But it’s 2018 (almost 2019) which means it’s time to switch some things up. It’s time to change the way we think and how we view people who don’t fit the cookie cutter, mold. Just because you’re bigger, taller or curvier than some, it shouldn’t stop your confidence from shinning bright.   Just ask Rihanna . Riri may not be considered Plus Size, but she knows first hands what it feels like to be scrutinized for gaining a few extra pounds in Hollywood. In an interview with Vogue Magazine back in May, the Bad Gal revealed,  “ You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly. I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies. I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”   Rih isn’t the only celeb helping women put their best foot forward in life, despite their size. One of the great things about the fast and tasty meal is that it’s super easy to make at home. Check out the Food Network recipe for how to make the perfect taco at home below! Here’s what you need… Beef (can be substituted) : 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 yellow onion, diced 2 pounds ground beef 1/2 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper Fixins : 20 fajita-sized flour tortillas 18 hard taco shells 1 pound Cheddar-Jack cheese, grated 15 Roma tomatoes, diced 1 head green leaf lettuce, shredded Extras : guacamole, salsa, corn, sour cream, jalapeños Here’s what you need to do with it… 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. 2. For the beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and onions. Cook until starting to soften, then add the ground beef. Cook the meat until it’s totally browned, then drain the fat. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper and stir to combine. Add 1/2 cup hot water and stir. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. 3. For the fixins: Meanwhile, wrap the flour tortillas in foil and warm in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Right before serving, crisp the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions. 4. Serve with the grated cheese, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce. TIP : Start with a layer of lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and other toppings for an easier fold/roll up. Is Gladys Knight OK? Singer, Publicist Disagree Publicly About Her Health

It was widely reported Friday afternoon that during the funeral for Aretha Franklin , Knight revealed she had been stricken with pancreatic cancer — the same ailment the Queen of Soul died from earlier this month. However, a couple of hours after the reports from reputable news outlets like Ebony and the Detroit News, Knight’s publicist insisted the singer was just fine. “She’s healthy,” Javier Delgado told the Detroit Free Press. “Someone must have misinterpreted. During an interview with local television station WDIV-TV outside of the funeral, Knight seemed sure of her self when she said of Franklin , “We shared the fact that we had the same disease.” Knight’s health had never been a public concern until Friday. Prior to Franklin’s funeral, Knight had been seen at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York City just this week. People magazine published a story in February about how “ageless” the 74-year-old looked, dismissing rumors that the singer may have had plastic surgery. If Knight was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer , it would be sad but not surprising. Cancer has  been proven  to be more deadly for Black people, with that fact being resoundingly true for pancreatic cancer patients, statistics have shown since around 1970, when pancreatic cancer trends began reversing themselves along racial lines. “In white men, pancreatic cancer death rates decreased by 0.7% per year from 1970 to 1995 and then increased by 0.4% per year through 2009,” according to  research published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute . “In contrast, the rates among blacks increased between 1970 and the late 1980s (women) or early 1990s (men).” The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine took it a step further and  found through clinical research  that the “incidence of pancreatic cancer is 50 – 90% higher in African Americans than in any other racial group in the United States. I avoid Genevieve Morton content…. I just find her a bad vibe…overall washed up, played out, not very memorable, fired from Sports Illustrated Swim that was her lifeline, what must be 3-4 years ago, who never quite made it but thinks that she did, but was outshined by Kate Upton who did make it. She’s entitled, likes being around rich people, thinks she’s got what it takes to sit at the rich person table and in doing that has a bad snobby energy that shouldn’t be there because she’s really not that great… I’ve been watching her fall off and try to get back up…every year another year older…she’s quit drinking, turned to fitness…is still angry at the world… She’s tried blogging, or fucking being an influencer, but not getting paid too well and when offered deals…she turns on you and thinks she’s worth more than she is…making no one want to work with her… She’s just sitting around googling herself and the only thing she’s got is this taking nude pics for the fans…that I guess she spins as not being shameless or sex work…while that is exactly what it is. Her big titties are what the fans want to see, so show it to them, maybe they’ll buy your calendar that will pay your rent another year…rather than actually come up with a plan or a strategy….bottom feed that shit off poor dudes who bought into your tits when they used to wear bikinis… This half naked / naked act has been going on for awhile to keep her as relevant as a forgotten model can be, to keep the fans engaged…because she does have fans…weirdos but still fans. So next step…sex tapes maybe…I mean masturbating on Patreon or Premium Snapchat, it’d be the smart angle, but she thinks she’s too good for that, so instead she’ll pretend to be high brow…until she realizes she can be making 50k a month spreading her asshole to paying customers…and still pretend to be high brow.. There’s really nothing to be afraid of, and we’re here to make your reaction to Friday the 13th less fearful.     And more fierce.    First of all, c’mon everyone. It’s Friday! The best day of the whole damn week.   Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born on Friday the 13th. Those girls are freakin’ set for life. Maybe it means good luck after all.   In fact, Italian culture considers 13 a lucky number.     Black cats are actually the cutest.   The day is nothing more than an excuse to watch the original Friday the 13th movie, which is pretty great.
