One would think after five episodes and three seasons in less than 18 months, The Voice ‘s blind auditions would start to fizzle a bit. Hasn’t been the case so far. The judges are on fire (namely Blake) and the talent keeps pouring in. Let’s break down the contestants who advanced last night, with video performances … Team Adam Levine Benji, a former race car driver, slayed with “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.” Dude just commanded the stage and showed off some seriously impressive range:

The Voice Season 3 Premiere Recap: Still Lovin’ You Blind

The Voice returned for Season 3 last night, premiering in the fall for the first time (perhaps to stir up unfriendly competition and level The X Factor). For whatever reason, Blake Shelton’s folksy, borderline inappropriate wise cracks are back, along with Cee Lo Green’s eccentricities and cockatoos. Christina Aguilera’s booty is off the charts (in a good way), and Adam Levine continues to impress in his role as a judge, mentor and showman. Oh yeah, the blind auditions were pretty cool too. Team Christina Aguilera The format is the same: With their backs turned to a singing hopeful, the judges turn around if they like what they see … er, what they don’t see. If more than one turns around, then the candidate gets to choose his or her coach. Xtina got her first team member Monday night with De’Borah.

Making It Rain On Them Man Hoes–Lady Killer Cee Lo Green Signs Sitcom Deal With NBC

NBC’s putting black folks back on Primetime TV… there’s a new sitcom in the works and artist/producer/ The Voice judge Cee Lo Green , hot off of his acting debut in Sparkle, is set to be the star! The Voice mentor is expanding his relationship with the network to the scripted side with a comedy project loosely based on his real-life relationship with his ex-wife and children. He also has signed a first-look deal with NBC. Green is set to star and executive produce the multi-camera comedy, from Sony TV and studio-based Happy Madison. Comedy veteran Ali Leroi, co-creator of Everybody Hates Chris and developer of Are We There Yet?, will write the comedy, starring Green as a version of himself as he tries to balance his career as a top recording artist and his frenetic home life. A deal for the project at NBC is now in final negotiations. This would mark the TV acting debut for Green, who added actor to his resume with the feature Sparkle. He is executive producing the NBC comedy with Leroi, Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson, Andrew Jameson and Larry Mestel. He follows in the footsteps of Voice co-star Adam Levine, who produced a comedy project at NBC last season and now is making his acting debut on the second season of FX’s American Horror Story. President Obama In Atlanta Today For Tyler Perry Fundraiser

President Barack Obama will be arriving in Atlanta this afternoon for a series of fundraisers, including one at the Tyler Perry studios that will feature a performance by Atlanta’s own Cee-Lo Green . Before returning to the White House , President Obama will visit Tyler Perry’s home for an exclusive party that cost $35,800 per head. At least 60 people are expected to attend. The White House has not publicly released the president’s travel plans, but according to the White House’s web site , President Obama is scheduled to land at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 5:30 pm. Any route from Hartsfield to Tyler Perry’s southwest Atlanta studios would likely involve I-285 or I-85, as well as surface streets. New Bar-Coded Condoms Track Where You Have Sex

Discovery News reports that Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest has distributed 55,000 condoms around local colleges and universities that feature implanted QR codes, which track when and where people have sex. The reported data is stored on a website called WhereDidYouWearIt.com , all in the name of public health, of course. The way it works is each condom has a barcode which the user can scan with their Smartphone to upload their location as well as general details of their sexual experience (anonymously). A rep for Planned Parenthood said: “Condoms are an essential tool in preventing unintended pregnancy and stopping the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV… We hope the site promotes discussions within relationships about condoms and helps to remove perceived stigmas that some people may have about condom use. Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter-rapper Cee-Lo Green has signed with Grand Central Publishing to publish his memoir next year. The as-yet untitled book will “tell the personal and candid story of how he found his voice as an artist and a showman.” Mediabistro.com says that fellow Goodie Mob member Big Gipp and Rolling Stone reporter David Wild will also aid with the project. In a statement, Atlanta-native Cee-Lo said about the release: “After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be. You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As CeeLo Green, a.k.a. ‘everybody’s brother,’ I will make you a believer. After emotional hometown dates , The Bachelor jetted off to Switzerland for the penultimate episode of the season (the Women Tell All special is next week). Nicki Sterling, Lindzi Cox and Courtney Robertson vied for the final two roses doled out by Ben Flajnik … as did another familiar face in a non-shocking return. Could Kacie Boguskie cajole her way back into the mix? Clearly contrived time-filling plot twists aside, Courtney preemptively shifted into damage control mode and Lindzi made her case as the season’s dark horse. Yes, we went with a horse joke there. Again. Too easy. Who made the final two heading into the March 12 finale? Were The Bachelor spoilers right, or did Ben pull a surprise? Here’s THG’s +/-
