Britney Spears Drops ‘Hold It Against Me’ Video Preview

By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears in the “Hold it Against Me” teaser Photo: Jive For fans counting down the days until Britney Spears debuts her “Hold It Against Me” video , the pop star premiered an otherworldly clip on Friday (February 4) that gives them a taste of what to expect. In the teaser , Brit also reveals that the video is set to drop on or about February 18 with a panel that reads “13 days to go.” “Hold It Against Me” is the lead single from her March release, Femme Fatale. On Friday, Spears about the video, “14 days, 14 teasers, 1 World Premiere of #HIAM –Britney.” She then included a link to the (very short) five-second mini tease of the Jonas Akerlund-directed video. Judging from those few seconds, though, the director seems to be bringing Britney into his dark world. Dressed in a flowing white gown, the singer appears surrounded by TV screens as a light and camera are pointed at her face. The preview ends with the message “Britney Spears … 13 days to go.” Brian Friedman, who choreographed the video, recently told MTV News that this one pushes all boundaries. “Artistically, this video I think surpasses a lot of her other videos,” he teased. “So many of her videos are iconic, though. You look at ‘Toxic’ and you look at ‘Slave,’ even ‘Oops … I Did It Again’: People are gonna remember those videos forever. [In] ‘… Baby One More Time,’ she made school-girl outfits relevant and so popular. This video is artistically a masterpiece, and I don’t think that Britney has pushed the envelope in this way ever in any of her videos.” Friedman credited Akerlund’s keen eye for unexpected visuals and epic scale. “Anything that he does is magical,” he said. “His eye for art is insane, so I was excited to work with someone who loves art so much and it’s not just a job, it’s not technical; it really is a string aesthetic to what he does.” The teaser video dropped a day after Spears and her camp thanked fans for helping to keep the album title a trending topic on Twitter. “Just heard FEMME FATALE has been trending for almost 2 days. Britney Spears Music Video Tease: Five Awesome Seconds

It’s a whole five seconds, at least 1-2 of which aren’t actually footage from the video, but we’ll take what we can get. Right, Britney Spears fans? Below, we have your first video look at Spears’ new music video for “Hold It Against Me,” the hit single from her upcoming album, Femme Fatale . Wearing a flowly white gown, Brit is seen in a room full by TVs, showing her from multiple views, like security cameras. That’s it. It’s real short. Britney Spears – Hold It Against Me Teaser Even more ridiculous? This is the first of 14 blink-and-you-miss-it teasers for the video , which will roll out each day until the full premiere. It’s will be interesting to see if there is any dancing included in the subsequent clips, given the rumors if a dance double being used in the shoot.

‘Skins’ Stars Preview ‘Chris’ Episode

We’ve gotten to know Tea . And this week, fans will get up close and personal with Chris on “Skins.” While Chris appears to be just a party boy who seeks out every opportunity for a good time, there might be more to him than meets the eye. “I do like Chris — I love Stanley, I think he’s really relatable, and Tony and Tea are really cool — but there’s something about Chris for me. He’s just the best,” Sofia Black D’Elia gushed to MTV News. “He’s such a heartbreaking character. You just feel for him so much, because he never stops smiling, and out of every character on the show, he has the most reason to not smile.” Without giving too much away, a sequence of events on Monday’s (January 28) episode should show fans that Chris isn’t some one-dimensional character. “He just can’t not be happy,” Black D’Elia said. “He just loves life. He’ll do anything to get the most out of it. As long as he’s having an incredible time, he’s OK. He has so much heart, and Jesse [Carere] does such an unbelievable job in that role.” “Chris is just a lot of fun,” added James Newman, who plays Tony. “Chris is one of those characters that doesn’t really change too much. I think a lot of stuff will happen to him, and you’ll see him react, but at the end of the day, Chris is Chris, and that’s kind of the beauty of him. Britney Spears is going to love this. Not only did Kacey Jordan, Charlie Sheen’s latest porn star plaything, abort K-Fed’s child a few years back, she used to babysit the loser’s kids with Britney. After Brit and Kevin split, Kacey Jordan and K-Fed dated briefly. During that smokin’ hot relationship, she would babysit his two sons for him on occasion. WORST BABYSITTER EVER : Britney Spears will surely be happy to know her kids were under the care of a trashy porn star K-Fed was impregnating . Don’t ask us what K-Fed even does that would require him to leave Sean Preston and Jayden James with a babysitter, but that’s the story. The scary story . “I watched the kids when Kevin was dealing with the divorce. He was busy going to so many meetings,” she said. “We went swimming … they were great.” Probably true. Compared to partying with Charlie Sheen , a lot less can go wrong. The odds of ending up in the hospital after OD’ing are certainly smaller.

By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber’s PETA ad Photo: PETA With tag lines like “My World Includes Passion for Animals, Yours Should Too” and “Animals Can Make U Smile, Adopt From Your Local Shelter,” Justin Bieber has joined forces with PETA as the latest celebrity spokesperson for the animal-rights organization. The pop singer and a papillon pup named Bijou posed for the ads, asking fans to adopt animals from a shelter. Bieber also shot a video for the campaign that has been posted online . In the clip, he says, “A lot of animals are getting abused in different homes … and I think it’s really important we just stay aware about these different situations.” Bieber goes on to recalls his own experiences with animal shelters. “I have a dog, his name is Sam. He’s actually a papillon,” the teen star explained. “We moved to a city where we didn’t really know anybody, so I wanted a friend and Sam was kind of like that friend. “My dad and I used to just go visit the different animals and stuff,” he continued, while suggesting that people get involved with the campaign. “It’s really important that people adopt. I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog that has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.” In his punny photo ads for the organization, the pop sensation sports his signature bangs and hoodie.
