Golding joins a cast of newcomers – who will join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and others – that includes: Jena Malone as Johanna Mason. Francis Lawrence’s Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire has nabbed yet another notable name for film fans in Amanda Plummer, the stage/TV/film veteran perhaps best known as the diner-robbing “Honey Bunny” in Pulp Fiction as well as for her roles in The Fisher King and So I Married an Axe Murderer . Plummer will take the role of a Tribute and former Games winner whose eccentricity belies an uncanny intelligence as she competes with Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss & Co. in the arena. Plummer will play Wiress, an older Tribute called to compete in the Quarter Quell, the all-star death match of sorts that propels the second installment of the series. She joins fellow cast newcomers Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee and Jena Malone as fellow Tribute Johanna Mason in the sequel, slated for release on November 13, 2013. [ THR ]

The veteran actress and former Golden Globe Award nominee will star in The Hunger Games sequel as Wiress, an eccentric Tribute who becomes an important fellow player/friend to Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss. A Broadway star, Plummer is likely best known to film fans for her role as “Honey Bunny” in Pulp Fiction . While Catching Fire fans continue to await movie news on who will play Finnick , other characters are being snatched up. Aside from Wiress, we know that Jena Malone will portray Johanna Mason and Philip Seymour Hoffman is a go for Plutarch Heavensbee. Catching Fire will be released on November 22, 2013, while two-part final installment of Mockingjay will be hit theaters in 2014 and 2015.

Kris Humphries was deposed by Kim Kardashian’s legal team yesterday, as the divorce case between this former couple hopefully nears an end. Under oath, the power forward reportedly swore that he never actually dated Myla Sinanaj, a NYC hotel employee who has suddenly become a key player because Kardashian believes Kris’ relationship with her shoots down his case of supposed heartbreak. TMZ insiders say Kris told lawyers that he and Myla were only friends and he never revealed anything specific about Kim to her. Other sources contradict this claim, however, with one alleging that Humphries opened up to Sinanaj about Kanye West and his suspicions that the rapper was getting it on with Kardashian . Humphries is basing his case for more money from Kim on the accusation that she defrauded him into marriage and never had any intention of making the union work. But he offered no evidence for this assertion during his deposition, witnesses tell TMZ. Up next, or in the near future, Sinanaj will answer questions, while Reggie Bush may even be dragged into this ridiculous mess.

According to Entertainment Weekly , the former Sucker Punch actress is a frontrunner for the key role of Johanna Mason , a District 7 Tribute who doesn’t get along too well with Katniss in Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games follow-up. While Lionsgate has not yet commented on any casting rumors, and while names continue to be bantered about for both Johanna and Finnick Odair , no new actors or actresses have actually signed on yet. Romeo Miller tells MTV News he’s already met with Lionsgate about possibly appearing in one of the ‘Hunger Games’ flicks. By Kevin P. As the 22-year-old makes moves in his career as an adult actor, Romeo has his eyes set on one franchise in particular. One of Miller’s ideal projects would be a trip to Panem for ” The Hunger Games ,” he told MTV News during a recent interview for ” Madea’s Witness Protection .” In fact, he’s already met with Lionsgate to discuss the possibility. Although he got his start as the rap star son of Master P, Miller has been acting for years now. “A lot of people don’t know I’ve been doing this for 10 years now,” he said. “I felt that all of that was practice, leading up to the time now.” But for his next roles, Miller has his sights set on an acting career similar to Will Smith. “I want to be the next big action hero or I want to do a lot of romantic type movies, romantic comedies, a little bit of everything, but definitely the next action hero,” Miller said, and then added, “You can see me in ‘The Hunger Games’ or something like that. Just throwing that out there.” Though he admitted to not being very familiar with Suzanne Collins’ books, Miller confirmed that there has been some discussion about possibly joining “Catching Fire,” which is currently casting. “I actually just met with Lionsgate about that, so you may be seeing me in one of the ‘Hunger Games.’ That’s all I’m saying,” Miller said. “Not a particular role, we just had a meeting, seeing if it was something I was interested in.
