Terrell Owens Overdose Suspected, 911 Call Placed

Officials responded to a 911 call about a possible prescription pill overdose at the L.A. apartment where former NFL star Terrell Owens was staying last week. Owens was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital Thursday night. Cops were dispatched to investigate and spoke with the 37-year-old at the hospital. Terrell has since been released and appears fine, but have to wonder what’s up, since the footballer had no comment for the first time in his entire adult life. These days, T.O. can only reflect on his career downfall . T.O. was infamously hospitalized back in 2006 amid reports that he tried to commit suicide by inhaling up to 35 Vicodin pills. He denied that categorically. He later held a news conference on the matter and said, “The rumor of me taking 35 pills is absurd. I don’t think I would be here if I had taken 35 pills.” Owens acknowledged a dependence on prescription painkillers at the time but said that incident was merely an accident. Will he claim the same here? We’ll have to wait and see exactly what the former 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills and Bengals wideout says … and if Evelyn Lozada weighs in. [Photo: WENN.com]

Joel Schumacher Tells Movieline About the Time He Wrote The Wiz

This week brings Trespass , the latest film from Joel Schumacher. The occasion prompted the opportunity for Movieline to have a candid, wide-ranging chat with the veteran filmmaker about his career, his critics and his humble origins as a costume designer in the 1970s. And despite his glossy new thriller starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman, one subject demanded even more attention: The Wiz , the Motown musical directed by Sidney Lumet and written, in his brief, scrappy scribe-for-hire days, by Schumacher.

Megan Fox’s Bra is Too Small of the Day

Despite popular belief, David from 90210 hasn’t killed off or caged Megan Fox, he hasn’t held her captive, although he might as well did, since marrying him has led her no where….if anything it has brought her into a bad place where she’s emotionally eating and unable to figure out that her old bra is too tight for her…maybe he is medicating her due to jealousy of her career, success, etc…or many he’s jus like most older guys who date young girls…controlling as fuck….or maybe she’s all medicated and confused on her own…cuz no one wants her anymore so she’s handling it badly….or maybe she’s just fucking pregnant and ready to have his kids, instead of pulling the Jesus Martinez and stepfathering the motherfuckers…. All this to say, Megan Fox lives…I’m not sure how good she still is, but it is good knowing when all crashes and burns this non-nude actor’s gonna be getting naked to just pay the mortgage and lifestyle and if that doesn’t bring you hope, then you have no fucking soul… Now stare and her titties getting squeezed tight by undergarmets like the little b-cup sluts they are….

Taylor Swift Says 2012 Album Is ‘About Moving On’

The 10 songs she’s written so far are ‘sad, if I’m being honest,’ she tells The New Yorker. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Swift Photo: Jordan Strauss/ Getty Images It’s been almost a year since Taylor Swift released the chart-topping Speak Now, which included the hits “Mine” and “Back to December.” Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the next country-crossover hits: Swift’s next album is due sometime in 2012. During an interview with The New Yorker, Swift said she recently decided that life is “about achieving contentment … you’re not always going to be ridiculously happy” — and that newly discovered viewpoint is leaking into her new music. Throughout her career, we’ve seen Swift grow from a wide-eyed girl who sings about puppy love to a been-there, done-that young woman who understands heartbreak. Her new songs certainly fit into the progression. “They’re sad, if I’m being honest,” she said of the 10 songs she’s written so far, adding that a recent track she wrote “is about moving on.” Of her abilities as a vocalist, Swift said singing is really just the vehicle to get her ideas out into the world. “I write songs, and my voice is just a way to get those lyrics across,” she said. In an interview with MTV News earlier this year, Swift said her ability to express her feelings in song has grown nearly as much as she has as a person. “I think retrospect will tell a lot. Years from now, I’ll look back and go, ‘I didn’t know anything then,’ ” she said. “I had this song called ‘Picture to Burn’ that’s talking about how ‘I hate your truck’ and ‘I hate that you ignored me,’ ‘I hate you,’ ” she explained. “Now, the way that I would say that and the way that I would feel that kind of pain is a lot different.” Until Swift does put out new music, her fans can look forward to a concert album and DVD special called “Speak Now World Tour – Live,” dropping November 21. It will include live versions of tracks like “Mine,” “Story of Us,” “Mean” and Back to December.” What are you expecting from Taylor Swift’s new music? Let us know in the comments! Method Man And Irv Gotti To Roll Through ‘RapFix Live’

Check them out Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com! By Rob Markman Method Man Photo: Fergus McDonald/ Getty Images When he first stepped on the scene, suckers were petrified. Now, Method Man has grown into one of hip-hop’s most beloved MCs. He isn’t known to do a ton of interviews, but on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com, Mr. Meth will chop it up with Sway on “RapFix Live.” In 1993, the Wu-Tang Clan seemingly came out of nowhere, but now it’s pretty hard to imagine hip-hop without the nine-man Staten Island group. Method Man emerged as the crew’s first superstar (but certainly not the last) thanks to his standout solo Wu single and Mary J. Blige duet “All I Need.” These days, Meth is hitting the road with rappers Curren$y and Smoke DZA and working on his fifth solo album. When he hits the “RapFix” couch, fans can expect Meth to discuss his growth, Wu-Tang’s legacy and the future direction of his career. Check Styles P, Glasses Malone and Mistah Fab on last week’s “RapFix Live.” Just as Method Man evolved from local rap artist to worldwide superstar, Irv Gotti went from a little-known Queens, New York, DJ to one of music’s most successful executives. After spearheading the career of 1990s rap breakout Mic Geronimo, Irv raised his stock by helping Jay-Z, DMX and Ja Rule all land deals at Def Jam Records in the mid- to late ’90s. As a producer, Irv has crafted hits for Jay, DMX and Ja, as well as Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti and Foxy Brown. Things went sour when Gotti’s Murder Inc. record label was put on trial by the federal government for money laundering, and though Irv and his brother Chris were found not guilty in December 2005, the label never quite regained its footing. Through it all, Gotti has remained one of the industry’s most electric personalities and premier hitmakers. There is no telling what Irv will reveal when he hits the “RapFix” couch. Catch Method Man and Irv Gotti on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday, October 5, at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com! Related Artists Method Man Irv Gotti

T.I. Gets King’s Welcome At ’11 BET Hip Hop Awards

Newly freed Tip opened the show, while Eminem, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, many more electrified crowd at show airing October 11. By Rob Markman T.I. at the 2011 BET Awards Photo: Chris McKay/ Getty Images ATLANTA — It was only fitting the “King of the South” made his regal return on a stage so close to where his troubles began back in 2007, but also so near where he first got his start in the game. After completing his 11-month prison sentence on Thursday, T.I. opened the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards with Young Jeezy as the two performed the Snowman’s new single “F.A.M.E.” The awards show, which taped at the Atlanta Civic Center on Saturday, is set to air on Tuesday, October 11; comedian Mike Epps hosted with assistance from Da Brat. While T.I. arguably provided the show’s grandest moment, Rick Ross and his Maybach Music crew, Lupe Fiasco, Big Sean, Heavy D, DMX and Wiz Khalifa all electrified the crowd with hyped-up performances throughout the night. Rap legend LL Cool J received the show’s highest honor when he was presented with the I Am Hip-Hop Award for his career of achievements in music, movies and television. The awards show’s black carpet was equally star-studded. Rival rap crews like Ross’ Maybach Music rubbed shoulders with G-Unit’s newest members Shawty Lo and Kidd Kidd in a show of peace, love and appreciation for the culture. As most fans know, BET’s pre-taped rap ciphers typically generate some the of the ceremony’s most buzz-worthy moments, with memorable performances from Kayne’s G.O.O.D. Music crew, Mos Def and the Roots’ Black Thought going viral in recent years. This year, the network upped the ante adding more rhyme ciphers than ever before. MCs like French Montana, Tech N9ne, Big K.R.I.T., Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Maybach Music Group, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and Eminem all traded rhymes while DJ Premier spun the beats. Among the leading nominees are Lil Wayne (who earned a record-setting 18 nods), Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and Waka Flocka Flame, while stars like NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire, Tracee Ellis Ross and Nelly were among the presenters. Tune in to the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday, October 11, at 8pm ET to see who took home the prizes! Related Artists T.I.

B.o.B Reveals Album Title, Strange Clouds

The follow-up to his breakout The Adventures of Bobby Ray is tentatively due in ‘early spring.’ By James Montgomery B.o.B Photo: Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images B.o.B teamed up with Lil Wayne on the brand-new “Strange Clouds,” and apparently he liked the result so much he’s decided to name his album after it. During an interview with Atlanta radio station V-103 , B.o.B confirmed that the follow-up to his massive The Adventures of Bobby Ray album would, in fact, be called Strange Clouds. The singer spoke about the lead-off single, saying it just seemed like the logical choice to launch the next phase of his career. ” ‘Strange Clouds’ … is the first single off my sophomore album, [which is] actually titled Strange Clouds, ” he told V-103. “Wayne actually got on it pretty quick. It was a quick turnaround. We were kind of debating on it, man, but we just felt like this is the song that should go first. I feel really strong about it and I like to take my time with music. “When you do a song with somebody, it’s basically like you’re starting a business with that person … it creates a lot of opportunities,” he continued. “I’m glad that he blessed me with a verse, man, and it’s the first single off my album, so I’m excited about it.” B.o.B added that Strange Clouds would hit stores in “early spring,” adding that, “I want it to be sooner!” Earlier this year, he told MTV News that fans should expect “some surprises” on the new disc and subsequently called it “a real special project.” And though the title track features Weezy, producer Jim Jonsin recently let it be known that folks expecting a sequel to The Adventures of Bobby Ray — and the sundry of features it, uh, featured — might be disappointed, because Strange Clouds is very much a B.o.B project. “What Bob wanted to do was go into the lab himself and spend his time creating what he wanted his album to have, the direction he wanted,” Jonsin told MTV News. “So we’re waiting on him to come back with that house that he’s built so we can go ahead and put all the fixtures in and try to help with it.” Related Artists B.o.B
