Miley Cyrus Says She’s ‘Not Trying To Be Slutty’

Singer wants her new sound and look to be consistent. By Gil Kaufman Miley Cyrus Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images There was the faux girl-on-girl kiss , the sudden fascination with hot pants and micro shorts and the $25,000 corset and low-cut top from her “Can’t Be Tamed” video . Miley Cyrus, 17, is clearly going through some changes as she emerges from her gilded “Hannah Montana” cage and tries to assert her womanhood while making sure not to leave her legion of adoring teenage fans in her feather-and-lace wake. Her recent way grown-up sartorial choices have raised some eyebrows, though, and in an interview with The Associated Press, the singer made it clear that she doesn’t think she’s gone too far. “I’m not trying to be ‘slutty,’ ” Cyrus said while promoting the release of Can’t Be Tamed, which hit stores Tuesday (June 15). “I’m not trying to be like, go to the club and get a bunch of guys. … What I’m trying to do is to make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my record sounds and the way I dress.” Like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera before her, Cyrus is finding that navigating the transition from squeaky-clean singer/actress to more mature pop star is not always seamless, and criticism and questions are par for the course. Cyrus, who is dating Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, admitted to having a predilection for short shorts and hot pants but said she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with showing off her legs. “I’m really comfortable with my body, I work really hard to be fit and to know that I can wear whatever makes me most comfortable,” she said. “I feel more comfortable dressing with a little less, which is just how I’ve always been. … Now I’m able to do that a little more freely and, also, I’ve just grown up to be this way too. It’s not like this was me five years ago. It’s me now, presently.” Cyrus is likely to make even bolder moves later this year when she hangs up the “Montana” blond wig for good , and she’s looking forward to ending that chapter of her career. “When you’re 11, the word you would use to describe someone is definitely not sexy, and as you get older I think you grow into that,” she said of the role she took on as a preteen. “And I think I’ve done that, but that’s not my shtick. That’s not what I’m trying to do to sell records. I want people to buy my record because of my music.” In describing the concept of the avian-themed “Can’t Be Tamed” video last month, Cyrus said her friends and fans have been waiting for her to move on to the next incarnation of her public persona, and she thinks they’ll be proud of what she’s come up with. “It’s not a new Miley; it’s just a new part of me,” Cyrus said about the video, which she called the first step toward “growing up” for the fellow tween girls who have grown up with her “Montana” character. Drake’s Thank Me Later: A Track-By-Track Guide

Drizzy pulls out the big guns (Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys) for his much-anticipated debut. By Shaheem Reid and Jayson Rodriguez Drake Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/ Getty Images Thank him later or thank him now — 23-year-old Aubrey ” Drake ” Graham is confident you will be saying ” gracias. ” The long-anticipated, much-hyped Thank Me Later has finally arrived in stores. Now everyone has the opportunity to digest the body of work, and we’ll see how big an impact the LP makes on the SoundScan charts next week. Here is our guide to the album: 1. “Fireworks” (featuring Alicia Keys) With A. Keys helping out on the chorus, Drake sets the tone of the album, thinking aloud with candor. He hopes success and fame never lead him and Lil Wayne to have conflict. He also speaks on a brief relationship with Rihanna and expounds on family strife. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Everything’s the same, but it feels different/ My dad call me up, knowing that I still listen/ And he still got his foot out, guilt trippin’/ It’s been years/ I just learned to deal with it.” 2. “Karaoke” Produced by tourmates Francis and the Lights, the second track on the album goes down light, like a cool glass of chardonnay. Young Drizzy sings for the most part on this one, with a brief rap at the end, about a relationship frayed by his career. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “I know they say the first love is the sweetest/ But that first cut is the deepest/ I tried to keep us together/ You were busy keeping secrets/ Secrets you were telling everybody but me/ Don’t be fooled by the money/ I’m still just young and unlucky.” 3. “The Resistance” Drake proclaims that the hip-hop game needed life, so he put his heart in it. This track may be the album’s most revealing, as he deals with friends saying he “changed” and getting robbed at gunpoint. The crime was apparently orchestrated by a girl he was close to. The 23-year-old also sheds a little light on almost becoming a father. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “This woman I messed with unprotected/ Texted and said she wish she would’ve kept it/ The one I’m laying next to just looked over and read it/ Man, I couldn’t tell you where the f— my head is.” 4. “Over” The rumbling first single completes Drake’s transition from breakout mixtape So Far Gone to Thank Me Later. Up until this point — both in sound and topic — his debut has served as an extension of last year’s set. On “Over,” the stakes are bigger, from the production to Drizzy’s introspection, as he paints a picture of paranoia mixed with euphoria. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Y’all know them?/ Well f— it, me either/ But point the biggest skeptic out/ I’ll make them a believer/ It wouldn’t be the first time I done it, throwing hundreds/ When I should be throwing ones/ Bi—, I run it.” 5. “Show Me a Good Time” Young, rich and out of control — well, maybe not too out of control. As the album progresses, Drake settles into one of the LP’s feel-good anthems. He laughs in the face of haters and puts some of that hard-earned money as one of hip-hop’s new kings to good use. Shots on Drizzy. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Call me overrated or created or too jaded/ Because any way you put it, bi—, I made it.” 6. “Up All Night” (featuring Nicki Minaj) Drake takes it to the clubs for this Nicki Minaj collabo, on which the two Young Money titans talk so much ish, their breath stinks. They pledge allegiance to their crew, pop bottles and clothing tags and leave losers in their wake. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Cap on, brim bent/ Denzel every time/ She ain’t tryna pop that sh– for pimp/ OK, well, never mind/ I-I-I-I tried to told you: Drizzy still ain’t nothing nice/ Bracelet saying you should quit/ Car saying f— your life.” 7. “Fancy” (featuring Swizz Beatz and T.I.) A sure shot to become a women’s anthem. If this were the 1990s, we would say the ladies the fellas rap about here “got it goin’ on.” Their hair is did, their money is looking right, nails painted like an old-school Chevy in Houston. The triumphant trio salute the independent gals who have their own. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Mature women with more than me were the first to tempt me/ And Jason had this girl Tammy with a purple Bentley/ How she got it, I ain’t never get to ask/ I just know she was fine like a ticket on the dash/ Yeah, but shout-out to the home-owners/ Girls who got diplomas and enough money to loan us.” 8. “Shut It Down” (featuring The-Dream) Drake channels his inner lothario on this slow-burner with his spiritual R&B mentor, The-Dream. The two trade verses on the swoon-inducing duet before Drake closes things out with a rap. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Say, baby, I had to mention/ That if you were a star, you’d be the one I’m searching for/ Other girls they got attention/ But I just always feel like they’re in need of something you got/ It’s obvious you’re pretty/ Heard that you’re a student/ Working weekends in the city/ Trying to take you out, girl/ Hope you’re not too busy.” 9. “Unforgettable” (featuring Young Jeezy) A sample of Aaliyah’s angelic voice blesses the beginning of the record as Drizzy and Young Jizzle give insight as to what it means to be on top. They want their impact to leave a lasting impression. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Yeah, I remember I used to have to sneak the car/ Now my insides are lookin’ like a Snickers bar/ Yeah, I’m talking caramel leathers/ Damn right, so fly I need feathers/ Same sh– in them streets, so what’s the dealy?/ I done everything in the A but f— Chilli.” – Young Jeezy 10. “Light Up” (featuring Jay-Z) The young upstart and the veteran MC square off on this track, which Drake called a second “turning point” of the album after “Over.” A defiant Drizzy taunts his detractors, firing off lyrical salvos before Hov lays out the blueprint for how the Toronto lyricist’s enemies will target him. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “And I’m just filling up this daily planner/ Getting busy ’cause I’m a star, no spangled banner/ Jealous dudes get to talking in their music/ And I just say I wrote it for your girlfriends, Kelsey Grammer.” 11. “Miss Me” (featuring Lil Wayne) The horns are blaring, Drake is stunting hard. He admits to a crush on Nicki Minaj and even mentions nuptials. Later, Wayne comes in and plays Albert Pujols as cleanup hitter, with another unorthodox but decidedly dope verse. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “Turn you to a vegetable like you laying in soup/ And when I’m in the booth, bi—, the lion is loose/ Man, I got so many styles, I am a group/ Damn, I’ll be gone till November/ But f— it, I ain’t trippin’/ I know Drizzy gonna kill ’em.” – Lil Wayne. 12.”CeCe’s Interlude” This serene interlude matches the one Drake delivered on So Far Gone, “Bria’s Interlude.” The two-minute number is an intimate and blunt testimony — no wooing, just Drake pouring his heart out. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “I wish I wasn’t famous/ I wish I was still in school/ So that I could have you in my dorm room/ I would put it on you.” 13. “Find Your Love” It’s sexy, it’s energetic, it sounds like nothing else on the radio right now. Drake puts all his cards on the table, telling a woman he’ll give her all his love and she better do the same in return. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “I’m more than just an option (hey, hey, hey)/ Refuse to be forgotten (hey, hey, hey)/ I took a chance with my heart (hey, hey, hey)/ And I feel it taking over.” 14. “Thank Me Now” The LP opened dark and closes on a high note. The Toronto blue chip gets in his b-boy stance and throws darts, solidifying his spot as one of the best MCs in hip-hop. Can’t-Miss Lyrics : “I could relate to kids going straight to the league/ When they recognize that you got what it takes to succeed/ And that’s around the time that your idols become your rivals/ You make friends with Mike but gotta AI him for your survival/ Damn, I swear sports and music are so synonymous/ ‘Cause we wanna be them, and they wanna be us.” Have you gotten your hands on Thank Me Later yet? Could Drake’s Thank Me Later Sell A Million In Its First Week?

Experts are skeptical of Drake joining Lil Wayne, Eminem in exclusive hip-hop club. By Jayson Rodriguez Drake Photo: Walik Goshorn It’s a benchmark in hip-hop that only two MCs have ever realized: selling 1 million album units during an opening release week. Eminem achieved the feat — with his second and third albums, The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show, respectively — and in 2008, Lil Wayne joined the exclusive club as he pushed seven-digits worth of his sixth set, Tha Carter III, an act that cemented his ascent to super-stardom. Kanye West came close with his third collection, Graduation, but stalled just short of the platinum plateau. And 50 Cent is the only debuting rapper who ever came anywhere near the mark when he pushed more than 800,000 copies of Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Now, on the verge of releasing his major label debut, Thank Me Later , many are wondering whether Drake — last year’s mixtape wunderkind — can deliver on all of the hype to become only the third rapper to break the one-million mark in first week sales. “I always said that his setup was so impeccable, so crazy, that I just thought he would get really close to 1 million,” Vibe magazine editor-in-chief Jermaine Hall told MTV News. “The one thing he needed was that big record and I don’t think he was able to get his ‘Lollipop’ out the gate,” he said referring to Wayne’s breakout Carter III single. “But still, I think the setup is incredible and I expect him to sell 500,000 to 600,000 the first week.” While “Find Your Love” is a favorite among Drake’s fans, the Kanye West-produced single has yet to crack the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The melodic track followed Drake’s first official single from Thank Me Later, the brooding “Over,” an unconventional ode to the paranoia fame can bring; not an especially traditional pair of singles for an upstart rapper. Also, Thank Me Later, while highly anticipated, is just the latest offering from Drake, who has released a string of records post- So Far Gone, from “Fear” to Forever.” Add to that the fact that his album leaked online well ahead of its June 15 release date. “Obviously, it’s 2010, it’s not 2003 anymore and the industry has changed a lot and I think everyone has sort of had to trim their expectations because of that,” Entertainment Weekly ‘s Simon Vozick-Levinson said. “That’s not something that reflects on Drake personally, it’s just that it’s hard to sell records. To look at some more recent examples of people who have sold more than 500,000 [in a week], Sade did that, Eminem, last year, did about 600,000. These are artists who were gone for a while that had big fan bases waiting for an album to come out. Drake is at a different place in his career.” The EW scribe also said he believed Drake would not cross the one-million mark, instead predicting sales of 300,000 to 400,000 copies of his debut. XXL ‘s Bonsu Thompson shared the same sentiments, predicting 400,000-plus sales; he noted Drake’s achievements and emphasized the rapper’s long-term potential, even as he drew the line below gold certification and well below platinum. “I don’t think Drake will do a million his first week,” Thompson said. “First, you have to compare it to the rapper who did achieve that, that was Lil Wayne. You have to look at all the elements that contributed to him selling 1 million in the first week. I don’t think [Drake] has that smash single. The girls like ‘Find Your Love’ and the guys dig ‘Over,’ but it’s not like that smash crossover, where everyone is in a state of panic and we have to have this album right now.” Much like box office tallies, first-week sales in music make for splashy headlines, yet ultimately a blockbuster’s health is measured not by the opening haul but by how strong the project fends off sharp dips and maintains a steady stream of revenue. A true star’s worth may lie in his ability to avoid the dreaded second-week dive. That’s the theory the New York Times ‘ Jon Caramanica subscribes to, noting Drake’s own goal may not be realized via those first-week sales. Instead, he noted Drake’s ambitious plans, outlining how the rapper’s sales down the road may be a better indicator of the impact of his debut. “I think the real question for Drake is what are his fifth-week numbers, what are his 10th-week numbers, what are his 20th-week numbers, if he still pops in July, in August, in September, then that’s a win,” Caramanica told MTV News. “Then it doesn’t matter if he sells a million the first week. But if he’s gonna last, that’s the thing, that’s a Kanye, that’s a Wayne, that’s a Jay. And I think ultimately, that’s the guy he wants to be considered as. I don’t think anyone should get bent out of shape. They should get bent out of shape if he only sells two [copies].” Do you think Drake will sell a million copies of his debut in the first week? UFC 115: Liddell Confident Against Franklin

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight king Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell vowed to come down hard on Rich “The Ace” Franklin in his first fight since his 14-month lay off from mixed martial arts. Liddel said he’s very much in shape, probably the best in his career. This, he said, spells trouble for Franklin, a former UFC champion himself. “I think I’m in the best shape I’ve been for a long time,” said The Iceman in a UFC promotional video. “He better be ready for me, I’m coming hard.” The former UFC champions will exchange blows at the ufc 115 live stream at the General Motors Place in the City of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Saturday. Liddell hasn’t fought since his technical knockout (TKO) loss to Mauricio Rua in UFC 97 in April 2009. But his stint in “Dancing with the Stars” has helped keep him in shape before training camp for UFC 115. The Iceman said he will use his “ever reliable” right hand, which he used to topple some of the best fighters in the Octagon such as Randy “The Natural” Couture and Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort. He said it will be a perfect foil for a left hander like Franklin. “I’ll always go back to the big right hand, especially with a south paw, there’s a lot of opportunities to do him with a right hand,” said Liddell, who has 21 wins against 7 losses. Franklin, meanwhile, is coming from a lay-off himself. The Ace, a former UFC middleweight champion, had spent some down time from MMA after undergoing hernia surgery. He claimed he wasn’t worried about what Liddell can do to him. “I’m not concerned about Chuck, I’m not worried about what Chuck has been doing, I gotta worry about what I’m doing,” said Franklin. The Ace said he will probably take advantage of the “weakness” in Liddell’s fighting stance with a lot of low kicks. “Chuck’s fighting stance is really a lot wider, especially on that front leg. We’re emphasizing the times that I can take advantage of that. We’re going to do a lot of inside movement, using jabs and feints to set up inside kicks,“ said Franklin, who has compiled a record of 27 victories, 5 defeats and 1 no contest (NC). UFC commentator Joe Rogan said the Liddell-Franklin fight will be a very interesting match up between a devastating puncher and technical stand-up fighter. “Chuck Liddell is one of the greatest knockout artist in the history of the sport. He has devastating power in his hands, his knees and his kicks… Rich Dranklin is the type of guy that’s gonna formula a really good game plan for a specific opponent. It’s going to be interesting to see how he’s gonna deal with the power of Chuck Liddell,” said Rogan. UFC 115: Liddell Confident Against Franklin is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

Black Rob Calls Post-Prison Material ‘A Testament’ To His Longevity

‘I can come home and do it again,’ the onetime Bad Boy MC tells Mixtape Daily. By Shaheem Reid Black Rob Photo: MTV News The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive Black Rob makes no excuses. He knows his career as an MC could have been more successful than it has been, but when asked where the blame should fall, he points the finger at the man in the mirror. Rob was forced to take a four-year hiatus from the rap game when he went to prison in 2006 on grand larceny charges. Back in 2004, Black Rob stole some jewelry from a fellow guest at the On the Avenue Hotel in Manhattan, and he was caught on tape. Rob says it was a move he regretted almost as soon as he made it. As far as his decade-plus stint on Diddy’s Bad Boy records, Rob (real name Robert Ross) admitted his attention wasn’t where it was supposed to be. He’s only delivered two albums, 1999’s critically acclaimed Life Story — which spawned the classic “Whoa!” — and 2005’s The Black Rob Report. “I’mma tell you like this,” Rob told Mixtape Daily . “I’m blaming myself for that. I wasn’t focused. I was running around wild-style. I’m out of town. I’m [telling my label]: ‘I’m never coming back to New York.’ I didn’t have the work ethic that I have right now. If I had the work ethic that I have right now, I’d probably be 10 albums deep. But things happen. We not gonna cry over it. One thing I do know is that the two albums I did put out, they solidified my name and a brand. Therefore, I can come home and do it again. Those two albums left the door wide-open. Like, ‘B.R. is nasty. He can come right back.’ Not too many people can do what I’m doing right now. Come back home after doing four joints, five joints and pop off again,” the rapper said, referring to his time behind bars. “This is a testament right now.” Rob was released from prison in May and he’s already recorded more than 25 songs. The Spanish Harlem native says he does three tracks a day now. His new street CD is dropping within the next couple of weeks. “We got the mixtape Game Tested, Street Approved,” he said. “We gonna do five volumes of that. Five is always power in [principles of] mathematics. We gonna do five of those and crush ’em with that. Then we got the album, probably not this year, but the beginning of next year, second quarter or something. Name of the album is Losing’s Not an Option. This is what we do. So this is the big words for the day: ‘Losing’s not an option.’ ” Blacko has already released several songs to the Net and the street in advance of the mixtape. ” ‘Ventilation,’ basically it speaks for itself,” Rob said. “I’m venting. I said some things on there. People might feel some kind of way or put the shoe on their foot. But at this point, we don’t care who feels some kind of way. It’s talking about cats in the street, as well as cats in the industry. ‘New York,’ that joint is an old classic. I did that record when I was on my way to prison. It was fitting for me to do a type of record like that because when you in prison, all you think about is New York. ‘I’m going in, I’mma do this time and come home.’ ‘Shake a Leg’ is just me on my B.S. Showing rhyme skills and talking about real stuff as usual.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines or follow the Mixtape Daily team on Twitter: @shaheemreid and @mongosladenyc .

Green Day Say ‘Rock Band’ Makes Them ‘Look Like Superheroes’

The band has some wacky ideas for what else game’s developers can do with their avatars. By James Montgomery “Green Day: Rock Band” One of — OK, probably the — biggest perk in getting your own video game is actually being in the game itself. At least that’s what the guys in Green Day told us when we asked them about the just-released “Green Day: Rock Band.” It seems that, much like James Cameron, the band was avatar crazy. “We look like superheroes!” frontman Billie Joe Armstong laughed. “You know, it’d be interesting if they made the ‘Rock Band’ version of us getting out of bed in the morning, you know, like, scratching yourself and then making coffee.” “They were pretty gracious. They didn’t give me nearly as many pimples as I had when I was younger,” bassist Mike Dirnt added of the game’s developers. “They managed to somehow make me look a little better than I did when I was younger [and] now too.” And while “Rock Band” may make Armstong, Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool look even better than they normally do (no offense intended) and goes to great length to capture their likenesses at various stages in their career — from scowling, scatological-minded kids to well-worn, worldly vets — the guys in Green Day wonder why the developers didn’t take the avatar technology one step further. The way they see it, the possibilities are endless. “They’ve got to come up with like, a beer bottle, for [when] you’ll play the guitar, and then you reach for a drink and then, you can get points right there … it’s like, the whole graphic will show up, you know?” Armstrong smiled. “A lit cigarette at the top of the guitar, [smoke it] put it back. [There’s] no end to the possibilities.” And if the avatar situation can be that advanced, why stop there? “There could be interviews in the game too. Like, a concept where you have a journalist that comes up with the microphone and [the player] will have a microphone and have to match the interview,” Armstrong said. “You know, get it right, you get points off that. It’s a great idea — you guys, are you writing this down?” “They can call it ‘Embedded Journalist 2!’ ” Dirnt laughed. MTV News is celebrating the release of “Green Day: Rock Band” with a week of special coverage. For more on the game, check out our blog. MSNBC’s Tamron Hall: Carly Fiorina ‘Like Lindsay Lohan Movie, Mean Girls’

During the 11AM ET hour on MSNBC, anchor Contessa Brewer discussed open mic comments made by senatorial candidate Carly Fiorina with Huffington Post writer Ryan Grim and remarked that the California Republican has “the ‘Mean Girls’ mentality” and “comes off like that Lindsay Lohan movie ‘Mean Girls.'” Hall was referring to Fiorina making fun of Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer’s hairstyle on air before a television interview on Wednesday. Grim completely agreed with Hall’s assessment: “Oh yeah, absolutely. It makes her look terrible. It doesn’t put her in a very good light.” Though he added: “But it’s not something so extreme that it’s going to annihilate her.” Earlier, Grim actually observed that Fiorina “really did dodge a bullet here.” He explained: “…what she said isn’t going to disqualify her from election. It makes her look a little bit silly, a little bit petty, but it’s not going to be something that destroys her candidacy or her career like you had with somebody like Helen Thomas a week or so ago.” Hall also pointed out Fiorina questioning her Republican colleague, California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, holding her first post-primary interview with FNC’s Sean Hannity. Hall noted it was “something that may hurt her at least with a big name over at Fox” and asked Grim if Fiorina had started a “blood fight with Sean Hannity.” Grim responded by arguing that Fiorina had made a “reasonable assessment” but concluded “…to see her make the assessment shows her to be calculating. Everybody calculates. But to have it put in front of your face like that, again, just doesn’t put you in the best of light.” Here is a full transcript of the June 10 segment: 11:10AM EST TAMRON HALL: And back to politics. It has happened again. Another politician caught speaking candidly into an open mic, but not realizing that that mic was on. This time it’s Carly Fiorina, who just won the Republican primary in California’s Senate race. Yesterday morning, fresh off her celebration, Fiorina was miked for an interview with a local station in Sacramento. Here’s what she had to say about her opponent, Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer. FIORINA: Lauda saw Barbara Boxer briefly on television this morning and said what everyone says, ‘God, what is that hair?’ [Laughs] So yesterday. [ON-SCREEN HEADLINE: Open Mic Blunder; Fiorina Mocks Barbara Boxer’s Hairstyle] HALL: Well, what is she saying today? Ryan Grim is with the Huffington Post. And Ryan, by all accounts Fiorina and her team are trying to dismiss this as not a big deal. So is it? RYAN GRIM: Well, in a big way, Fiorina really did dodge a bullet here. She was, you know, talking completely candidly with the camera on her that was going to get out. And what she said isn’t going to disqualify her from election. It makes her look a little bit silly, a little bit petty, but it’s not going to be something that destroys her candidacy or her career like you had with somebody like Helen Thomas a week or so ago. What this is, is  kind of a warning shot to candidates across the country. Now think about this, any Senate candidate who’s running in 2010, last ran in 2004. That was a year before YouTube came out. So each of these candidates running for re-election needs to think about Fiorina when they’re at fundraisers, that they think are private, when they’re at their town hall meetings, everything that they do in their life is going to be filmed, and it’s only one press of a button away from going up on YouTube and circulating around the country, so- HALL: Ryan, this is a talker, though, for a lot of reasons, I think because here you have a woman kind of dissing another woman’s hairstyle, mocking her hair, when if a guy had said that, she of course would say ‘it’s about my brain, it’s about my accomplishments, how dare you go to the lowest common denominator and talk about me,’ and it made me think about the ‘Mean Girls’ mentality. Here’s this powerful, political voice, and it kind of comes off like that Lindsay Lohan movie ‘Mean Girls’ where this person doesn’t look like I think she should look. GRIM: Oh yeah, absolutely. It makes her look terrible. It doesn’t put her in a very good light. But it’s not something so extreme that it’s going to annihilate her. If a male candidate had said that about Barbara Boxer, you know, it’s unclear exactly, you know, what effect that would have. I’m sure the conversation would be a different one, you’re right. HALL: Well, people would be saying he’s sexist. But I want to play something that may hurt her at least with a big name over at Fox. Let’s play what she said about or alluded to, regarding Sean Hannity. FIORINA: I think it’s bizarre. I mean, she’s never been on Sean Hannity. I think it’s a very bad choice, actually. You know how he is….But why, after saying no to all these people, would you go on Sean Hannity? HALL: She’s talking about Meg Whitman making an appearance on Sean Hannity. So does this put her in a blood fight with Sean Hannity, then? GRIM: Well, we’re all going to be looking forward to the next interview that she does with Sean Hannity, that’s for sure. What this also does is it shows her making political calculations. It’s what every politician does, but they do it behind closed doors and they do it with their advisers. And even though this is politics, there’s something bizarrely unseemly about playing politics in it. You know, she’s saying, look, the politics of the day after the primary going on TV with Sean Hannity, that doesn’t look good. You know, and that probably is a reasonable assessment. But to see her make the assessment shows her to be calculating. Everybody calculates. But to have it put in front of your face like that, again, just doesn’t put you in the best of light. HALL: Alright, Ryan, greatly appreciate you coming on, talking about it. See you later. GRIM: Thanks for having me. HALL: Thank you.

Miley Cyrus in a See Through Dress of the Day

I don’t know what is going on in this picture of Miley Cyrus or where it is fun but apparently she’s prepping for some photoshoot, and I don’t really care, because I’m impressed with her hustle… Seriously, I like whatever it is that she is doing with her career, no matter how obvious or text book it is, cuz really a half naked Miley Cyrus at 17, is better than one taking the traditional country route for the Christians, cuz not only is Christianity an outdated theology, but it’s also boring as fuck…. I’ve never even liked Miley. I used to find her ugly, boring and I’d tease her sexual relationship with Disney Execs that made her millions, supporting her young whore attitude, without actually knowing whether she was actually a whore or if that was just fantasy cuz she was so prude and boring….but now, I know and I guess you always did, cuz you’re a fucking dirtbag who has been deprived of teen pussy cuz the USA doesn’t like that shit, while Canada and the UK does…maybe you should move.
