Pop phenomenon Ke$ha wants to skinny dip with Britney Spears. Sounds awesome, save for the part about Ke$ha being there. That topic came up when the dollar-signed singer was asked how she would like to celebrate the success of her chart-topping ” Blow ” and ” Till the World Ends ,” Spears’ latest single that Ke$ha actually wrote. “Skinny dipping,” she said. “Either her place or my place, it doesn’t matter.” She recently put in an underwater stereo in her pool in Nashville, too. With “Part 1” already out on DVD and Harry Potter: The Exhibition at the Discovery Times Square building in New York City, the series is not going out quietly. One of the series’ stars, Jamie Campbell Bower, admits he feels lucky to have been a piece of that very large puzzle. “I was only on set for a very short period of time, and I only play a very small role in the film,” he told MTV News when he stopped by to talk about his new Starz series “Camelot.” “I suppose, you know, just for me personally, being able to be involved in something that is taking place in England for 10 years and something that has given people jobs and a great boost to the British film industry, that was a real honor.” Bower has appeared in two of the iconic films (both parts of “Deathly Hallows”), and he said that seeing it all come to an end has even more meaning for the film’s principal stars, who have been there since day one. “For the other guys in it, again, it’s been a part of their lives for 10 years, and that’s a big deal. Late Monday (April 4), the pop princess tweeted a 30-second preview of her next Femme Fatale video. “#TillTheWorldEnds video is coming out better than I even expected. Here’s a quick peek,” she wrote. In her next tweet , she revealed the release date for the follow-up video to “Hold It Against Me”: “#TillTheWorldEnds video premieres THIS Wednesday on VEVO. Cant wait to share it with you guys!” The 30-second teaser features some of the same moves Spears showed off during her three-song nightclub set in Las Vegas. This time, though, instead of the glittering lights of Vegas, Spears is leading an underground dance party as everything is crumbling around her in a dystopian universe. ‘Jersey Shore’ star gives MTV News a mini-tour of Rain nightclub. By Jocelyn Vena Pauly D Photo: MTV News On Sunday night, Britney Spears took her fans behind the scenes of her life as she prepped the release of her latest studio album, Femme Fatale , in the MTV special “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale.” She allowed cameras to follow her as she hit the studio to work with will.iam, attended dance rehearsals, filmed the video for her song “Hold It Against Me” and performed in Las Vegas. DJ Pauly D was on hand for that Vegas performance at the Palms Hotel and Casino, where he warmed up the crowd for the femme fatale herself. Before the night even kicked off, Pauly took MTV News for a mini-tour of Rain nightclub, where Spears was set to take the stage for her debut Femme Fatale performance. He walked our cameras through the club, showing off the stage on which Spears would later perform “Hold It Against Me,” “Big Fat Bass” and “Till The World Ends.” As he walked across the dance floor, which would be occupied by Spears’ fans much later in the night, he made his way to the DJ booth, where he spun tunes and introduced the star the night of the big show, which was included in the special. “Me, Britney and Vegas is the perfect combination. I love Las Vegas. I love music. Britney Spears loves music. Her new album’s out, and who better to be onstage with her than DJ Pauly D?” he said. “It’s amazing. I like to see my name on marquees anyway, but now, having it associated with Britney Spears. I’ve been a fan of her my whole life. It was the end of an impressive, talented run for Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo on American Idol last night . The singers were both eliminated, as the show cuts its number of finalists down to nine. How did they react to the news? Backstage, shortly after hearing her name called by Ryan Seacrest, Thia told Entertainment Weekly she was proud of her song choice (” Daniel ,” dedicated to her brother, which she said made him “cry) and that she has a lot to offer the music world. I can do “so much more than just slower songs and ballads,” Megia said . “In the future, I see me as being my own artist and definitely not a ballad singer!” Adedapo, meanwhile, says she wasn’t surprised to be eliminated because she knew turning “I’m Still Standing” into a reggae song was a huge risk. But… “rRggae is a part of me,” she said. “It’s a part of who I am and a part of my culture. For me, it would’ve been tragic to do an Elton John song just like Elton John and then get cut, versus showing who I am creatively as an artist and getting cut happy about the choice that I made.” We wish both these aspiring artists the very best of luck.
