Well let me start this out by saying that I never ever thought I…

Well let me start this out by saying that I never ever thought I was going to meet Justin. I always thought about what it would be like to meet him though, I always thought that it would be a dream come true. My dream came true on October 20th, 2012. My name’s Madisyn & I’m the girl who is shorter than Justin in the picture. I have always been a fan of Justin, I fell “in love” with him after I heard ‘One Time’ on the radio in 2009. I went to my first Justin Bieber concert on June 29th, 2010 and that’s the day I became a belieber. Some time around late May, early June Justin tweeted that the pre-sale tickets for people with Bieberfever memberships were going to go on sale in like 14 hours. I told my sister Shani (the girl who’s taller than Justin in the picture) that we needed to get meet & greets. The next day while sitting in geometry class I got a call from my sister saying that we had got first row seats and meet & greets to Justin’s concert. I almost shit my pants. I couldn’t believe it! Let’s fast forward to Saturday October 20th. The day we met Justin. I woke up that morning still not being able to register the fact that I was meeting Justin later in the day. As the day went on I started to have a nervous feeling in my stomach. Once my sister and I got dropped off at the Target Center in Minneapolis it really started to click for me that I was going to meet him. We got in a line to pick up our tickets. We were the last people in line who paid to meet him. Once we got our tickets, lanyard, and wristband we went through a door and there was about 70 or so girls standing in a line. Some guy started talking to all of us, he was really nice. The first thing he said was “WHO IS EXCITED TO MEET JUSTIN?!” Of course, every single girl screamed. He also told us that we weren’t allowed to take pictures of Justin when we entered the curtain thing where he was, he said we could hug him but not kiss him, and that we would be taking our picture with whoever we came with (unless you won meet and greets then you go in a group with people you don’t know). While standing there a door opened from across the room and it was Bruce Dale, Justin’s grandpa! I was like omg, there’s Bruce! None of the girls by me cared. So I just waved to him and he waved back. After that the guy who was first talking to us led us up some stairs and that area was where we were going to meet Justin. The curtain thing where you meet Justin is just like the one in Never Say Never. It’s just a black curtain type thing. While waiting in line Diane Dale, Kenny, and Dan all walked by. Justin’s grandma was buying a concert t-shirt! All of the sudden while in line I heard a bunch of screaming, I looked to see what the fuss was about.. it was Justin. He had came out of the curtain in Heely’s but quickly went back in. As I got closer to the curtain I saw that Ryan Butler and Diane were standing right outside of the curtain and then I saw them walk in the curtain area. The line had started moving very fast. You only get like 30 seconds with him so you have to think fast on what you’re going to say. I told my sister to go in first because I was scared. It was our turn and the guy who opened the curtain was like, “Here you go ladies!” My sister walked in and Justin said, “Hi, how are you?!” She said “Hi! Good, how are you?” and he said, “Great!” Then they hugged. I don’t know what I was doing during that because I didn’t hear/see any of it and I was right behind her. I remember putting my purse on the ground, looking to my right and seeing Diane and Ryan standing there. I gave them a little smile. I walked up to Justin and he said Hi! I said hey *VERY SHYLY* with a huge smile on my face and then we hugged. Everyone always says he smells really good, well I can’t remember what he smelt like because I was to busy thinking that I was currently touching Justin fricken’ Bieber. After we hugged I moved over to his side. I honestly don’t remember smiling for the picture, I don’t remember looking at the camera either. I could just feel his arm across my back and his hand on my waist. After the picture the security rushed us out very fast. They had our bags in their hands and as I was starting to walk away from Justin, I felt his arm/hand slide across my lower back and I honestly became speechless. We walked through a door where we sat for like 20 minutes on the ground. After that we were led back through the same door to get first dibs on the merch. My sister & I both got a t-shirt. We went to our seats and waited for the concert to start. While waiting for the concert to start I saw Pattie, Bruce, Diane, Ryan, Scrappy, Fredo, and Kenny. Selena was there too but I didn’t see her. Let me just tell you that Bruce is the cutest person ever. He had ear plugs in and was just looking around smiling the whole time . Carly came out first then Justin. JUSTIN WAS AMAZING. He’s such a good performer and knows how to put on a show. He came and sang in front of us a handful of times and I just wanted to melt. I even got a picture of him singing OLLG where it looks like he’s looking straight at me! The concert went by so fast and I wish I could put that day on replay and keeping on living it. Best day of my life. -@madyczarnecki Read the original post: Well let me start this out by saying that I never ever thought I…

Frankie Go Boom Teaser: Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam Meets Ron Perlman As a Woman

The marketing noise at Comic-Con is always such a cacophony, it can be tough-to-impossible to get tiny movies noticed in the chaos unless they’ve got attention-grabbing hooks . Like, say, finding a thumb drive inside a condom that just happens to contain the first-look teaser at Ron Perlman as a transsexual named Phyllis greeting his Sons of Anarchy son Charlie Hunnam (both in town for this weekend’s Pacific Rim and SoA panels) and Bridemaids ‘ Chris O’Dowd with a big, fat kiss. Movieline’s got your first look at the indie comedy Frankie Go Boom ! Hunnam stars as Frankie, O’Dowd as his terrible brother Bruce, and Perlman as Bruce’s terrifying old ex-con acquaintance Phil, now a terrifying ex-con lady named Phyllis. Lizzy Caplan earned raves for her turn as Lassie, whose one-night stand with Frankie leads to complications… involving a sex tape… and, well, I’ll let the film’s synopsis do the explaining: 3,2,1 … Frankie go Boom follows Frank Bartlett (Charlie Hunnam) who has been tortured, embarrassed and humiliated by his brother Bruce (Chris O’Dowd) – usually on film – for his entire life. Now that Bruce is finally off drugs and has turned his life around, things should be different. They are not. 3,2,1 … Frankie go Boom is a comedy about two brothers a girl with a broken heart, a sex tape, an angel and a pig. Since Movieline was the first to debut Frankie Go Boom ‘s poster featuring Perlman as “Phyllis,” it’s fitting that we bring you this glimpse of his post-op vamping. Let Perlman’s ” HER , MOTHAF***A!” terrify you into addressing the trans community with cowering respect. (Fun fact: I’m told it was Hunnam who suggested his Sons of Anarchy father figure play the transgender Phyllis.) Frankie Go Boom (now titled 3,2,1… Frankie Go Boom ), written and directed by Jordan Roberts, will debut on VOD on September 10 with a theatrical release to follow October 12. As for you other would-be attention-grabbers here at Comic-Con: Good luck topping the visceral recoil followed by ” Oh thank God ” relief I experienced when I picked up the Frankie Go Boom viral “package” last night and realized what was (or wasn’t) inside… Read more from Comic-Con 2012. Will Demi Lovato Help Britney Spears On ‘X Factor’?

‘I believe Demi’s bubbly personality and kindness will prove to bring Britney out of her shell,’ says Celebuzz editor Amber James. By Gil Kaufman Britney Spears, LA Reid, Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato Photo: Britney Spears via Facebook It’s always hard being the new girl in school. But when Britney Spears makes her debut in the fall as the fresh judge on the panel of “X Factor” , she’ll have come fine company in the form of Demi Lovato . With show creator Simon Cowell and record label boss L.A. Reid returning as the wily veterans with decades of experience in the game, Demi and Britney will be the relative newbies in the mix. The two women will also have something else in common: Both were child stars who grew up in the public eye and then struggled through a series of headline-grabbing difficulties only to brush themselves off and regain their star status. “I think it’s good for both of them to have each other on the show,” People magazine senior writer Joey Bartolomeo said. “For one thing, because they’re both new to [‘Factor’] and it’s not one person coming in to be with three other judges. They have each other.” Their paths, and struggles, have been very different, but Bartolomeo said the two can likely relate to each other on a personal level, though we shouldn’t expect them to do any therapeutic work on live TV. “Everyone loves a good comeback story,” she said. “Britney has been doing well the past couple of years … but seeing her on a weekly basis with this kind of job is another step in that process … People want to root for people to have success; now they have two people on a show who’ve been through a lot, and people will tune in to see how they are.” Lovato, 19, went from being the young star of such Disney shows as “Sonny With a Chance” and “Camp Rock” to a successful touring and recording career that was derailed in 2010 when she entered a rehab center for physical and emotional issues. She has since become a spokesperson for anti-bullying causes, spoken out about her body-image issues, eating disorder, depression, self-abuse and substance problems. Spears, 30, also came up in the Disney machine as a star on “The New Mickey Mouse Club,” and after a series of erratic incidents and public meltdowns, she ended up in a rehabilitation facility in 2007 and was put on a psychiatric hold in January 2008 after refusing to give up her two children to their father, ex-husband Kevin Federline. While Lovato has spoken publicly about her struggles and appears to have gotten her career back on track, Spears has been kept on lockdown by her team. The singer is under a strict conservatorship that has handed control of her assets to her father and, recently, her boyfriend/agent, Jason Trawick. Britney’s career has rebounded, with hit albums, singles and tours, but she has participated in only sporadic press interviews, which were, by most accounts, tightly controlled and allowed for little deviation from a predetermined script. “I think they could help support each other, but their [personal] problems are very different,” said Us Weekly senior music editor Ian Drew, who questioned the choice of Spears for the “Factor” panel. “Knowing the way Britney works, nobody is going to be able to speak to her. It’s a very odd choice. … I don’t know what Demi will add [either].” Drew said he understood “X Factor” had to add two new judges because of the structure of the show, but he wonders how the pair will fit into the mix. “Demi is very honest and says what’s on her mind, so maybe they need someone like that,” he said. “But I don’t think anyone will tune in to see Demi.” Celebuzz editor Amber James also acknowledged that the women have dealt with their problems in totally different ways, but said their shared struggle might add an interesting dynamic to the show as it tries to build on the first season’s solid-but-not-smashing success. “I believe Demi’s bubbly personality and kindness will prove to bring Britney out of her shell,” predicted James. “They seem like they’d bounce off each other well and provide a nurturing and safe atmosphere, where Britney can really get into her role, without fear of saying the wrong thing and truly be herself.” And even if they don’t become instant besties, the pair will at least be able to fend off the intimidating presences of Cowell and Reid while trying to find their feet on the show. “Maybe the two of them will gang up on Simon and L.A.,” Bartolomeo said. ‘Dark Knight Rises’: How Much Will ‘Knightfall’ Factor In?

The Weekly Rising takes a closer look at the comic inspiration for Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film. By Kevin P. Sullivan Batman #497: The breaking of the Bat Photo: DC Comics Throughout his tenure as the commander of the big-screen Batman, Christopher Nolan , along with writing partners Jonathan Nolan and David S. Goyer, have pulled selectively from the vast library of books for inspiration in the films. “Batman Begins” borrowed a handful of elements from Frank Miller’s “Batman: Year One,” while “The Dark Knight” took some character notes from “The Long Halloween.” When it was announced that Bane would make his triumphant return as a respectable villain in the finale, ” The Dark Knight Rises ,” comic books fans were just as quick to shout “Knightfall,” in reference to the trilogy of stories that played out during 1993 and 1994. It appeared Nolan and company had found their inspiration, but what exactly would they use from those books? Bane The masked villain was the clear giveaway to “Knightfall” ‘s presence as an influence, and it’s clear why. Bane only showed up on the DC Comics scene four months before the beginning of the “Knightfall” story line, and once the show got on the road, he made his introduction count. As he appears to be in “The Dark Knight Rises,” the Bane of the comics was a hyper-intelligent behemoth of a man, capable of besting Bruce Wayne. Prison Break Part of Bane’s plan in gaining the upper hand over Batman involved releasing all of Arkham Asylum’s worst inmates on the city. Batman wears himself down, rounding up the likes of the Joker, the Scarecrow and Poison Ivy, and this series of bouts leaves him severely weakened when he finally has to face off against Bane in the Batcave, leading to the most significant scene from “Knightfall.” The Break If Bane is remembered for anything, it is the central moment of “Knightfall” when he takes a physically and mentally exhausted Bruce Wayne and breaks his back with a knee to the spine. It was a critical blow in more than one sense of the word and significantly changed the shape of the Batman titles for years to come. The scant footage we have actually seen from “The Dark Knight Rises” hints that Christian Bale ‘s Bruce Wayne does suffer some similar injury during the course of the film. He appears to be walking with a cane, and while we can’t conclusively blame Bane, the timing sure is something! Catwoman Selina Kyle’s appearance in both “Knightfall” and “The Dark Knight Rises” most likely is a coincidence, since her role in the former is not terribly significant. It does matter, however, that she attempts to help Bruce Wayne with his paralysis, demonstrating that there are many facets to her allegiances. The New Batman While Bruce Wayne was on the mend thanks to Bane’s handiwork, a new Batman, Jean-Paul Valley, took up the cowl in his absence. Since the tag line of “The Dark Knight Rises” leaves little doubt that the “legend ends” with this final movie, fans have been pondering whether the new film will mean the death of Bruce Wayne. If that’s the case, the symbol would have to live on. A new Dark Knight would have to rise. Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Welcomes Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Beastie Boys were also inducted on a night when Guns singer Axl Rose refused to attend. By Gil Kaufman Former Guns N’ Roses members Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan, Slash and Steven Adler attend the 2012 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony Photo: Getty Images If it’s the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, then drama is as much a prerequisite as loud guitars, receding hairlines and a night-ending all-star jam on a golden oldie. Saturday night’s 27th edition was no exception according to reports, with as much intrigue as a telenovela, as well as some genuinely peaceful Southern California bro-downage, irreverent induction speeches and fresh spots in the Hall for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, The Faces, Freddie King, Laura Nyro and Guns N’ Roses . The spotlight, of course, was on the famously fractured band of battling former brothers in GNR. Lead singer and sole remaining original member Axl Rose loudly decried the institution in a scathing letter
earlier in the week, saying he would not attend and intimating that anyone who did was a fraud. That was just fine for former guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan, who made the most of the honor, while, ahem, never once mentioning Rose. “I don’t know that it matters who’s here tonight, because it’s about the music that these bands played,” said McKagan, who jammed a short time later on three songs with a pseudo-GNR made up of Slash, former Guns guitarist Gilby Clarke and drummers Steven Adler and Matt Sorum and Alter Bridge singer Myles Kennedy. It was the first time in nearly 20 years that Slash, McKagan and Adler had performed together and according to reports there were little signs of rust on the classics “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” In his induction speech at the Cleveland ceremony, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong dubbed Guns’ 1987 album, Appetite for Destruction , “the best debut album in the history of rock and roll … every song hits hard. It takes you ion a trip to the seedy world of Los Angeles. The thing that set them apart from everyone else was guts.” And after ticking off the strengths of all the members of the group, he cheekily added, “Let’s see, who am I missing?” The latter set off yet another chorus of four-letter catcalls from the 7,400 in attendance, which inspired Armstrong to add, “Shut up. He [Rose] was the greatest frontman to ever step in front of a microphone.” Rose wasn’t the only star missing. Rod Stewart was not on hand to celebrate with the Faces/Small Faces because he was reportedly sick with the flu and Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch was absent because of ongoing recovery from cancer treatment. B Boys member Mike D made up for it, giving a shout-out to the trio’s hometown for inspiration. “Thank you, New York City, for basically raising us and giving us all the music we love and grew up on,” said D, who was on hand along with bandmate Ad-Rock to celebrate becoming only the third hip-hop act in the Hall. During a later performance, Kid Rock, Travie McCoy and the Roots’ Black Thought joined the duo for a medley of their classics, including “Sabotage.” Also inducted were Donovan, blues guitarist Freddie King, Laura Nyro, music exec Don Kirshner and a number of sidemen and backup musicians. Accepting their award from comedian Chris Rock, Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis said it felt a bit weird to join such a hallowed hall when his band is still out on the road promoting new music. “We’re going somewhere,” he said. “How can we stop and take an award when really we’re just halfway there?” The Peppers later performed with a triple-drummer line-up that included two former skins pounders, Jack Irons and Cliff Martinez. The five-plus hour ceremony will be boiled down to a two-and-a-half hour special for a May 5 HBO broadcast. Related Artists Guns N’ Roses Red Hot Chili Peppers Beastie Boys
