Just weeks after preaching All Lives Matter rhetoric, Cam Newton is catching flack again. The Carolina Panthers are currently 1-5 on the season and 4th in the NFC South, and a happy Cam Newton that does not make. After Sunday night’s 41-38 loss against the New Orleans Saints, Newton walked out of the post game press conference. […]
A few weeks ago, the Carolina Panthers quarterback said, ‘We’re beyond that as a nation’ when asked about race relations, and his latest comment may be just as controversial.
Yesterday, the world learned that Jenelle Evans is pregnant with her third child in the classiest way possible – from a police report. The news came as somewhat of a surprise, as for several months now, Jenelle has been denying that she’s pregnant whenever the topic came up. Considering every other event in Jenelle’s life plays out on Teen Mom 2 or social media, we’re not sure why she chose to keep things on the down-low, but we do know she’s very pissed that the world found out she’s knocked up. In case you missed it, Jenelle’s pregnancy was revealed from a post car-accident police report that described her as “pregnant and complaining of abdominal pains.” (The “complaining” part certainly sounds like Jenelle! Zing!) Jenelle being Jenelle, instead of simply coming forward and confirming the information, she decided to make the whole situation unnecessarily weird and dramatic. The fan reaction to the news that Jenelle is expecting was, well, mixed at best (After all, Jenelle is currently fighting two custody battles at once ), and needless to say, the Carolina Hurricane didn’t take the criticism lightly: “Funny someone else comes out with news they are pregnant and the world is overjoyed,” she tweeted over the weekend. Given the recent announcement that Chelsea Houska is pregnant with her second child , many assumed Jenelle was referring to her much-more-beloved castmate. Evans clarified that she was not talking about Chelsea, but about her “5 friends who recently announced they were pregnant.” She then deleted her Twitter account entirely/ Jeez, you’d think someone who lies so much would be better at it. Anyway, congrats, Jenelle! This pregnancy feels like it’s gonna be tumultuous even by your lofty standards. View Slideshow: 13 Shocking Jenelle Evans Facts Even We Didn’t Know!
Cam Newton may have dabbed his way to the Super Bowl this year, but he’s called it quits. Newton’s done with the dab and is ready to replace it with something else. Thursday morning, the Carolina Panthers Quarterback went on The Mac Attack radio show in Charlotte and announced that the dab is no more. […]
Oh, Jenelle, please don’t bring another kid into this mess. The Teen Mom 2 star is already embroiled in two separate custody battles – one against ex Nathan Griffith for their son Kaiser, and another with her own mother over son Jace. Let’s not make it three. But a new report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup claims that this Carolina Hurricane is indeed with child. A crew member from the show told the site that everyone on the Teen Mom 2 set was “freaking out” about the news. Also, there’s a photo floating around of Jenelle at Target looking a little heavy in the belly, and the site is calling it a baby bump. But according to Jenelle, it’s nothing more than a burrito bump, because the mom of two says she is not preggers. Just hours after the article was published, Jenelle took to Instagram to deny the rumors. “I just wanted to put it out there and since Ashley never spoke to me direct or my team on the “exclusive” you’re wrong !” she wrote. “I am NOT pregnant and if I were I wouldn’t be afraid or scared to tell you “my fans” who support me,” she continued. “But hey if this story gets you attention have a good weekend 🙂 and enjoy the attention ! #lies #whywouldilie #ashleyslying” The Ashley says it’s standing by its story, but we’re not sure why. This is the second time this month Jenelle denied pregnancy rumors . Earlier in May, she took to Twitter to refute the claims that she was having another baby. “For everyone asking.. No I’m not pregnant and no not engaged,” she tweeted. “Happy where I am in life and comfortable so I’ve been eating a lot more lol.” View Slideshow: 13 Shocking Jenelle Evans Facts
Jenelle Evans is always involved in some sort of drama, but lately, her life has been even more of a trainwreck/roller coaster than usual. As usual, she’s dealing with a mountain of legal troubles, and she may soon find herself bars for assaulting Nathan Griffith’s girlfriend . Add to that her recent feud with Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska , as well as the ongoing battery of tests for her mysterious medical problems , and Jenelle has a lot on her plate, even by Jenelle standards. But the Carolina Hurricane thrives on drama the way the rest of us live on food and oxygen, and Jenelle announced on Twitter moments ago that she’s gearing up for even more craziness: “Two custody battles at the same time. Let’s go,” Jenelle tweeted, along with a smiley face Emoji. Yes, it seems Jenelle is planning to go to court to win back custody of her first son Jace , who’s basically been raised by her mother, Barbara. At the same time, she’s trying to win full custody of her second son, Kaiser, which she currently shares with baby daddy Nathan. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith: A TMI, Sometimes Rocky Romance “Jenelle just has everything in place and the court dates have officially been set,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “She’s going for full custody of Kaiser.” Unfortunately, it seems Jenelle may face delays in both of her legal battles. For one thing, no one knows where the hell Nathan is: “They are just trying to serve Nathan right now, which he doesn’t have a lawyer like he said he did and he won’t give anyone his address to be served,” says the insider. Meanwhile, lawyers for Barabara have delayed that case until May, and the source says Jenelle plans to use the intervening months to “gather all of the evidence” she needs to prove that Barbara is an unfit guardian. She better hope that the judge in her case doesn’t watch Teen Mom 2 online , because just about every episode contains iron-clad proof that Jenelle shouldn’t be allowed in the same room as a child.
Black Voter Turnout Is Imperative To Keeping Donald Trump From Being Elected President RawStory taken the liberty of breaking down exactly why it is SO important that each and everyone of us do our civic duty and cast our votes. All of us, but especially black women… As the Democratic nominating contest speeds up, African-American voters – especially women – have some tough, and influential, choices to make. South Carolina is the first primary where African Americans are the majority of Democratic voters, controlling 55 percent of the vote. That makes South Carolina a battleground for black votes, especially those of African-American women. We know that victories in early primaries are important. Later voters often pick their candidate based on early primary outcomes. The South Carolina primary is perhaps as important as the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries because it could create momentum in subsequent contests where black votes will help candidates win. The following statistics explains exactly how influential the black vote can be and how detrimental it can be for us if we don’t… African-American voters are the most loyal supporters of the Democratic Party. Their support for Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore was 90 percent in 2000. In 2004, they voted for John Kerry by 88 percent. Barack Obama won an all-time high of 95 percent in 2008. According to exit polls, black voters were 13 percent of the national electorate in 2008. They represented approximately one in every 4.25 Obama voters that same year. Sixty-five percent, or 15.9 million, of voting-age African Americans cast a ballot in the general election, compared to 66.1 percent of white citizens. But, the voter turnout rate among eligible black female voters was 68.8 percent – the highest of all racial, ethnic and gender groups in the 2008 American presidential election. Especially in southern states with large black voting-eligible populations – including South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana – the black female voter outperformed in terms of registration and turnout. Since 1996, this gender gap has been consistently present. African-American women voted at higher rates than African-American men by a range of 7 or 8 percentage points in 2008. That rate was even higher – about 9 percentage points – in 2012, which is 6 percentage points higher than other racial groups. All this is to say that we, as people of color, HAVE to have the same level of enthsiasm about voting in November as we did in 2008 when Obama was running for his first term. Anything less than that will lead to all of us watching “President Trump” take the oath in 2017… Image via Shutterstock
Another day, another potential legal problem for Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 fame … though this one is bizarre even by her standards. Rather than custody fights, drug use, domestic violence or beating the ever-loving crap out of Brittany Truett , her latest issue is this: The Carolina Hurricane plans to release a mini-urinal made for toddlers, but is being put on blast for stealing the idea from the Internet. You cannot make this stuff up. Jenelle Evans recently announced the March 21 launch of Little Kaiser, a new urinal designed specifically for boys who are potty training. Kaiser is the name of her second child with former fiance Nathan Griffith (whose list of legal issues is nearly on par with that of his ex). “#LittleKaiser boys need something different !!!” Evans told her 1.2 million Twitter followers. “New project we have been working on!!!” Twitter was not too impressed. Fans told the mom to Jace, 6, and Kaiser, 19 months, that her entrepreneurial vision was strikingly similar to something called “LiL Marc.” Evans’ manager, Johnny Donovan, strongly denied to Us claims she’s ripping off “LiL Marc,” a toddler urinal that debuted years ago. “We aren’t stealing it,” Donovan responded. “There [sic] company went to s–t and reached out to us for us to rebrand it learn your facts..” Eloquent, Johnny. Eloquent. For their part, executives at “LiL Marc” (which apparently exists) deny any relationship with the MTV star, and say they are not rebranding. In fact, the company fired back in a statement, making it clear that the use of their “name or photos are unauthorized and a violation.” So … someone’s not telling the truth. It’s not clear if Jenelle knowingly copied an existing product, but she might want to invest in a more literate manager if nothing else. We can’t speak for anyone at LiL Marc, but it sure sounds to us like (wait … wait for it …) they’re pretty PISSED OFF about the situation. Boo . We’ll show ourselves out. Evans’ camp is talking a good game, but she deleted the original tweet, so Lil Kaiser’s future may have just been flushed down the toilet. Or urinal as it were. Sorry again. We just couldn’t resist some quality STAND UP comedy. You know, because you stand up at a urinal? Okay we’re done for real. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans Mug Shots: The Complete Collection!
