Anti-Foreclosure Program Aims To Spur ‘Short Sales’

Source: NPR – The government is launching a new effort to encourage “short sales” of houses in danger of foreclosure. The Treasury Department will offer more than $3,000 in incentives to lenders and homeowners. Nearly 5 million people around United States are seriously delinquent on their mortgages. Some may be able to save their homes if they can negotiate a loan modification with a lower payment from a lender. But others simply don’t have enough income even for that. > > Read More Anti-Foreclosure Program Aims To Spur ‘Short Sales’ is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

Toyota Sales Skyrocket

Although many had been shaken by Toyota’s mass safety recalls, extensive discounts had helped win back Toyota’s customers and made Toyota’s U.S. sales rebound in March. The Japanese carmaker saw its US sales increase to 40.7 percent last month as compared to last year. Ford had an increase of 39.8 % while General Motors had 20.6%. However, Chrysler had a decrease of 8.3%. Toyota has had to recall about more than eight million cars around the world because of the problems regarding with its accelerator pedals and brakes. Toyota has introduced huge price cuts in the U.S. The huge success in March only shows that customers somehow continue their confidence and trust in the safety and reliability of Toyota’s vehicles. Toyota is the world’s largest car manufacturer, both in terms of revenues and sales. Toyota Sales Skyrocket is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

Michael Jackson Doctor Conrad Murray Fights To Keep Medical License

Murray is charged with manslaughter in the pop star’s 2009 death. By Kelley L. Carter Conrad Murray Photo: Toby Canham/ Getty Images Dr. Conrad Murray, who is being charged with manslaughter for the death of pop superstar Michael Jackson, has said in court papers that he must be granted the right to continue practicing medicine, otherwise, he won’t be able to pay for his defense in the case. Murray was responding to a bid by the California attorney general to suspend his license pending trial, The Associated Press reports. Attorneys for the doctor say if that were to happen, the results would be devastating for the financially strapped Murray. “He is, without fear of overstatement, hanging on by a thread,” the attorneys wrote. “His ability to pay for his own defense depends almost entirely on his ability to continue to treat patients.” Murray, who is due back in court on Monday, has pleaded not guilty to the involuntary-manslaughter charges brought up against him in Jackson’s death; the singer was administered anesthetic propofol and other drugs by Murray. Should he be suspended in California — where he no longer practices — his lawyers fear there might be a domino effect in Texas and Nevada, where the bulk of his practice is. “If Dr. Murray is unable to practice medicine in Texas, and especially Nevada, he will likely be faced with the inability to adequately defend himself of the charges facing him in the Superior Court of California,” his lawyers wrote. “The case with which he is charged will require intensive attorney work and fees. In light of the fact that much of his defense will be scientifically based and involves the death of an internationally famous decedent, expenses for his defense will be considerable.” Lawyers for Murray also say that should he be suspended, he’d struggle to pay child support. The AP also reports that court records show financial woes aren’t new to Murray, and they date back to when he signed on in May at $150,000 per month to keep Jackson healthy through a series of comeback shows planned in London. At that time, he owed at least $780,000 for settlements against his business, outstanding mortgage payments on his house, delinquent student loans, child support and credit cards. He also faced near foreclosure on his Las Vegas country-club home. In January, he made a payment of $1,003 on a $15,500 child-support debt involving a California woman and her 11-year-old son. The next month, he failed to appear at a Las Vegas court proceeding and was found in default on a $132,000 debt related to office and medical equipment and services. Google is Topeka, and Topeka is Google

One of the hot searches today in the internet is about the so called “new logo” of Google, as you can see, the web giant renamed their homepage to “Topeka”. What is Topeka anyway? Topeka is the capital of Kansas and last March 1, 2010, Bill Bunten, the mayor of Topeka proclaimed that for the month of March, Topeka will become Google, Kansas. It’s a support of the city to Google about the fiber optics experiment and they are wishing that Google will choose the city to be the test site for its planned super-fast fiber-optic network. In return, the web giant renamed itself as Topeka to “honor that moving gesture” and it took effect at 1 am on April 1, 2010. It’s a perfect timing for April Fool’s Day that’s why netizens thought that it was a prank made by Google. Google is Topeka, and Topeka is Google is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

Katy Perry Shows Off her Tits in a Bikini of the Day

Legally I’m not allowed to post the pictures of Katy Perry’s tits in a red bikini, not because Katy Perry annoys me so much that I’ve showed up at her house every day until she issued a restraining order, but because the paparazzi agency who was paid or who paid to get the rights to take these pics don’t like me because I offend the celebrities they pay to take exclusive pictures of and they don’t want to lose their business model….. Look, I get the whole “her tits are amazing” thign, and part of me can appreciate that about her, but I can’t forget that she is Katy Perry or that she is ugly as fuck, she shouldn’t be allowed out of the house without movie make-up or a mask on but she should be forced to always wear a bikini top because after staring at this for a few minutes…I realize she’s not so bad…Don’t get me wrong, I still hate her…and I still have hope that her and her annoying boyfriend Russell Brand are involved in a horrible plane crash on the way home. I feel like God’s been too good to them and needs to take it back. Not that you’re reading this you perverts…you’ve already clicked the link to see the rest of the pics… To See The Rest of the Pictures Follow This Link GO
