The marketing blitz accompanying this week’s Breaking Dawn release has prompted a bit of nostalgia about The Twilight Saga around Movieline HQ — particularly its eminently intriguing movie posters. Gone is the quaint patina of the original 2008 film, with sultry, semi-known Robert Pattinson locking his poo-colored gaze and clay-like visage on virginal, vaguely known Kristen Stewart, both doctored with minimalist Photoshop fervor. But gone, too (for now, anyway), are the hilariously earnest, carefully manipulated one-sheets from New Moon and Eclipse — the hand-mangling, the cock-blocking, the stank-eyed cast of thousands. In fact, the new posters look like photographs of actual people ! Very attractive and heavily airbrushed people in romance-novel clutches, but people nonetheless. ‘Kristen is just living this to the max and still has a sense of humor about it,’ her ‘Snow White’ co-star tells Vogue. By Jocelyn Vena Charlize Theron on the cover of Vogue Photo: Vogue Charlize Theron may be Kristen Stewart ‘s archnemesis in the forthcoming “Snow White and the Huntsman,” but in real life, her feelings about the “Breaking Dawn” star are far more warm and fuzzy. “She just turned 21,” said Theron, who plays the Evil Queen in the film, about her young co-star in a Vogue interview. “She’s a child. “When I think about myself at 21,” the actress said, recalling her own early days in Hollywood, “I had just done ‘The Devil’s Advocate,’ and [co-star] Keanu [Reeves] had paparazzi following him, and Al Pacino said this thing to me: ‘If I knew that my life would be under this kind of scrutiny, I would have never become an actor.’ And I thought, ‘Wow.’ I couldn’t comprehend it.” Theron went on to tell the magazine that Stewart is handling life in the public eye with grace. “Kristen is just living this to the max and still has a sense of humor about it. There’s this really lovely quality about her that just doesn’t give a f—,” she said. “A lot of people say they don’t, but then they go home and cry and pop a Xanax. Kristen actually doesn’t give a f—. That’s what’s so refreshing about her.” Of course, given her role as Snow White’s foe in next year’s “SWATH,” Theron is enjoying how differently their onscreen relationship will play out. “I’m looking forward to killing her and taking her beauty,” the actress joked. “That’s what happens, right?” On Monday night at the red-carpet premiere in Los Angeles for “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” Snow White herself opened up to MTV News about her highly anticipated flick, in which she plays a sword-wielding version of the classic fairy tale heroine. “I’m so enigmatic. But for Nikki Reed , who plays Rosalie in the films, her biggest wedding took place about a month ago when she married former “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald on October 16. While promoting the film, Reed has had to field a number a questions about similarities between Bella’s wedding in the film and her own real-life wedding. “People have been asking, just because I just got married, ‘What’s the difference between your wedding and Bella …?’ — the whole comparing thing,” Reed told MTV News. It wasn’t until Reed actually saw the finished film that she discovered a similarity between the two weddings. “I saw the movie last night for the first time, and what Bella says to Charlie is exactly what I said to my dad right when we were going to start walking down,” she revealed. “She says, ‘Don’t let me fall,’ and I was wearing these high shoes and walking down this cobblestone hill, not a smooth glide to the altar. I kept saying to my dad, ‘Please, don’t let me fall. I’ll just take my shoes off. I don’t need to walk in shoes.’ He’s like, ‘It’s going to be OK.’ ” With her wedding came the question of whether Reed will change her surname to “McDonald.” Reed said she likes the idea for her personal name, but wasn’t sure if she’ll change her stage name. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I feel like there’s something really nice about that, changing your name,” Reed said. “I think it’s sort of traditional, and I’ve never been a super-traditional gal, but I think it’s nice.” She did express some concern over the name and referenced her husband’s own problems with it. “He told me that he didn’t think anyone was going to marry him for that exact reason [of his last name],” Reed said. “I think it’s kind of nice, though. ‘McDonald’ is a good name. It’s strong. Forget 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. This is ironic: a new insider has spoken out in defense of Kim Kardashian and her intentions when marrying Kris Humphries in August. This insider? The star’s divorce attorney. Laura Wasser, who has represented a number of celebrities during their legal splits, explains to TMZ that the prenuptial agreement hammered out between parties was so extensive that both sides simply had to have been serious about the union. “Given what I know regarding that document, it is not plausible that this marriage was a sham,” Wasser says, adding that financial issues which extend “well into the future” were debated. Please. It certainly is plausible . Many might argue that a couple truly in love and hoping to spend eternity together would not even have a prenuptial agreement. The 30-page document focuses on every conceivable monetary issue, with one source asking: “Why on earth would they create a document which looks far into the future if they planned a marriage that would only last a few months?” So let us get this straight: the argument IN FAVOR of Kim’s legitimate feelings is based on the exhaustive amount of time spent on an agreement that divides up assets in case of divorce? J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake have been swapping the first place spot all season on Dancing With the Stars. Last night, it was definitely the latter’s turn on top. While he’s never one to complain (look at all he’s been through in life), J.R. rolled his right ankle in rehearsal and then twisted it again during his routines. The famous smile that lights up the dance floor was barely there Monday, replaced by grimaces of pain and looks of disappointment. His posture was off. J.R. and Karina Smirnoff did manage to turn in a sexy Argentine tango to make up for a subpar Paso Doble, but it’ll be up to fans to carry him through. After dating the singer for several years, Trawick is reportedly planning to propose to the pop star once her tour concludes in Puerto Rico on December 10. She also turns 30 on December 2, another rumored date for their engagement, which sources close to the pair say is inevitable and years in the making. “Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very long time,” a Spears family insider says . Jason Trawick “adores her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and they are crazy about him. Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour is wrapped, and it’s very likely he will pop the question at that time.” Legally, Britney would need her father’s legal sign-off to get hitched, given that he’s still the conservator of her affairs. An engagement doesn’t require that, though. Also, it’s likely that her engagement would mark a natural end to the conversatorship that’s been in place since 2008. Jamie Spears trusts Jason, and Britney. Britney’s family “is looking forward to the day that Jason will formally be a member of their family. Britney’s mom and Jason are very close,” a pal reveals. Robert Pattinson took his time Monday night (November 14) arriving at the RPattz Super Terrific Happy Hour — otherwise known as the black-carpet premiere of “Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” The wolf pack and the Forks students had come and gone. Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli were likely settled into their seats, popcorn in hand. Little Mackenzie Foy had already bounded inside. But the party didn’t truly begin until around 6:30 p.m. PT, when Pattinson sauntered onto the scene and the assembled crowd — including the hordes that had been camped out in Tent City for days — erupted into screams so high-pitched you’d have thought they’d been bitten by a vampire. Perhaps they had. And they couldn’t get enough. By the time Rob made his way to MTV News’ live-stream platform, he couldn’t quite believe real life had not in fact gone flying out the window and a surreal fantasy had enveloped him instead. “It’s like an alternate reality,” he said of the premiere. “My everyday life is so boring, and then you go to these things and everyone thinks something cool is happening.” It is, dude. For a while. Pattinson’s press tour has been going on for weeks now, with the 25-year-old skipping across the globe and stopping to chat with MTV News on a number of occasions. Wherever he goes, though, the talk always seems to turn to one topic: sex. Specifically, the honeymoon boom-boom that Pattinson’s Edward Cullen shares with Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan. “It is kind of disgusting,” he laughed. “It’s weird. I feel like I’m going a little bit crazy. You can kind of say anything. It’s like sex and death.” One thing Pattinson hasn’t discussed — and one thing he jokingly admitted on the carpet — is that though “Breaking Dawn” ended up rated PG-13, he is quite sure the harder, bloodier version would have made for a better flick. “Oh yeah, completely.
