Jenelle Evans has a lot on her plate these days. The Carolina Hurricane is pregnant with her third child , and her life remains the usual tumult of conflict and easily-avoidable drama. In fact, it’s looking like Jenelle may have quit Teen Mom 2 following yet another conflict with producers over the way she’s portrayed on the show. One would think that with everything going on these days, Jenelle might hold off on making any major life decisions until after the dust settles. But this is a woman who sows more insanity before breakfast than most people do their entire lives. So it should come as no surprise that Jenelle is courting more craziness by seemingly welcoming rumors that she’s engaged to boyfriend David Eason. Jenelle gets engaged like most people change their profile picture, so even if the rumors are true, there’s still no guarantee that she’ll actually make it down the aisle. The reports began when Jenelle posted a photo of a ring on Snapchat: Turns out, the bling is for her future daughter, Ensley, who apparently needs some high-end jewelry to match her country club-ready name. Of course, Jenelle almost certainly knew what sort of speculation would follow when she posted the pic, and she seems to be inviting it. Despite numerous tweets and comments from fans guessing that she’s engaged, Jenelle has yet to issue a hard denial. So even though the ring she posted is not hers, the possibility that she’s ready to walk down the aisle remains. We’ve already seen Jenelle lie about being pregnant in previews for the current season of TM2, so even if she issues a denial about her engagement, it’s unlikely that anyone will believe her. In fact, we’ll go out on a limb and say that even if they’re not yet officially engaged, Jenelle and David are almost certainly planning a wedding. How could they not be? Eason gets arrested a lot ; he has a kid he doesn’t have custody of, and he really hates Jenelle’s mom, Barbara Evans. When the Duggar family returned to television with Counting On, it was unclear if they would be able to find an audience. Their first reality series was beloved by millions, but many of those fans turned their back on the family in response to the horrors of the Josh Duggar sex scandals . The family’s new show has cobbled together decent enough ratings to remain on the air for three seasons, but it’s widely believed that many of the new viewers are “anti-fans” who “hate-watch” Counting On. For the most part, we imagine that it’s all the same to the Duggars, so long as people are tuning in. However, on several occasions, they’ve experienced the downside of their new anti-fan base: These people are quick to pick up on and point out any and all deceptions or questionable behavior revealed on the series. The latest has to do with Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s missionary work in Central America. After ten months in El Salvador, Jill and Derick made a temporary return to Arkansas earlier this year, but they assured fans that they would be returning to Central America in due time. Several months later, the couple is still in Arkansas and planning to spend the holidays at home with their families. Which would be fine – were it not for the fact that they’re still collecting donations for their mission work. Last week, Derick tweeted about being at the San Francisco airport on a layover en route to somewhere else. The Facebook page Duggar Family News: Life is Not All Pickles and Hairspray pointed out that he doesn’t seem to be headed to Central America – and he appears to have no shortage of travel funds. “The Dillards said they would be back in Central America by now. They lied,” wrote the page’s administrator . “For some reason Derick flew to San Francisco on his way to somewhere else. I didn’t do great in geography but I’m pretty sure you don’t fly from Arkansas to San Francisco to get to Central America.” The page added: “He doesn’t think he needs to give his donors any information about how he spends their money. He’ll drop clues but he won’t come entirely clean.” If the family issues any statement on this at all (big if ), they’ll likely dismiss it as overly-concerned nit-picking from some obsessive fans. But misappropriation of charitable donations is a huge deal, and while it may not prevent you from getting elected president, it could signal the start of yet another Duggar scandal. Fry…his….azz… Judge Says Dylann Roof Is Competent To Stand Trial A judge has thrown out any possibility that Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof could get off with an insanity plea. Today, November 25, Judge Gergel ruled that Roof is competent to stand trial for gunning down 9 black people in a horrific hate crime. WCNC reports: Dylann Roof, the white man accused of killing nine African-Americans in a Charleston church has been declared competent to stand trial. Judge Gergel made the declaration around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday. Roof, 22, has been federally indicted on 33 counts related to nine murders in the June 2015 killings, some of those charges drawing on hate crime laws. Authorities say he walked into a Wednesday night Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and opened fire. South Carolina lawmakers answered by ridding its statehouse grounds of the Confederate flag. Prosecutors are now trying to narrow down the jury pool that started at 3,000 and now stands at 512. 12 jurors will determine Roof’s fate in his death penalty trial. He’s pulled it together a bit and actually fallen a few spots from prior years, but still makes the list b/c what a douche canoe. 8. Kanye West . We wish him well, now that we know he may be truly mentally unstable, but even that can’t explain some of his antics. 7. Jon & Kate Gosselin . No, this list isn’t from 2008, but it might as well be, as these two are STILL going at it harder and uglier than ever. 6. Hillary Clinton . Worse move in hindsight … setting up a private email server or not setting foot in Wisconsin this whole election season? 5. Jordan Rodgers . The Bachelor franchise has seen its share of guys who deserve a pumpkin pie to the face, but nothing like J-Rod. 4. Jim Bob Duggar . For no other reason than having invented those absurd courtship rules , bird brain JBD can gobble up this spot. 3. Stevie J & Joseline . The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta duo EASILY prevails for most dysfunctional celeb couple of ’16, which is saying a lot! 2. Jenelle Evans . Now expecting her third kid by her third different guy, the Carolina Hurricane took her kid to the beach … in an actual hurricane. And the #1 Turkey of the Year honor goes to – who else – the newly-elected 45th President of the United States of America, ladies and gentlemen! 1. Donald J. Trump . Comment rendered unnecessary. Fun Thanksgiving task: Bring him up at the dinner table and see what happens … everyone is being SO SECRETIVE with their opinions! Fun THG fact: Mr. President-Elect is the first two-time winner of this award, having previously been named top THG Turkey of 2012 . Our prescient words four years ago today … “The king of PR stunts, conspiracy theories and Obama rants wins our top turkey honor because of his repeated attempts to insert himself into the national political discourse, and the complete and utter rejection of his ‘ideas’ by citizens across the political spectrum.” Well, joke’s on us.
