Eric Trump Thinks Ellen DeGeneres is Part of "The Deep State"

Eric Trump is totally on to Ellen DeGeneres. She may play all calm and cool and funny and happy and peaceful and loving on television, but the President’s son knows what’s really going on here. And he’s finally come out and revealing his truth to the world… … Ellen DeGeneres is a key member of The Deep State! This is a term often thrown around by Sean Hannity and other like-minded conservatives. It gained momentum during the 2016 Presidential campaign after being trumpeted by ex-White House strategist Steve Bannon and it refers to an alleged shadowy entity of civil servants. This shadowy entity of civil servants purportedly coordinates efforts and policies behind-the-scenes to delegitimize the Donald Trump administration. Many members of the mainstream press, someone like Eric Trump would argue, are working with The Deep State to bring down the commander-in-chief. How does Ellen fit in? What has she done to earn this reputation? It’s unclear. But consider the following Tweet by Eric Trump, which has gone viral for its hilarious accusation: “Shocking… once again, here are the @Twitter “suggestions” of who I should follow. #DeepState,” wrote Eric as a caption to the screen capture of who Twitter thinks he may want to follow. One person listed there is the previous President of the United States. Another person listed there is the candidate Donald Trump defeated to become President. (If either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton are members of the supposed Deep State, well, they aren’t very deep undercover.) And the third person is beloved talk show host, comedian and former American Idol judge, Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen is very likely a Democrat, but she actually isn’t very outspoken when it comes to politics. Yes, she once sent a message to Donald Trump that was based around Finding Dory. But she mostly talks on her show about love and respect and hope , which… okay, nevermind. We get it now. These aren’t exactly Donald Trump-espoused values, are they? As you might expect, Eric Trump’s Tweet has become quite a source of ridicule on social media. Some folks are trying to teach him how Twitter works (“I know you’re not the smart one, but Twitter’s algorithm looks at who you searched for most recently when making suggestions. It looks like you might have recently searched for a Democrat, buddy.”) … … while others are just openly mocking him. To wit: Said another user, pretty much summing up Eric’s statement: This is the most unintentionally hilarious tweet of the very very new year! Fast forward 362 days and we have a feeling it may remain the most unintentionally hilarious Tweet of the year. Good luck, trying to top it, everyone else on the planet. This is gonna be a challenge.

Offset: Cardi B’s Fiance Avoiding Paternity Test? What’s He Hiding?

Celina Powell is the latest woman to claim that Offset, Cardi B’s fiance, is her baby daddy. Cardi B and Offset both say that the woman is lying … but now we have to wonder if Offset, at least, is afraid that she’s telling the truth. Because, to hear Celina tell it, Offset is ducking and dodging her attempts at a paternity test. If he’s not the baby daddy, why not go ahead and prove it? Cardi B and Offset made a “sex tape” — after a fashion — and released it to the public. They’re engaged. it’s safe to say that they have a pretty good relationship, right? But they’re facing their first real test, as a woman is claiming that Offset is the father of her baby girl. Celina Powell doesn’t seem like she’s willing to back down, either. After Offset sent her a cease & desist, she publicly called him out. So it looks like she intends to hound him until he can prove in court that he’s not the father of her child. We should mention that there’s a credibility issue. Despite being only 22, Celina Powell has identified famous “baby daddies” in the past who turned out to not be the fathers of her children. She acknowledged her dubious history when she shared with the world her claim that Offset is this child’s father … while assuring her fans that she’s not crying wolf this time, she promises . Honestly, Celina’s background makes you wonder if she’s a terrible schemer — like, if she watched fake paternity scams on soap operas and wondered if they were that easy in real life. Or if she might have other issues. Anybody else remember that girl who’s not pregnant who went on Dr. Phil claiming that she is pregnant with God’s child? Claiming random rappers as your baby daddy isn’t much more grounded than that. But … if Offset is just another falsely accused man, then why has he allegedly balked at taking a DNA test? At least, that’s what Celina has claimed that he’s done, after responding to a tweet inquiring about a paternity test. “No her father didn’t accept the dna papers.” But that doesn’t mean that she’s given up. “But lawyers will do their job and he will take it…one day” So … you’d think that Offset would be the one insisting on a paternity test. Even if he didn’t want to bring one up — maybe putting on a show of absolute confidence that it’s not his for Cardi B — you’d think that he’d go along with a request, right? Unless he’s worried about what the results might be. That said … we have to acknowledge that we don’t know, for sure, whether or not any “DNA papers,” as Celina calls them, were actually sent to him and then rejected. It’s a weird situation, folks. We know that Cardi B and Offset are making a show of not believing Celina Powell’s claims about her daughter, Karma, being Offset’s. But what if she is? If so — and that’s admittedly a big if — what does that mean for Offset and Cardi B? Would that make Celina just another baby mama receiving support, or might it spell doom for Cardi B and Offset’s million dollar wedding ? We’ll all have to wait before we know more. Offset included. Teen Mom Salaries: You Won’t Believe How Rich This Cast Is!

Teen Mom: OG and Teen Mom 2 are among the most popular series in MTV's storied history. The stars may not enjoy the same universal name recognition as Snooki or The Situation, but their fans are an intensely devoted bunch with appetitse for every detail of the women's personal lives. So it should come as no surprise that there's considerable interest in just how much the Teen Moms get paid . Of course, given their many side projects and business ventures, the amount that each cast member pulls in varies wildly from one to the next … but suffice it to say, they're all doing very well. Here's a breakdown of just how much each mom is earning these days:   1. Catelynn Lowell: $25,000 per episode Catelynn is earning the standard rate for stars of the original series. And while she has a few other revenue streams in place, she’s not on her 24/7 grind like some of her co-stars. 2. Clothing By Cate Catelynn and husband Tyler Baltierra recently launched a children’s clothing line. The venture is too new to determine if it will be profitable or not. 3. Amber Portwood: $25,000 per episode Amber also pulls in $25,000 for just a few days work on TM:OG. Unlike Catelynn, however, she puts a lot of time into her side businesses. 4. Hard Times For Haute Amber launched her “online boutique” Forever Haute with the help of then-fiance Matt Baier. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that the business is faring much better than the relationship. Rumors that Haute is out of business appear to be premature, but multiple insiders have confirmed the site has yet to turn a profit. 5. Maci Bookout: $25,000 per episode Some reality shows pay their more popular cast members a bit extra. Not Teen Mom: OG, however, which keeps the salaries consistent across the board. 6. Off the Bookout Unlike some of her other cast members, Maci doesn’t seem to have much time for side projects. With three kids to raise and an increasingly problematic ex, we suppose that’s no surprise. Catelynn Lowell: I’m Headed Home!!!

Catelynn Baltierra will be home for at least one holiday. The troubled Teen Mom star, who missed sharing Christmas with her family because she was seeking professional help in rehab, has confirmed some positive news via Twitter: She’s outta there! “I’m going home tomorrow!” wrote Catelynn on Friday, adding: “So excited for the future and seeing my family!! Six weeks of treatment and I feel good! Gotta work it when I get home thanks for all your support.” The mother of two precious kids (one girl, Carly, was given up  for adoption) concluded her Tweet with the hashtag “KeepTalkingMH.” We’re pretty sure that stands for Keep Talking Mental Health because Lowell did not enter rehab for any substance abuse problem. She instead acknowledged the need for assistance due to a disturbing abundance of suicidal thoughts. Back in mid-November, the MTV star surprised fans and concerned them greatly when she Tweeted the following: Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast. She tagged the wife of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington in her Tweet because the Linkin Park singer, who lived with Depression most of his adult life, had recently committed suicide at the time. Thankfully, fans responded to the 25-year old at the time with messages of support. And the same held true of her husband, Tyler. “It’s going to be a rough holiday without being able to kiss her & tells her how thankful I am for her,” Tyler said on social media the day after Catelynn checked in to rehab, adding: “But we have a strong resilience crafter by our past, we got this!” A couple weeks ago, rumors circulated that Catelynn was thinking of leaving her treatment facility against doctor’s orders. She did then exit on December 14, just prior to the 30-day mark, only to return several days later. No one is quite sure what happened there and why, although one report has claimed Lowell simply missed her daughter. Fortunately, though, Catelynn has at least admitted she can’t overcome her mental health problems on her own. Back in 2016, shortly after giving birth to Nova, Catelynn also sought rehabilitation help for post-partum depression and anxiety. She’s struggled with Depression for at least a few years. Why are fans hopeful that this time the assistance will take? We sadly can’t say for sure. No one is ever fully cured of a mental illness. But Lowell has sounded more open than ever before about relying on others and focusing on a bright future. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better,” she wrote back when entering rehab last month. Continued the star: “Anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! Arie Luyendyk Jr: Too Old to Be The Bachelor? Too White?

For better or for worse, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the leading man on this upcoming season of The Bachelor , and there are some people who are very unhappy about this upcoming season. And there’s more to that frustration than wishing that someone else were starring on the show. Is Arie Luyendyk Jr. too old? Is the cast of contestants too young? Are they all (or most of them) too white? Before you say it, this isn’t just about why Peter Kraus isn’t the Bachelor . Peter’s a fan favorite and, unlike precious puppy Dean Unglert, didn’t soil his reputation on Bachelor in Paradise . Peter was an easy pick to win. But, you know, fans think they know who’ll win The Bachelor based upon names and math, so … sometimes a fan theory is really just a guess. (Hint: if you follow The Bachelor Spoilers , you have a pretty good idea of how all of this is going to end) But showrunners felt that Peter wasn’t up for it, or maybe they just wanted to surprise fans by defying their expectations. And picking Arie certainly does that. That said, the concerns that fans have over this upcoming season ( The Bachelor will be upon us so soon, you guys!) are a little less personal and a lot more important. First of all, we have to talk about race. Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette was historic, and not just because Rachel was the franchise’s first black female lead. Though that, in and of itself, was a huge deal — and many are disappointed that The Bachelor did not follow in its sister series’ footsteps. Eric Bigger isn’t quite Peter Kraus … (Even Rachel Lindsay knows that, even though she’s thrown Peter under the bus at every opportunity since her season ended) … But some fans feel that he would have made a stronger, handsomer Bachelor. (Especially with that revenge beard!) And, quite frankly, even with Arie at the helm of the show, they could have made the contestants a little more racially diverse. Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette was historically diverse. Yes, she is black, and that was an amazing and embarrassingly long overdue bit of the bare minimum amount of inclusion for the franchise. But if you look at her suitors, you notice that they were a much more diverse crowd than we’re used to seeing — on The Bachelorette or The Bachelor . Nearly half of Rachel Lindsay’s suitors were men of color. Then we look at the women competing for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s “rose” (or “heart” or whichever euphemism you prefer), and see that the series has taken a step backwards. Finally, we need to talk about age. Nobody likes this topic, because time is cruel and unfeeling and robs us of all capacity for pride or joy with time, but we need to address it. Arie Luyendyk Jr. is 36. His absolute oldest contestant this season is 33. A 3-year age difference barely matters in college and is a blink of an eye when both people are in their thirties. Most of the women are in their mid-to-late 20s. There are a couple of women who are 23. And scuttlebutt is that Rebekah, whose age was conspicuously absent from early reports, may be as young as 22. Of course, people have whined about recent Bachelors being “too young,” allegedly wanting to increase their social media visibility instead of genuinely looking for love. (As if anyone believes that Arie’s here for love) All of these criticisms make sense. Diversity matters. Reasonable age ranges matter. But we have to wonder if The Bachelor is preparing to pivot. Perhaps their next leading man will be a 26-year-old man of color, and Arie is just the dull build-up to a groundbreaking 2019 season. In the mean time, take a look at Arie’s prospective mates, and decide for yourself if, beautiful though they all are as individuals, the make-up of the overall cast leans a little too young and  white . Tyler Baltierra to Catelynn Lowell: Please Come Home Soon!

Last month,  Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab  after publicly revealing that she’d been battling suicidal thoughts and severe depression. Lowell has remained at the faciity ever since, and while she’s been unable to update her many social media followers, her husband, Tyler Baltierra, assures fans that she’s making steady progress and hopes to be home soon. “My wife is incredibly strong & courageous,” Tyler tweeted earlier this week. “She inspires me to just be a better human being all around & I’m so honored to share my life with such a selfless soul. I love her so much & can’t wait for her to be home.” He added the hashtag” #CatelynnStrong,” which Teen Mom: OG fans have been using to discuss their own battles with mental illness and the strength that they’ve gained from seeing Lowell be so candid about her struggles. The weeks since Catelynn checked into treatment have not been without their fair share of drama, but thankfully, Lowell has been shielded from it for the sake of her mental health. Just this week, Catelynn’s cast mate Farrah Abraham attacked her on Twitter, claiming that she still smokes pot regularly (despite her claims to the contrary) and that Baltierra is secretly gay . Tyler dealt with the situation himself on Twitter. “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast,” Catelynn tweeted just prior to entering treatment back in November. She referenced the late Linkin Park Chester Bennington, who took his own life  in July, and tagged the Linkin Park singer’s wife, Talinda. “I’m taking the time I need right now to take care of myself for good,” Lowell told Us Weekly in a statement issued later that day. “On November 17th I thought of every possible way to commit suicide … From wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole. “THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER … thank god I am self-aware,” she added. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better … anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason … Thank you for your support during this tough time.” There’s no word yet on when Catelynn will receive treatment, but Baltierra says her treatment has been going smoothly, and  “We’ve been in Arizona for the past 2 weeks visiting her every Sunday,” Tyler recently wrote on Instagram. “I have taken a break from everything & chose to really take this time for me and Nova … Without her mom around, she needs me & my devoted attention. Ami Brown Cancer Update: What Did We Learn?

Alaskan Bush People viewers were treated to an early Christmas present on Friday night. Following many months off the air, the popular Discovery Channel series aired a special holiday episode over the weekend, one that provided fans with a critical update. We’re talking, of course, about Ami Brown. The family matriarch has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy for nearly the entire year. She’s been brutally honest about her condition and her very low odds of long-term survival. On this special installment, however, Ami and her loved ones received some positive news: She is finished with treatment. (Viewers also learned that the Browns relocated from Alaska to southern California in order for Ami to be seen by physicians as UCLA; it had not been known previously exactly where she was being treated.) “There is very single reason to be hopeful and absolutely optimistic,” Dr. Deborah Wong told Ami and Billy on the episode. There’s still a long way for Ami to go, of course, but it’s important to savor every moment in situations such as this. “Life is a gift,” Ami said in response to the doctor’s encouraging words. The family celebrated the good news with a surprise for Ami, as the Brown kids decorated their California house roof-to-foundation and prepared a Christmas dinner. Wearing a Santa hat at one point, Ami was led out of the home by Billy, blindfolded and holding her husband’s hand. Once she saw the garden and how it had been filled with lights and a Christmas tree, Ami could hardly contain her emotion. “The best thing about this Christmas is that mom gets to spend it with us,” daughter Birdy said on camera, adding: “It was looking bad for a while. Having mom here for this Christmas I think is the best gift that we could ever get.” We wish Ami and all the Browns the absolute best during this holiday season. Said Billy of the occasion: “For the Brown family, the meaning of Christmas is all things good… it’s that one time of the year that you really celebrate life. “It’s a time of giving and also receiving love, and kind of a combination of the whole year, right there together.” Prior to this episode and this update, the last we had heard from the Alaskan Bush People regarding Ami’s health was when daughter Rain revealed on Instagram that the family were “hopeful”  as her mom began a second round of chemotherapy. As for the future of the show? This is unimportant compared to Ami’s well-being, of course, but plenty of fans out there remain curious. There’s been talk that the Browns are moving to Colorado for Season 8 , along with chatter over Bam Bam and his girlfriend landing a spinoff. Nothing has been confirmed yet, however. All that really matters right now is that Ami continues to progress and to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones. Tyler Baltierra Shares Cryptic Message About Catelynn Lowell: Is She OK?!

Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly be more worried about Catelynn Lowell … Buckle up, because the sadness is coming all over again. As you likely know, Catelynn has been staying in a treatment center for the past few weeks, getting help for her issues with depression and anxiety. She’s been open for years now about her mental illnesses, and how after she gave birth to her second daughter, Nova, postpartum depression nearly wrecked her. She had Nova in January of 2015, and it wasn’t until March of 2016 that she finally made the step to get treatment the first time. Unfortunately, we’re seeing now that she still struggles with depression. On November 17th, she tweeted “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.” She elaborated on this in a statement she released to a few media outlets, explaining that “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself.” She said that that day she had “thought of every way possible to commit suicide… from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.” “Thank GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER… thank god I am self aware… I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better.” Catelynn traveled down to Arizona, accompanied by Tyler, and they got her checked into rehab . She stayed there through Thanksgiving and into the beginning of this month, but as a source revealed earlier this week, she planned on checking out early on Friday, against doctor’s orders . “It wasn’t planned for Catelynn to get out,” the source revealed. “They had a group/family session during their visit and Catelynn pretty much said she wanted to go home.” The insider also claimed that though she was “no longer on suicide watch,” her counselors still believed that “more time in treatment would be beneficial.” Tyler was reportedly concerned about her decision to leave treatment early, but the issue was that Cate felt guilty about being away from her family, especially little Nova, during the holidays. So did she end up coming home? She hasn’t posted anything on social media announcing her return, but Tyler did share this photo on Snapchat: “Cuddles with my family is just the best!” he gushed about the photo of Catelynn and Nova lying on him — and it looks like they’re in their own house. But another post he made on Snapchat has us pretty concerned. Last night, he posted a series of videos while driving down a highway. He captioned the video “My song to Cate,” and he filmed the road while the entirety of Chord Overstreet’s “Hold On” played. If you’re not familiar with the song, let’s take a look at some of lyrics, all right? The first verse contains phrases like “I can’t imagine a world with you gone” and “I’d be so lost if you left me alone,” so it’s not really a great start. “You locked yourself in the bathroom,” the verse continues, “Lying on the floor when I break through. I pull you in to feel your heartbeat. Can you hear me screaming ‘please don’t leave me’?” It sounds like it’s a song about a guy whose girlfriend made a suicide attempt, which is pretty alarming, considering what Catelynn’s been going through . Catelynn Lowell: Doing Well in Rehab with Help From Tyler Baltierra!

Catelynn Lowell has been through many, many things so far in her life. Her father hasn't been around all that much, her mother was emotionally abusive when she was younger, and it's clear that she really struggled with her decision to place her daughter, Carly, for adoption. In addition to all of that, or perhaps because of it, she's had issues with depression and anxiety for much of her life. Last year, things had gotten so bad with her postpartum depression that she went off to spend a few weeks in an inpatient facility to try to get a handle on things. And a couple of weeks ago, she revealed that she'd once again be heading off to get treatment. Is she doing any better now? Read on to find out … 1. Catelynn’s Struggles In November, Catelynn shocked us all by tweeting “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.” Teen Mom fans know she struggles with her mental health, but we had no idea things had gotten this bad again. 2. So Sad She further shocked us in an official statement she released, one that read “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself… On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide… from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole… THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER… thank god I am self aware… I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better… anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason… Thank you for your support during this tough time…. Much Love, Catelynn Baltierra.” 3. Off to Rehab So Tyler escorted her to a treatment center in Arizona to get a handle on things … and speaking of Tyler, can we gush about him for a moment? 4. Oh, Tyler … He and Catelynn have been together since middle school, which is insane. Through the years, they’ve grown together and supported each other through so much, and it’s obvious that he’s being strong for her now. 5. Incredibly Proud He tweeted that message after Catelynn revealed her plans to enter rehab … so sweet, right? 6. Matt Lauer Apologizes for Causing "Hurt, Damage and Disappointment"

Matt Lauer has finally addressed the actions that prompted NBC to fire him in the middle of the night on Monday. Two days after he was let go due to what network executives deemed to be ” inappropriate sexual behavior ,” the long-time Today Show host has issued a lengthy statement. He doesn’t deny very much about what has been said about him in it. Through his own publicist, Lauer said the following this morning. We’ll just go ahead and run it word-for-word: There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions. To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC. Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed. I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly. Repairing the damage will take a lot of time and soul searching and I’m committed to beginning that effort. It is now my full time job. The last two days have forced me to take a very hard look at my own troubling flaws. It’s been humbling. I am blessed to be surrounded by the people I love. I thank them for their patience and grace. Lauer, of course, is the latest major name in Hollywood to be accused of some kind of sexual harassment or misconduct. Sparked by a report that exposed producer Harvey Weinstein as a serial predator, victims have been inspired for weeks to come forward. As a result, A-Listers such as Kevin Spacey, Louis C.K. and Charlie Rose have been exposed, accused fired or all of the above. But Lauer is probably the biggest name so far, considering how long he had served as lead anchor on Today, greeting millions of viewers every morning. There had been rumors for years that NBC might let him go due to alleged attitude problems and falling ratings. Not due to the sort of allegations that are now surrounding the embattled star. He reportedly sent co-workers sex toys and demanded they be used in his presence. He reportedly dropped his pants in front of underlings and asked them to perform a sex act. He reportedly bent a staffer over a chair in his office and had sex with her against her will, to the point that she passed out halfway through the interaction. These accusations are way past the point of the occasional inappropriate or misguided touch. It seems truly astounding (and confusing and depressing) that such actions could have been going on for so long at such a major program; without colleagues either knowing or caring enough to do anything about them. And it’s beyond disturbing that Lauer may have actually committed these acts, of course. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused? Fired? Today remains the most-watched morning program among viewers between 25 and 54, the demographic most coveted by advertisers in news programming. Lauer had been the head anchor since 1994, earning more than $25 million per year with his new contract. It’s unclear at the moment who will take his place alongside Savannah Guthrie each morning, but that’s not really anyone’s focus right now. We’re just trying to figure out what happened at the show, how it went unreported for so long… and whether we’d feel bad if Lauer were hung by his toenails for the next several hours. Upon dismissing Lauer, NBC News Chairman Andrew Lack said the following: “On Monday night, we received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by Matt Lauer… “Our highest priority is to create a workplace environment where everyone feels safe and protected, and to ensure that any actions that run counter to our core values are met with consequences, no matter who the offender. “We are deeply saddened by this turn of events. But we will face it together as a news organization – and do it in as transparent a manner as we can.” We’ll continue to keep readers apprised of this horrible story as it develops.
