I’m glad to see Selena Gomez in a bikini even if it’s not quite as revealing as I’d like (mostly because I think public nudity is still frowned on in the state of California). But I’m still pretty psyched to see this hottie finally getting back to work and using her talents. So enjoy, and here’s hoping there’s a lot more bikini shots where this came from.

Mom & Twin Daughters Dead In California Murder-Suicide This is incredibly sad . A mom and two of her three kids are dead after she reportedly set herself on fire inside her California home last weekend. The woman’s twin 14-year-old daughters were killed in the murder-suicide, while her 11-year-old daughter was injured but will recover, NYPost reports. The site states “Authorities say the girl was outside the house engulfed in flames Sunday and a police officer patrolling the area saw her. They say firefighters brought out the woman and her two daughters, but one of the twins died at the scene. The other teen and her mother died at a hospital.” In the wake of their untimely death, a video tribute was posted by the twins’ wrestling team. See that above.

According to Mashable , David Casarez was a college graduate who moved to Silicon Valley hoping to launch a startup. Unfortunately, he fell on hard times and had difficulty finding work, even with three years of software developer experience. David lived in his van until he wasn’t able to afford payments. Thus, he had to sleep in the park. This, however, didn’t stop David’s hustle. He stood on the side of the road in Mountain View, California, holding a sign saying he was homeless. But instead of asking for money or food, he handed out copies of his resume to folks passing by. “All I wanted was for one person to notice, take my resume and give me an opportunity,” he told NBC Bay Area . A photo of David’s efforts went up on Twitter and gained thousands of retweets. Today I saw this young homeless man asking for people to take a resume rather than asking for money. If anyone in the Silicon Valley could help him out, that would be amazing. Five undocumented pregnant women detained by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and CBP (Customs and Border Protection) have come forward in a report published by Buzzfeed News Monday saying that they were ignored by agents while miscarrying and described both agency’s contracted jailers as unwilling to respond to medical emergencies. Each of these women’s stories have been backed by statements from legal aid workers, medical workers and advocates who previously worked with ICE detainees. In one of the many case investigated by Buzzfeed, a 23-year-old detainee name E tells them: “An official arrived and they said it was not a hospital and they weren’t doctors. They wouldn’t look after me. I realized I was losing my son. It was his life that I was bleeding out. I was staining everything. I spent about eight days just lying down. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t do anything. I started crying and crying and crying. My soul aches that there are many pregnant women coming who could lose their babies like I did and that they will do nothing to help them.” According to the report, E (who didn’t want to use her full name out of fear) gave up her fight for asylum, accepted voluntary departure, and was deported back to El Salvador. But, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Buzzfeed News also noted that each of the incidents detailed were not limited to a single detention center. Reportedly, handful of medical workers and legal aid sources said they witnessed instances in which pregnant women were denied adequate medical care at more than six detention facilities across California, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Horrifying to say the least. In one of the testimony provided to the publication by the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), a pregnant woman said she was given clothing that was so tight, she suffered welts and a “pain in [her] uterus.” Another woman said she underwent repeated X-rays while pregnant despite the Federal Drug Administration’s warnings against. Sounds awful and traumatic! One of the women, who was seeking asylum feared she would die in El Salvador, says this cruel punishment of losing her unborn baby after attempting to cross United States borders with stick with her forever.

Terrible news today out of the music world: Tina Turner’s oldest son, Craig, was found dead at his home in Studio City, California at 12:58 p.m. this afternoon. He was 59 years old. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has confirmed this tragedy, telling multiple outlets that Craig was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities reportedly arrived at his residence just after noon and pronounced him dead just a short while later, at the scene. The aforementioned spokesperson told the press that a 911 call was placed, although it’s unclear just who made the call. Says the spokesperson in a little more detail: “The call was reported as a suicide, gun shot wound. The next of kin has been notified. There will be an autopsy done and there is an investigator at the scene.” Craig was born when Tina was 18 years old, prior to her up-and-down marriage Ike Turner. Once Tina and Ike were husband and wife, however, Ike adopted four-year old Craig. (His biological father was a saxophonist named Raymond Hill, who performed with Ike’s band.) This awful piece of news of comes as the legendary artist is making a rare trip outside her new home country of Switzerland to attend Paris Fashion Week events. Craig Turner worked in the real estate business in the San Fernando Valley. His mother is, simply put, one of the most successful and respected solo singers in history. She counts “What’s Love Got to Do With it” and “Proud Mary” among her best-known singles. Tina also starred in such movies as Mad Max: Thunderdome and Last Action Hero. Craig’s suicide, meanwhile, follows a sad rash of similar events around the entertainment world. Over the past few weeks alone, iconic fashiond designer Kate Spade has committed suicide, while beloved chef and author Anthony Bourdain has done the same. Both these stars took their own lives via hanging. Spade was 56 years old and Bourdain was 61. May they rest in peace and may Craig Turner rest in peace. In his first interview since his home was raided by the FBI, Cohen shared that his loyalty is his family and country first, not President Trump. Back in April, Cohen’s home and office were both raided in connection to a federal investigation into wire fraud, bank fraud, and campaign finance violations. Since then, Cohen has kept himself out of the public eye while awaiting new developments. ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos sat down with the former Trump fixer for a 45-minute discussion. From ABC News : But in his first in-depth interview since the FBI raided his office and homes in April, Cohen strongly signaled his willingness to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller and federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York — even if that puts President Trump in jeopardy. “My wife, my daughter and my son have my first loyalty and always will,” Cohen told me. “I put family and country first.” We spoke for 45 minutes Saturday evening at a Manhattan hotel, where Cohen has been staying for the past several months. And during that time, the question of whether Cohen might flip on the president has been the subject of intense speculation.
