Rue McClanahan, ‘Golden Girls’ Star, Dead At 76

Actress, who portrayed Blanche Devereaux on show, suffered a massive stroke. By Kara Warner Rue McClanahan Photo: Evan Agostini/ ImageDirect Rue McClanahan , the Emmy-winning actress who starred as the saucy Blanche Devereaux in the hit TV series “The Golden Girls,” died early Thursday morning of a massive stroke, according to multiple reports. She was 76. “She passed away at 1 a.m.,” her manager, Barbara Lawrence, told People.com . “She had a massive stroke.” McClanahan had suffered a minor stroke earlier this year while recovering from triple bypass surgery. McClanahan’s rep told the magazine that at the time of her death Thursday, McClanahan “had her family with her. She went in peace.” McClanahan was born on February 21, 1934, in Healdton, Oklahoma. After majoring in theater at the University of Tulsa, began her career as an actress in the mid-1950s, appearing in off-Broadway productions in New York. She made her Broadway debut in 1969, in the role of Sally Weber in the musical “Jimmy Shine,” and soon moved from the stage to daytime with a role on the soap opera “Another World” in 1970. It wasn’t until landing the part of Vivian Harmon in TV’s “Maude” (which starred a pre-“Golden Girls” Bea Arthur), however, that she would achieve the notoriety that led to landing her famous role on “Golden Girls.” In recent years, McClanahan had appeared on TV shows “Meet the Browns,” “Law & Order” and “Sordid Lives: The Series.” Arthur died of cancer last year; co-star Estelle Getty passed away in 2008. Betty White, the sole surviving “Girl,” has been enjoying a wave of success and attention of late. At 88, she hosted “Saturday Night Live” last month, co-starred in the box office hit, “The Proposal,” and received a lifetime achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild last year.

Ahead on Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami: Scott Disick Nude, Angry, Scripted

We’ve gotta give credit to the writers of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami . After season one of this “reality” show concluded, they clearly came to a realization: Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have the combined personality of a piece of pocket lint. They’re more boring than an episode of 90210 . That’s why producers have told Khloe to get pregnant , at least a baby would spice things up. It’s also also why season two of this E! series will focus on Scott Disick. Kourtney’s baby daddy knows how to deliver the drama! Case in point: the alcohol-fueld tirade he goes on in the preview below, which tabloids claim led to a split between Kourtney and Scott. There’s just one problem: this footage was filmed months ago, meaning we already know the outcome: Kourt and Scott are just fine. The same can’t be said for people that actually tune in watch this entirely scripted nonsense… Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami Promo

Lady Gaga Reflects on Michael Jackson, Death, Collaboration That Could Have Been

Lady Gaga made many memorable remarks on Larry King Live this week, touching on subjects as diverse as testing positive for lupus and her own drug use. But perhaps the most poignant topic of discussion was that she was set to duet with Michael Jackson on his This Is It tour last summer before Jackson died . “I was actually asked to open for Michael at The O2 [arena],” she told Larry. “There was some talk about openers doing collaborations with Michael onstage.” “Michael’s death was devastating for me regardless of whether or not I was supposed to tour with him. He is an inspiration and remarkable human being.” On a somewhat related note, Gaga declared that she would “rather die onstage” than “under a palm tree” and also went on to explain her fixation on death. DEATH BECOMES HER : Lady Gaga has always had a fascination with tragic icons, and of morbidly shocking performances on stage. [Photo: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com] It manifests itself as a recurring theme in her shows, and stems from a longtime idolization of such tragic icons as Princess Diana – and now Michael Jackson. “My fascination with the demise of the celebrity goes along with me watching these hugely iconic and amazing people that I have heralded and admired my whole life become destroyed, whether self-destroyed or destroyed by the media,” she said. But despite her obsession with the issue and envelope-pushing, blood-soaked performances, the outrageous star insisted, “I’m not interested in violence.” Amputated legs? Perpetuating hermaphrodite rumors ? Possibly. But violence, no. She’d never simulate her own murder on stage or anything like that.

Miranda Kerr is a Catholic School Girl for Numero of the Day

Numero #114 Miranda Kerr from Greg Kadel Studios on Vimeo . Miranda Kerr is doing some Fifth Element meets Catholic School Girl meets fetish club in this latest photoshoot for Numero magazine. She’s showing her tits, which is good, because she’s a model and a model is essentially just an overpaid stripper who doesn’t look like her face and pussy are falling off due to use, crack addiction, many babies with different men, a broken life of suffering, struggle and doin’ whatever it takes to feed their kids cuz their shitty implants fucked up the milk producing ability, only better…. If you can afford their day rate, pretend you’re a photographer, and set up an elaborate scene….bitch will take off her fucking clothes and do whatever it takes, and that’s always nice when her career is based on being in lingerie and swimsuits, making us need to see her nipple color, shape, size and texture to help us get off to her….we’re desensitized and have more needs than we used to. I don’t really get the whole Catholic Schoolgirl fetish. The reality is that every Catholic Schoolgirl I have ever met has been heavy into blow and fucking….shit oppresses them so much that even when they are 20 they have ill-feelings about the nuns, but more importantly, the way they rebel is always with their pussies. This one I used to fuck would make me fuck her with a virgin mary statue she stole from her mom years earlier cuz it was the only way she could cum. I am not even joking about the shit, it’s like Catholicism totally fucks people up in a pretty decent way when you’re on the receiving end….not that you care about me fucking…. But you do care about Miranda Kerr in this photoshoot….and here are the pics…

Leah Michele from Glee Shitty Upskirt on Stage of the Day

Here is a shitty quality picture of Leah Michele, the Jewish girl from Glee, flashing her ass on stage, because she’s not just on an obnoxious TV show, but she’s also obnoxious in her downtime. I don’t find the bitch hot, she irritates me like the whiney Japs I see talking about their manicure color, but mainly because her face is fucking busted…you’d think she’d take some of her Glee money and sort that abstract painting that is her face structure and layout and sort it the fuck out…it’s like she’s the JENGA game after shit’s fallen apart and the kid is too lazy to play another game….Play another game Leah Michele….put that broken shit back together…or you can just keep taking pictures like this…because staring at your ass distracts from your face…it is the whole reason fucking toothless washed-up crackwhores doggy style was invented…

Vanessa Hudgens Shows Off Some Leg of the Day

What ever happened to Vanessa Hudgens. She had a few minutes of fame, back when she wasn’t showing off her chimpmunk face but was showing off her chimpmunk pussy. Shit was fuzzier than something you’d feed in the park, but for some reason it made me want to rub my hands through it, despite knowing the Disney Execs had beat me to herand her boyfriend Efron has made her strap on and fuck him like the little bitch he is, but now she is fucking boring…Here she is at some boring bottom feeder event…wearing something as sexy as the bitches at the last funeral you went to…hardly showing off skin…putting focus on her chimpmunk face…forgetting that we’ve all seen her awkward body naked…and the whole thing is a let down…you know when I saw those pics of her leak…I believed she was ready to take the role of slutty starlet from the generation of bitches who helped built this site with their nipples and pussies over the last decade…but instead it seems like bitch has gone conservative….I am just posting this now, cuz it’s never too late to release your pussy lip to the public again…once a slut willing to get naked, always a slut willing to get naked, it will do wonders for her career and it is safe to say that we are ready for a pussy lip comeback tour…just a heads up…. Gary Coleman’s Funeral To Take Place This Weekend

Former child actor will be buried in Salt Lake City. By Gil Kaufman Gary Coleman Photo: Getty Images The funeral for former child actor Gary Coleman will be held in Salt Lake City this weekend. According to UsMagazine.com , the service for the sitcom star will be held either Friday or Saturday at a funeral home in the actor’s adopted home state. Coleman’s lawyer, Randy Kester, said the actor’s estranged parents, Sue and Willie Coleman, are planning to attend the service, despite having seen little of their adopted son for much of the past 20 years following a 1989 lawsuit over the handling of his childhood acting earnings. Kester said he recently spoke with Sue and that it’s been “kind of hard” for her to deal with the sudden death of Gary, 42, who passed away on Friday after suffering a brain hemorrhage as a result of a fall last Wednesday. Sue Coleman spoke to People magazine, saying that her son had, “a God-given talent” and getting into show business was his idea. “We always told him, ‘It’s up to you, Gary.’ We never forced him to do anything. We protected him as best we could.” After his career stalled following the cancellation of “Strokes” in 1986, Coleman blamed his parents for allegedly taking advantage of him financially, settling a lawsuit against them and his business manager in 1993 that cemented the long estrangement. “We never stole from our son,” Sue told the magazine. “We always had his best interests at heart. After we stopped hearing from him, we reached out to him anyway we could. Over the years, we sent him birthday and Christmas wishes through his agents and managers because we often had no phone number, no address to reach him. But we always hoped someday he’d come around. … We want him to be remembered as the talented young man he was. We never stopped being proud of Gary.” As for Coleman’s wife, Shannon Price , and other members of the “Diff’rent Strokes” actor’s family, Kester said “they seem to be doing OK. … It’s all kind of a shocker. Even I think back, ‘Oh my gosh!’ You know. Gary’s really gone. It’s one of those things that you keep trying to get your mind around.” At press time it had not yet been announced whether this weekend’s service will be private or open to the public. RZA Addresses Comments About The South That Offended Jay Electronica

‘Hip-hop to me is more a unifying force than a separating force,’ Wu-Tang Clan mastermind tells Mixtape Daily. By Shaheem Reid, with additional reporting by Sway Calloway RZA Photo: MTV News The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive Jay Electronica got people heated — namely DJ Kay Slay — when he said some Southern MCs, such as Andre 3000 and Bun B, could roast cats from up North during an interview with TheMostInfluential.com last month. Electronica, ever the outspoken warrior, was very candid with the outlet. A few minutes into the topic, the conversation shifted to Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. We all know Jay has the utmost respect for the clan from Shaolin; he shouts them out on his mixtape banger “The Ghost of Christopher Wallace.” But he admitted that he took exception to some comments from the Abbot he read years ago. “He said some real ridiculously stupid, ignorant things about some South people,” Jay said. Jay, who is from New Orleans, said he was offended when RZA was quoted questioning the intelligence of some Southern MCs while talking about the quality of lyricism. “I don’t like that,” Jay explained. “That would be like me coming to New York or another place and saying you’re of a lesser intelligence because you’re not knowledgeable about my circumstance or environment. “I took offense with RZA in that,” he added. “Peace unto RZA. That’s my brother, and RZA had a great effect on me. I wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for RZA and the music he made with Wu-Tang Clan. But also RZA, you said some crazy, wild sh–. At that time, we might have had a physical altercation how I really felt about it. … Going around thinking people are slow. I just wanted to say that. Again, peace to RZA, he’s a beautiful black man. He’s done a lot for our culture, a lot for humanity in general with his music and his contribution.” Well, the RZA recently sat down and talked with MTV News’ Sway and was asked about Jay Electronica’s comments. The Wu founder wasn’t aware of Jay’s comments or his music, for that matter. RZA did have a very clear recollection of some things he said in the past about the South. “I know I said a few things about the South throughout my career in different periods,” RZA told Sway. “I don’t know the exact comment, but I remember I did an article in Rap Pages years ago, ’cause me and Master P had a talk about this years ago. I was speaking on the education level in the South, how brothers drop out … in the sixth grade — some of them because they have to go to work, some of them because of the poverty, some because they’re not interested in the education system … just a lot of crazy things that people from up North had evolved from. When I was doing this article, I was taking about my own family at first. My family comes from the South. They frying fat back in the kitchen, Grandpops didn’t have more than a sixth-grade reading level. My grandma was a welfare mom. “The truth is the truth, first of all. The South has evolved later than us,” RZA added. “Based upon where we are around. You can get a book in Harlem off the streets. Books like ‘Stolen Legacy’ the ‘Isis Paper,’ you can find this stuff in the streets of Harlem. Just walking around in Manhattan. In the South, they won’t find that in the bookstores nor the streets; they have to research it. With Internet knowledge, there’s a better chance for education for all. I felt and I seen. I got cousins out there that still live in the South. They have not picked up on the wavelength of where their mind should be. But hip-hop has helped it all evolve. Hip-hop, to me, is a blessing and a mercy for the black community first. Then I’ll say for the urban community, then I’ll say for American culture.” Also while talking to Sway, RZA noted that hip-hop doesn’t belong to just one region. The entire world has embraced it and has partial ownership. “If anybody got a question of what I say, they can ask me. I fear no man. I fear no MC’s talent,” he said. “But I definitely know when you young, you feel a certain way. At one point, we as Wu-Tang was like, ‘The whole industry is wack besides Wu-Tang.’ That was our energy, our spirit. That’s how we felt until we learned, ‘Wait a minute, hold on. That’s why they talking about that.’ Hip-hop, to me, is more a unifying force than a separating force.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines or follow the Mixtape Daily team on Twitter: @shaheemreid and @mongosladenyc .
