales, the small Florida city where he grew up. According to a Scholastic spokesperson, the series is likely to be ongoing, although just three books have been commissioned to date. Eleven-year-old Amar’e Stoudemire has a lot going on. He loves to go skateboarding in the park. He takes his school work very seriously. He helps out with his dad’s landscaping company. And he likes to play basketball with his best friends—but just for fun. When a group of older kids start disrespecting his boys on their neighborhood basketball court, there is only one solution. Amar’e must step in and use his athletic ability and intelligence to save the day. This experience leads Amar’e to realize that basketball is his true passion. STAT is based on the life of All-Star NBA sensation Amar’e Stoudemire, who overcame many obstacles to become one of the most popular figures in sports today. “Kids need to enjoy reading and not see it as a chore,” said Stoudemire, a “proud father of three” who says he didn’t read enough as a child and is now “always” reading to his kids (ages 7, 5 and 4). He said he wrote STAT to give kids more opportunities to read books for fun. The books are just part of Stoudemire’s efforts to promote child literacy. The Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation works to “creatively inspire young people to avoid poverty through education.” “It gives a lot of messages about the responsibility of working and doing homework and learning to be leaders with my friends and be a positive influence,” said Stoudemire. Big ups to Amar’e for helpin out the kidz and encouraging them to reach their goals. Source Images via WENN/Twitter

Come On Mike: Former Presidential Candidate Huckabee Claims “‘Forcible Rapes Create ‘Extraordinary’ People”

In what we’d call the worst defense for Todd Akin to-date, Mike Huckabee spit some ridic statements. Standing by the side of the Republican candidate, former Presidential runner-up Mike Huckabee tried to explain why Women shouldn’t have an abortion…even if the conception of their unborn child was created because of rape! Huckabee used his syndicated radio program Monday to give the embattled candidate a safe venue to express remorse and his determination to remain in the race. Huckabee also took the opportunity to cast the best possible light on Akin’s awkward position. The former Arkansas governor and onetime GOP presidential contender suggested a couple of cases in which he suggested that rapes, though “horrible tragedies,” had produced admirable human beings. “Ethel Waters, for example, was the result of a forcible rape,” Huckabee said of the late American gospel singer. One-time presidential candidate Huckabee added: “I used to work for James Robison back in the 1970s, he leads a large Christian organization. He, himself, was the result of a forcible rape. And so I know it happens, and yet even from those horrible, horrible tragedies of rape, which are inexcusable and indefensible, life has come and sometimes, you know, those people are able to do extraordinary things.” We think this fool needs to check himself so he can come correct on Women’s Issues. We all have a choice but it seems they (repubs) seem to forget that we can make decisions for ourselves. Source Images via WENN

Hi Hater: Another White Musician Spits Hateful Isht At Barack…”He Hates The U.S. And We Hate Him!”

Country singer Hank Williams Jr. threw out some pretty ridiculous comments during a show on Friday. No surprise that the musician got cheers from the white crowd after he announced on-stage that Obama’s an America-hating Muslim. The country star, who caused a stir last year by comparing President Barack Obama to Hitler, unleashed more sensational criticism of the Commander in Chief at the Iowa State Fair. According to the Des Moines Register Williams told the crowd: “We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!” The controversial comments went over well with the crowd, which responded with cheers. Williams has a history of speaking his mind about Obama. Last year, ESPN dropped Williams’ “All My Rowdy Friends” from its Monday Night Football broadcast after he appeared on Fox & Friends and criticized House Speaker John Boehner for playing golf with the president, calling it “one of the biggest political mistakes ever.” “It’s like Hitler playing golf with [Israel Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu,” he said. This past week has seen a lot of different musicians speak out for and against the Presidential candidates and we respect everyone’s opinion. We’re tired of the anti-Muslim, hateful isht that some people keep throwin’ at Obama though. Source Images via WENN

White Women Catching Fade: Scrap Breaks Out When Woman Spits On Romney Supporter At Wisconsin Rally! [Video]

Woman Spitting on Romney Supporter at Wisconsin Rally! Big Fight On Friday, a protester disrupted a meeting between Republican Wisconsin state Sen. Alberta Darling and her constituency. After interrupting the meeting, the protester was shouted down and resorted to spitting on the Darling supporters who argued with her. As she was ushered out of the event, Darling’s supporters began spontaneously chanting Mitt Romney’s name. In a video published by the The Appleton Post-Crescent and republished in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Darling’s campaign appearance is disrupted by a protester who has been identified as Mary Hoglund. Hoglund interrupts Darling’s speech to ask her why she supports taking funds away from Planned Parenthood. When Hoglund is asked to wait by a frustrated Darling supporter, she spits in her face. A quick brawl ensued in which Hoglund claims that she was scratched. The Journal-Sentinel reports that the event was organized by Romney’s campaign. The incident occurred at an event called “Wisconsin Women for Mitt.” Darling said it was unfortunate that the meeting was disrupted but said people were “energized and enthusiastic” about the Romney-Paul Ryan ticket. The Journal-Sentinel notes that the event was also attended by Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch. youtube

Shady Azz Wanksters: 57 CEO’s Each Saved At Least A Milli Last Year Thanks To Bush Tax Cuts

57 CEO’s Saved At Least A Million Last Year Due To Bush Taxes We thought this was some pertinent information for illustrating why the Bush tax cuts need to end RIGHT NOW. The Bush tax cuts, again, are set to expire at the end of the year, and President Obama has promised to veto any extension of the cuts on income in excess of $250,000. Of course, Republicans are opposed to anything but a complete extension. In a new report, the Institute for Policy Studies shows just how unnecessary the tax breaks on high income are, noting that last year, 57 of the top 100 CEOs in the country saved more than $1 million due to the Bush tax cuts alone: – CEOs have benefited enormously from the Bush tax cuts for upper-income taxpayers. Last year, 57 CEOs saved more than $1 million on their personal income tax bills, thanks to these Bush-era cuts. – The top CEO beneficiary of the Bush tax cuts in 2011, James Mulva of ConocoPhillips, saved $6.7 million. Mulva cashed in more than $140 million in stock options in his last year at the energy company’s helm. IPS added, “All the CEOs on this list certainly saved significantly more from the Bush tax cuts than the sums listed here, since they had additional income from other sources, including their investments.” In recent decades, CEO pay has absolutely skyrocketed, leaving worker pay far behind. It would take the typical American worker 244 years to earn what the average CEO now makes in one year. Over the last 30 years, CEO pay has increased 127 times faster than worker pay. And at the same time, taxes on the rich have gone down further and further, further exacerbating already high income inequality. SMH. This ish right here makes us want to holler. Source Shutterstock
