Fashion magazines keep promising to show us supermodels and other celebrities naked, and we keep falling for it, even though all we ever get after flipping through one of these glossy periodicals is the stink of perfume samples on our hands and a patronizing smile from the lady at Barnes & Noble. The 2012 edition of Allure Magazine’s annual “Look Better Naked” feature is mostly more of the same as Extra ‘s Maria Menounous , Smash ‘s Debra Messing , Think Like a Man ‘s Taraji P. Henson , Homeland ‘s Morena Baccarin , and model Heidi Klum all pose “magazine naked” with the good parts obscured from view. Naturally, the accompanying copy praises these celebs for their bravery for exposing parts of themselves that wouldn’t even be blurred out on a major network sitcom, but in Mr. Skin’s book, if it ain’t boobs, bush or butt, then it’s not really nude. So special commendation belongs to Leslie Bibb , currently starring on the series GCB , for surpassing all of our cynical expectations by actually showing full buttcrack in a fashion magazine. Black folks want reality show love too! Over the years, one of the most commonly asked questions about “ The Bachelor ” has been why are there not more African-American men and women on the show. If you believe a new lawsuit that has been filed, then the responsible parties may well be the people working behind the scenes at the popular reality show. Via TMZ reports : “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” are about to get a thorny rose — in the form of a lawsuit. We’re told the 2 plaintiffs — both African Americans — went to a Nashville hotel to audition for the role of bachelor. Christopher Johnson — an aspiring NFL player — claims when he arrived a producer asked him what he was doing there. Johnson and the other plaintiff, Nathaniel Claybrooks, both say they were taken to the side of the room and left out of the normal audition process. Neither was called back, and they believe it’s because of their race. They will be filing a class action lawsuit in federal court Wednesday AM. We’re told ABC, Warner Horizon Television, Next Entertainment, NZK Productions and creator Mike Fleiss, will all be sued. ‘Voice’ coaches recording track for Aguilera’s upcoming album. By John Mitchell Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Photo: Gregg DeGuire/ Getty Images We already know Christina Aguilera is hard at work on her upcoming album, and now we have confirmation that at least one of her fellow “The Voice” coaches will appear on the still-untitled set, due out later this year. Talking to Billboard , Cee Lo Green revealed that he is working on a track with Aguilera, but declined to give much information about the song itself — other than it is happening and it is at least partly recorded. “It’s a song for her album. I won’t disclose the title, because it could possibly be a working title,” Green said. “We’ve talked about it amongst ourselves, and I’m gonna go in on it and work it out. It’ll be the second song we’ve done.” The first song they recorded together was the demo “Nasty,” which was recorded for but ultimately not included on the soundtrack to Aguilera’s film “Burlesque.” “I just gotta get in there and … splash,” Green continued, implying that Aguilera already recorded her vocal for the unnamed track. After a recent “Voice” taping, Aguilera told the show’s social-media correspondent Christina Milian that she has been hitting the studio in whatever free time she can find in her busy schedule with the TV hit. “I started [the album] whenever I started this show, and then [the show] kind of took off into this big thing,” Aguilera explained. “So, the show used to be a side project and kind of turned into a bigger time-fulfilling, dedicated project for me.” The pop star, who appeared on Maroon 5’s #1 hit “Moves Like Jagger” last year, is working with a variety of producers and songwriters on the effort. “It’s just filled with fun and excitement, and it’s gonna come out later this year,” Aguilera added. “I’m very, very excited to share it with my fans, finally.” Who would you like to hear Christina collaborate with on her new album?
