John Cho on A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, Meeting the World’s Leaders, and Talking Basketball with the President

The sweetest feel-good flick of the holiday season may well be the one about two ex-BFFs, who’d once gone in search of White Castle sliders and tangled with Homeland Security, who reunite on Christmas Eve to hunt down the perfect fir, crossing paths with drug-sniffing babies, Ukrainian gangsters, and a sweater-clad Danny Trejo along the way. Stoner heroes Harold and Kumar have come a long way since 2004 — and so has co-star John Cho , who sat down with Movieline recently to talk H&K, career moves, and his encounters with the likes of U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and President Obama.

The first image of Bill Murray as Franklin Delano Roosevelt has emerged from the behind the scenes of Hyde Park on Hudson , director Roger Michell’s tale of the great president’s royal visitors (and concurrent extramarital dalliance) in 1939. “”I wouldn’t have done it without him,” said Michell of the long “dance” to get Murray. “But after a year of waiting, I received a wonderful text that said, ‘Yes, I’ll do it.'” And here you have it. Video: Sandra Bullock’s Lost 1991 Audition Tape Shows Her Knack for Comedy, High-Waisted Jeans

Now that I’m finally over The Blind Side ‘s undeserved Oscar presence, I can get back to celebrating the things I love about Sandra Bullock. She is feisty! And sincere! And funny! In 1991, she’d apparently already nailed down that Bullockian trifecta, because she is positively charming in this audition tape from the beginning of her career. Check it out after the jump, along with the rest of Buzz Break (including Lindsay Lohan’s newest $1 million offer).

WATCH: The Avengers Trailer, ScarJo Nude Kerfuffle Get the Taiwanese Animation Treatment

In addition to giving the Gaddafi assassination the ol’ Taiwanese ‘toon treatment , the good folks at Next Media Animation have processed the recent Avengers trailer through their kooky CG filters. The result? One and a half minutes of hilarious superhero (and gyrating ScarJo ) action that imagines the titular crime fighters are called to assemble to battle the evil, cell phone-hacking, nude pic-distributing Loki. There’s no way the actual movie will be this entertaining. Stick around for more Buzz Break!

Piranha 3DD may have been pushed to 2012, but the new teaser trailer suggests that the quality and spirit of the franchise hasn’t been diluted. VIDEO: iPhone 4S’s Siri Responds to 2001: A Space Odyssey, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Prompts

Ok gadget hounds, so this Siri thing is pretty neat. AND she/it has a built-in sense for movie geekery, so if you happen to ask her, say, what the meaning of life is. (Answer: 42, duh.) Or slyly refer to the shenanigans of that uber-intelligent, all-knowing other futuristic supercomputer, HAL 9000. Johnny Depp Is Sorry, Didn’t Mean to Compare Photo Shoots to Rape

After an excerpt of his Vanity Fair interview hit yesterday in which he compared being photographed to being raped , Johnny Depp (whose Rum Diary hits screens in a few weeks) thought better of his word choice. “”I am truly sorry for offending anyone in any way. I never meant to. It was a poor choice of words on my part in an effort to explain a feeling. I understand there is no comparison and I am very regretful. In an effort to correct my lack of judgment, please accept my heartfelt apology.” No worries, Johnny. It’s Apology Wednesday ! Stick around for more Buzz Break.
