One of the judges at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which aired last night on ESPN, is apparently a huge fan of rapper Kelis and/or milkshakes. He randomly quoted her classic track when asked to use a word in a sentence … while not using the word in question. It was pretty outstanding: Spelling Bee Judge LOVES Kelis, Quotes Milkshake The judge, Dr. Jacques Bailly (1980 National Spelling Bee champion!) was supposed to be using “feijoada” in a sentence, by request from the finalist. Instead, he BROKE IT DOWN, saying “While Tabitha discovered that her milkshake brought all the boys to the yard …” and then cut himself off. Cue the confused, awkward quasi-laughter. The contestant went on to spell the word, which apparently is a Brazilian stew, correctly before the big event ran out of words and ended in a tie . Kelis was reportedly too busy bringing the boys to the yard and determining if she has to charge for her serves to be reached for comment at press time. The opening episode centered around Sugar Bear needing his own space, especially when talked to maxi pads and when Pumpkin turned the house into her own beauty parlor. Enter The Manper. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Sex Talk This monstrosity was parked in the driveway, much to June Shannon’s outrage, as the woman who “wears the stretch pants” in the family insisted she’d force her now-husband to get rid of it. In the end, though, we were reminded why this show is actually a hit: there’s real love and life lessons behind the farting and the road kill. Sugar Bear agreed to park his Manper in the backyard and admitted that he truly does enjoy spending time with the girls. And to prove it, he went out and bought them some maxi pads. How sweet. We guess. On the second new installment, June made it clear to her daughters: She would not be a grandmother again any time soon. So it was time to talk about the birds, the bees… and the Fruit Loops? Yes, because, well, see… “A girl meets this boy, they fall in love … and the boys try to get in girls’ fruit loops,” she explained to Lauryn, Anna and Jessica. “A fruit loop is your biscuit, a woman’s vaginal area.” Ah, okay. Fortunately, Alana was off at cheerleader camp during this chat about how tasty breakfast treats can lead to babies nine months down the road. “No, my mama did not talk about sex, birds and the bees, flowers and the trees to me, no,” June told the camera later on, shocking exactly nobody. “And I guess that’s why I don’t like to talk to my kids about it.” That’s also why she uses euphemisms for body parts, such as “ting tangs,” “weed wackers” and the “bungalow.” Sugar Bear, meanwhile, has an even better talk with the boyfriends, telling them in hilariously simple terms: “You guys are getting close to my girls like two roaches on a bacon bit,” and “these girls can be nuttier than a port-a-potty at a peanut festival,” concluding with words we can all take to heart in our love lives: “Treat ‘em with respect – don’t make ‘em cry.”

Looks like Jersey Shore’s goin’ country in Party Down South, CMT’s new show from Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano, premiering Thursday, January 16. The reality program follows the drinking and drama of eight Southern guys and girls as they summer on the South Carolina coast … sound familiar? CMT adds, on the show’s official website, that the premise of Party Down South is following “eight young, brazen adults for one wild summer of extreme fun.” “Their summer vacation spot, Murrells Inlet, S.C., may never be the same after these fast friends work, party and bond with one another over their common love of the South.” Fist-pump … or Southern equivalent? Basically, CMT is taking the Jersey Shore formula that made stars out of Snooki , Sitch, Pauly D , JWoww and the gang from the Seaside Heights cesspool. Cast members include Ryan (aka “Daddy”), “a 33-year-old southern ladies man from Orange Beach, Ala., [with] better luck hunting women than deer.” According to his official show bio, “Daddy” has an appetite for courting danger and “he never leaves home without his best friend, the beer funnel.” Awesome. And meet Taylor Wright (aka “Lil Bit”), 23, a lightning rod “who, despite her petite build, isn’t afraid to stand her ground and make sure her voice is heard.” “A native of Rockingham, N.C., Lil Bit loves guns and her Bible … so much so that she sleeps with one hand on each of those items every night.” “She tends to the voice of reason, yet her reason is definitely off and skewed,” Salsano tells the New York Post of her Southern-fried firecracker. In the first, Jenner – who gave fans a close look at her cleavage last month – zeroed in on her bare belly, giving followers a close-up of her midsection in a crop top: In the second, Kylie is donning fishnet stockings and sitting behind the wheel of her $125,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV. Neither picture came with a caption attached… because they really do speak for themselves, don’t they? Hi. This is pretty much as moving as it gets. Earlier this month, KSTZ in Des Moines received a letter written by Brenda Schmitz, a mother of four and the late wife of a man named David. She passed away two years ago from ovarian cancer. Prior to her death, however, Brenda instructed a friend to send her message to the radio station – specifically during its “Christmas Wish” program – after David found someone else with whom to share his life. “I have a wish for David and the boys and the woman and her family if she has kids also,” Brenda writes in the letter, which is read aloud in the following footage. “I want them to know I love them very much and they always feel safe in a world of pain.” Brenda goes on to outline a trio of wishes for David and his new fiancee, all of which were actually granted by local sponsors. Day 26 feels like they have one more struggle hit left in them. Day 26 To Reunite Day 26 needs to pull a “Wizard of Oz” and click their Air Jordans together three times and pray for another hit. According to TMZ: Day 26 — the boy band masterminded by Sean “Diddy” Combs on MTV’s “Making the Band 4″ — IS TOTALLY REUNITING FOR A NEW TOUR … TMZ has learned. A rep for Day 26 tells us … the band, which was handpicked by Diddy on the 2007 show, is planning a 30-city tour starting in the Spring of 2014 … and it’s gonna include ALL of the original members. Back in the day, D26 produced 2 albums before trouble began. Qwanell “Que” Mosley was kicked out of the group in 2009 because of disagreements with management. The whole band broke up in the summer of 2012 … and there’ve been rumors of a reunion ever since. It wasn’t until Que climbed on board that it became a reality. As for Diddy … we’re told he’s NOT part of the resurrected band … but he’s already given the boys his blessing. Will you be checking for the next Day 26 album?
