Fergie is Metal Panties in a Pantsless Performance of the Day

I met Fergie once. Her security wasn’t happy about me meeting her and tried pushing me off of her because I was drunk and trying to put my arm around her to discuss my business ideas for her and she told them to back off, grabbed my hand, told me she had to go and had no time to talk but it was nice meeting me, and from that day on, I was in enough love to forget all the mean things I’ve said about her all these years. She is the reason the Black Eyed Peas aren’t insignificant hip hop artists playing shitty shoes, she’s why people care to hear them cuz we don’t give a fuck about how good a producer Will.I.Am is, we care about how much of Fergie’s body is being exposed, and despite getting older, she’s still rockin’ the no pants, like she was Gaga, only Fergie’s got the body to pull the shit off and the metal panties make me think Chastity belt and anyone who knows me, knows I’ve always wanted to meet an 18 year old in a Chastity belt I get to houdini her out of, it’s one of my life goals that will never materialize…. ‘Jersey Shore’ Brings Seaside Heights A Fiscal Fist-Pump

‘We can’t even calculate the economic benefit,’ local business exec says. By Eric Ditzian The cast of “Jersey Shore” Photo: Scott Gries/Picture Group Seaside Heights, New Jersey has historically been a sleepy town in the winter months, its boardwalk and beaches only heating up after Memorial Day weekend begins. All that has changed since the emergence of “Jersey Shore,” MTV’s hit reality show about a group of tanned and gelled kids partying it up in the Heights. “Ever since it aired in the beginning of December, the phones have been ringing earlier and more often,” Maria Maruca, executive director of the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District, told MTV News. “Now that the show is coming back, we can’t even calculate the economic benefit.” That’s right, Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the “Jersey Shore” cast are headed back to Seaside Heights for part of season two, and the owners of hotels, restaurants, bars and more in Seaside Heights couldn’t be happier. Filming for the first season flew mostly under the radar on a national level, but the town benefitted greatly in terms of hotel stays and catering for the show’s cast and crew. Now that the show’s a hit, Maruca said Seaside Heights has been busy over the winter and is positioned for an epic summer. “There’s the curiosity factor,” she said. “Celebrities draw crowds. That’s going to give us an edge that we didn’t have before. The exposure that the show brought to Seaside Heights — when every late-night host is talking about Snooki, when Leonardo DiCaprio is talking about the show — we could never have afforded that type of media. This is more than we could ever have asked for.” Maruca hastened to add that the town remains weather-dependent and that sunny skies are hugely important to its financial bottom line. And there are, of course, those who feel the increased exposure comes with negative costs stemming from what some feel are unflattering impressions of both Italian-Americans and Seaside Heights. “There’s always people who see the glass of half empty,” Maruca said. “The show isn’t about Seaside Heights; the show is about eight individuals. It just happened to be filmed in Seaside Heights. And when you look at Seaside Heights as a backdrop, our beaches look spectacular; our boardwalk, our amusements look great.” An unexpected tourist destination has become the “Jersey Shore” house itself, with folks snapping pictures in front of what Seaside Heights business owners have come to call “the most famous garage door in America.” And then there are the bars and clubs, like Karma and Beachcomber Bar and Grill, that were featured on the show and which stand to do big business when the summer season kicks off. Maruca didn’t have exact figures for the increase in business over the winter or for what’s expected in the coming months, but expectations are running high. “The anticipation for the summer season has been heightened all around, from the tourism business to the business community,” he said. “To see the buzz and the activity is beyond exciting.” Are you excited for the next season of “Jersey Shore”? Michael Lynche’s Save: ‘American Idol’ Experts, Fans Weigh In

‘Bad decision with this many weeks left!’ one MTV reader writes. By Gil Kaufman Photo: Ray Mickshaw / FOX For once, “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest wasn’t exaggerating when he promised that Wednesday night’s results show would be a shocker . On a night when many predicted that Aaron Kelly’s “Idol” journey would be coming to a halt , instead it was burly personal trainer and new dad Michael Lynche facing the sing of shame. Lynche, who has emerged as one of the strongest contenders in an otherwise lackluster season nine, pulled out his big guns in an attempt to stay in the mix, reprising his lauded cover of Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” and earning the season’s only save. He was on the chopping block despite a mostly praised R&B spin on “Eleanor Rigby” on Tuesday night. “I was absolutely shocked,” Rickey Yaneza, webmaster of the “Idol” fan site Rickey.org , said about Lynche landing in the bottom three alongside Kelly and Andrew Garcia. “I didn’t think he’d end up getting the least amount of votes, but I think they made the right call.” Yaneza said Lynche’s “Woman’s Work” was one of the best performances of the season so far, and the reprise was more than enough to earn his spot back. As for what happened to put Lynche in the crosshairs, Yaneza speculated that the brawny singer’s fans may have gotten complacent, while supporters of Kelly and Garcia pulled it together and rallied enough votes to keep them in the competition. “Aaron and Andrew’s fans worked their butts off overnight knowing their guys were in trouble,” he said, noting that Lynche’s fanbase has never been as strong as those for other on-the-bubble contestants such as Kelly, Garcia and “Teflon” Tim Urban. MTV’s own “Idol” disciple, Jim Cantiello, was surprised that the judges used their one-and-only save for Lynche, assuming they’d save it for one of the other front-runners. “Given the way this season is going, I assumed they’d only use it on Crystal Bowersox or perhaps Lee Dewyze,” he said. “Michael was a likable guy, but he’s been railed for giving overdramatic performances. Tuesday night, he went way over the top and Simon was quite vocal in his disapproval. So for 24 hours later to have passed and now the judges are unanimous in giving this guy another shot? It was unexpected.” Cantiello disagreed with the move, saying Lynche had reverted back to his “over-emotive” habits. “After his results-show interview where he told Seacrest that people should just download his studio recordings if they’re not feeling his onstage antics?” Cantiello said. “That right there proves he has no intention of pulling back. America wasn’t feeling his dinner-theater performance style, voted him off, and then the judges gave him a free pass to keep doing what he’s doing. If he doesn’t tone it down next week, he’ll be the lowest vote-getter all over again.” MTV readers reacted strongly to the drama, with Kevin writing, “Now what do they do if someone that is talented and could have a future in the business like Crystal doesn’t get enough votes one week? Bad decision with this many weeks left!” Rick took a more academic approach, arguing that the judges shouldn’t have saved Lynche because “when your vote total is that low, then your fanbase is highly unlikely to carry you through and you’re going home within the next few weeks anyway. I don’t think you break out the save until there is seven or even six left. In that case you could potentially save the winner.” MJ Santilli, who runs the “Idol” fan site MJsBigBlog.com , isn’t a fan of the save in general, feeling that the “Idol” chips should fall where they may with no interference from the judges. “Surprise boots are part of the ‘Idol’ experience. Everyone gets over it and moves on,” she said. “So I’m happy to have it out of the way for the season.” That said, if the save has to be deployed, she was fine with Lynche being the beneficiary. “There are at least four contestants who should be heading out the door before Mike Lynche: Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban have all had spotty track records, at best, on the ‘Idol’ stage,” she said. “Plus, Mike is one of the few contestants left with decent performance skills, and now that Paige Miles is gone, he’s the only R&B singer in the group.” Santilli was also surprised at Lynche’s elimination because she figured his fanbase wasn’t being split with any of the other contestants. But the problem now, she said, was that if one of the other front-runners — such as Bowersox, Dewyze or Siobhan Magnus — is eliminated in the next few weeks, the judges can’t do a thing about it. “And there goes that feel-good save they could have used during ‘Idol Gives Back,’ ” she lamented. Kim Kardashian’s Curves Continue To Impress

I make a lot of lame jokes about Kim Kardashian’s ass being big enough to take down a small dear, but really I just want to go a few rounds in the ring with that thing . Here she is going somewhere, nobody cares, showing off what have got to be some of the greatest curves in the business. I’m not exactly sure what that business is, but I want to invest. Of course by invest I mean make a deposit…. Don’t worry, it’s not a very big one. Enjoy.

U.S.-China currency may turnaround, said by Economist

United States decision to delay its report on exchange rate policies could bring a turnaround in the recent currency dispute with China, economists believe. The report was originally scheduled for April 15. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner announced Saturday to delay a report to Congress on international economic and exchange rate policies, which might indicate whether China is manipulating its currency exchange rate. U.S. President Barack Obama’s top economic adviser Lawrence Summers said Sunday that Geithner’s decision was a right one as the United States will hold a series of high-profile meetings with China in the next three months.> > Read More U.S.-China currency may turnaround, said by Economist is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

MTV’s Musical March Madness: Championship Matchup Revealed!

It’s My Chemical Romance vs. Coheed and Cambria For the championship of MTV’s Band Bracketology! Winner will be revealed Wednesday! By James Montgomery My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News Well, it’s come down to this. After hundreds of thousands of votes, 65 teams, 20 days and 5 rounds, we’ve reached the championship game of MTV’s Musical March Madness tournament. There have been shocking upsets, overtime thrillers and even accusations of voter fraud, all of which is going to make for one heck of a “One Shining Moment” montage . We plowed through regions, busted brackets, whittled our list down to a Terrific 32, a Sweet 16, an Elite 8 and a Final Four . And now, there are just two bands standing. Who Will Win MTV’s Musical March Madness?! So who are they? Well, before we unveil the two acts who will battle it out for the March Madness crown, let’s take a look back at the Final Four, which pitted #2 Muse (champions of the Midwest region) against #5 My Chemical Romance (champs of the West) in one semifinal, and #15 Coheed and Cambria (the unstoppable champions of the South) against #16 Tokio Hotel (the unlikely champions of the East) in the other. Both looked like they’d be hotly contested matchups on paper, but as it turned out, neither of them was particularly close (sort of like Duke/West Virginia). You can take a look at the updated bracket here . Voting on the championship game begins Monday (April 5) afternoon on the Newsroom blog and will run until Tuesday night. On Wednesday, we’ll unveil our champion. And much like Final Four voting, results will remain secret until the champ is crowned, so you won’t be able to keep track of the percentages as you vote. (This is what we in the business call building suspense. ) Anyway, who will be playing in the championship game?!? Why, none other than My Chemical Romance and Coheed and Cambria. And judging by both band’s performances up to this point, our title game is gonna be a doozy. My Chem got to the championship by hammering Muse in the semifinal, winning 69-31, getting balanced scoring from the Way brothers and a triple-double from guitarist Ray Toro, who abused Muse’s Christopher Wolstenholme in the low post. Thanks to the fanatical support of their MCRmy, My Chem have knocked off not only Muse, but upstarts Panic! at the Disco, tournament favorites 30 Seconds to Mars, the mighty Pearl Jam and the upset-minded Gorillaz, and now they stand on the precipice of claiming their first-ever championship. Of course, it’s not going to be easy, because standing in their way are Coheed and Cambria, who may be unstoppable at this point (they are definitely the Duke to MCR’s Butler), especially after C&C mauled Tokio Hotel in the semifinal, winning 62-38 (the actual numbers were 30,788 votes to 18,491.) And yes, we’re aware that there were some, uh, shenanigans being employed by Coheed fans, but they don’t seem to have overly skewed the results, so Coheed move on! (Take heart, Tokio fanatics, the band’s defeat will not be in vain: We’re going to safeguard finals voting against any further chicanery using top-secret technology.) So who will come out on top in our Musical March Madness championship game, My Chemical Romance or Coheed and Cambria? The MCRmy or the Children of the Fence? It’s going to be one for the ages, for certain. So get your voting fingers ready, polls open Monday afternoon on the Newsroom blog … on Wednesday, only one band will be left standing.
