TV Guide Editor: “[Taraji] Was Never Intended To Be The Focus Of Our Cover Story”

Continued here:

Yesterday, actress Taraji P. Henson, made it clear that she was very upset with TV Guide after they excluded her from her cast mates on the cover of the TV Guide issue focusing on “Point Of Interest.” Taraji who is the only female lead on the show wasn’t included there or in certain promotinal billboard. TooFab.com spoke with the  Editor-in-Chief of TV Guide Magazine who says “I made an editorial decision to do a story about the relationship between the two male characters on ‘Person of Interest’ and that’s who I was going to put on the cover. That has been my decision all along, ever since I saw the pilot. We’re certainly fans of Taraji Henson and her storyline on the show was never intended to be the focus of our cover story. I don’t know where there was a misunderstanding about this, but it’s been clear to everyone from the start. I don’t make decisions on who is put and not put on the cover based on race or gender.” Hm, sounds like a race issue to me! TV Guide Doesn’t Include Taraji P. Excerpt from:

Although Twitter is a great way to network and stay up to date with your favorite celebrities, it has become the number social media platform for foolery. There are millions of people around the world using Twitter daily and sometimes things can get a bit out of hand. We have seen celebrity feuds and beefs live on Twitter. However Twitter will keep you laughing until your stomach is hurting. One of the funniest things about Twitter are the parody accounts that get created. Most of the time your favorite celebrity are the butt of those jokes. Check out TUD’s 10 wackiest Twitter accounts below. @KatStacksBangs – Created in honor of Kat Stacks’s famous bangs that she is known for.  ” Dat bitch @ necolebitchie jus mad she can’t get her muthafuckin bangs like me. Learn the game hoe NO MUTHAFUCKIN SCISSORS.” @FabsTeeth – Created in honor of rapper Fabolous’s world famous chipped tooth. Like Fabolous this parody accounts spits bars about his teeth. “Toothpaste plus me, it equals better math./ Ya boy tooth chiped i miss my other half.” @RayJ_Hoodie – Created in honor of the red hoodie Ray J wore during his fight with Fabolous. The account has reached almost 3K followers and repping hard. ” Nah @ JoeBudden you are not with # MoneyTeam blood. He seems to always have something inspirational to tweet about. Things have gotten so bad that people who follow Tyrese has started to complain. Just like Tyrese this Parody account can’t spell. “TI goes to gel for riding on a bus and Gucci Mane goes to gel for throw a battery. Shit is  # FUCKEDUP ” @NotGaryBusey – This parody account is not Gary Busey. One of the first parody accounts in honor of a celebrity but not the celebrity. I know it doesn’t make sense but just like Gary Busey this Twitter account is wacky as all hell. “Can you get a DUI riding a dog?  I need to know because I’m drunk and your mom wants to come over. # BOOM ” @ChrisBrownBowTie – When Chris Brown appeared on Larry King wearing a blue bow tie everyone on Twitter had jokes. Moments later the infamous Bow Tie had a Twitter account of its own. Chris Brown recently released his rap mixtape and maybe he got the idea from this Twitter account. “go head ask Rhi how my left hand feel / baby run away with me / f**k that Def Jam deal” @WaynesJeggins – Creted after Lil’ Wayne debut his now famous jeggins on 2011′s VMAs. This parody account has some self esteem issue. Wayne’s Jeggins wants to be worn more often. “i got da perfect outfit for da Hip-Hop Awards … Sum Red & White vans , a pair of us Jeggings ,  @ RayJ_Hoodie & a Bulls Snapback  # MAJORSWAG ” @BeyonceJayFetus – Seems like the entire world has been waiting for Jay-Z and Beyonce to get pregnant. The two finally announced the good news at the 2011 VMAs and world just can’t stop talking about it. “Grandpa Matthew is trying to sign me as a client already. How am I even supposed to get a pen in here?” @Frees_Ass – Created in honor of Free’s booty. The account was created after Free appeared on the 2011 BET Awards and had every man who watched mouth watering. “LMMFAO somebody planked on me!!  http://twitpic.com/5hz83z # FreesAss ” Follow @itsJazzyFBaby Recent Posts: 50 Cent Takes Control Of Rick Ross’s Twitter? Breakfast at Tiffany’s at 50: We Need to Talk About Mr. Yunioshi

As delightful as it is to watch Audrey Hepburn flitting about New York in Breakfast at Tiffany’s , gazing adoringly at jewels and pretty things and falling in love as party girl Holly Golightly — the original Carrie Bradshaw — a shadow has loomed over that film for decades: Namely, Mickey Rooney’s cartoonish turn as Mr. Yunioshi, the buck-toothed, bespectacled and slightly pervy Japanese man who lives upstairs. The good news, circa 2011, is that after years of not knowing exactly how to address that ugly, embarrassing moment in classic Hollywood cinema — hindsight and all that — Paramount Pictures, releasing the 50th Anniversary Blu-ray this week, offers a concerted effort to make amends.

Celebrities React To The Execution Of Troy Davis

Follow this link:

Troy Davis was executed last night (September 22nd) in Jackson, Georgia for being convicted of killing an off-duty Savannah police officer, and several celebrities reacted strongly via Twitter. His case received international attention after an informer’s testimony that helped convict him turned out to be false, and several witnesses recanted. Davis was supposed to die by lethal injection last night at 7 pm, but it was delayed as the Supreme Court reviewed his case. His appeal for a reprieve was denied, and Davis was pronounced dead at 11:08 pm. Davis was 42. Davis’ lawyer stated, “Tonight the state of Georgia legally lynched an innocent man. Tonight I witnessed something tragic.” Many others agree and call Davis’ execution a miscarriage of justice. Top 10 Celebrity Fights

So word is Fabolous knocked Ray J the f**k out at the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight in Vegas this past weekend. This is just one of many celebrity fights to have occurred over in the past few years. Is it me or aren’t these fights always the most random match ups we never expect? Sometimes celebrities fight over real issues and other times it’s just the dumbest things you can ever imagine. TUD has decided to compile a list of the top 10 celebrity fights that have played out in the public and on the blogs. Check out the list below! 10. Usher Vs. Bobby Brown- Now this was not a real fight but the blogs were buzzing about Usher and Bobby Brown getting into an altercation. We would love to see two of R&B greats go at it as if they were really competing for the title but that was not the case. Bobby Brown attended Usher’s birthday party where he greeted Usher who was so happy to see him, he put Bobby in a headlock. Bobby tried to tell Usher he could not breathe but Usher couldn’t hear him over the loud music. Bobby then picked Usher up holding him over the DJ booth when Usher’s security came to his rescue. 9. Foxy Brown Vs. Jacki-O – Foxy is considered the most controversial female rapper of all time. So no one is surprised when she gets into fights. Back in 2005, Foxy Brown and Jacki-O got into a fight down in Miami. Rumor is Jacki-O and rapper, Gravy, were in the studio recording when Foxy Brown showed up along with her nasty attitude. Jacki-O, who wishes she could have a rap career like Foxy once had, was not feeling how shady Foxy was being and put feet on her. Check out the video where Jacki-O speaks on the altercation and Foxy’s response saying it never happened and Jacki-O was just fishing for free press. Jacki-O later released a diss record aimed at Foxy titled “TKO.” 8. Joe Budden Vs. Raekwon- We all know Joe Budden loves having drama played out on cameras. He somehow believes it will help his brand and he will one day go platinum.  The beef started with Joe Budden talking trash about being better than Method Man. Now you already know the Wu is going to hold it down. At Rock The Bells 09, someone in The Wu-Tang’s camp swung on Joe. Of course, Joe Budden would make a video holding a ice pack to his face. Check the video out HERE . 7. Maino Vs. Yung Berg- Maino made it clear that he was not being a bully. The two were on tour together at the time and Maino was even featured on Yung Berg’s “The Business” remix. Yung Berg approached Maino at a club in Atlanta. “I heard you was talking reckless about me” is what Yung Berg said to Maino. Being from the streets of Brooklyn, Maino open handed slapped him. Check out the audio where Maino speaks on what happen. 6. Ne-Yo Vs. Jim Jones- This is a rare match up that we never saw coming. The fight took place at the Louis Vuitton store on 5th Avenue in New York City. Word is one of Jim Jones’ goons made a disrespectful comment about Jay-Z to Ty Ty, who is Jay’s best friend, and when Ty Ty responded things got crazy. A source told MTO that someone had a Prada shoe on Ne-Yo’s neck. Sounds like a serious brawl doesn’t it? No one suffered any major injuries. Charges against Jim Jones were pressed and he later appeared in court and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket. Jim Jones says he was lucky not to have received any time behind bars. 5. Ray J Vs. Fabolous- We never saw this one coming. Ray J and Fabolous scrapping down after the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight is just hilarious. Now the fight is rumored to be instigated by 50 Cent. We all know how 50 can get the beef popping off. The altercation started off as just jokes but things got real after 50 instigated. This resulted in Fabolous hitting Ray J with a two piece and a biscuit leaving him unconscious. Word is Ray J’s jewelry was stolen in the process. Read about the full story HERE . 4. Junior Mafia Vs. Dipset- Just may be one of those classic hip hop beefs. Brooklyn Vs. Harlem if you really want to take it there. The brawl took place about 10 years ago at Ruker Park in Harlem, NY.  We still don’t exactly know how this fight got started but according to JM, Cam’ron fled the scene when things got real. Check out the video where Lil’ Cease and Junior Mafia speak on the brawl.    3. Jay-Z Vs. R. Kelly – When the best of both worlds go wrong. There were rumors of Jay-Z and R-Kelly having some disagreements while touring for their second joint album Unfinished Business . I would assume the rumors true when R. Kelly was sprayed in the face with pepper spray by Jay-Z’s best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith. This occurred when R. Kelly had stopped the concert and exited the stage, claiming he saw two men with guns in the audience.  This caused Jay-Z to put an end to the tour. R. Kelly wanted to go on, but Jay had enough of R. Kelly’s wild antics and continued on without him with the help of artist like Kanye West, Foxy Brown, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott and more, calling the show Jay-Z and Friends.  R. Kelly later hit Jay with a $75 million breach of contract lawsuit. 2. Jay-Z Vs. Lance “Un” Rivera- Now we still don’t know the truth about this fight as Nas pointed out in his “Ether” diss. The incident dates back to December 1999 when Jay was gearing up to release “Life & Times Of S. Cater” Vol. 3. Word had got back to Jay-Z that Un was responsible for his album being leaked before the release date. Jay-Z and his entourage ran into Un at The Kit Kat Club on west 43rd street in New York City. Rumor has it during the altercation Jay-Z stabbed Lance. Later, Rivera drafted a civil suit against Jay-Z  but never filed it after the two settled out of court for about $500,000 to $1 million. 1. Diddy Vs. Steve Stoute- Nas’s “Hate Me Now” video displayed Diddy and Nas being nailed to a cross like Jesus. Diddy later did not want the world to see him like that because of his religion. Steve Stoute who was Nas’a manager at the time promised Diddy that he would have him taken out of that part of the video. The video premiered with both Nas and Diddy being nailed to a cross. This resulted in Diddy and his bodyguards breaking into Steve Stoute’s office and hit him over the head with a champagne bottle. Now what I wanna know is, did Diddy bring the champagne bottle with him or did he hit Steve Stoute in the head with his own Champagne bottle? Taryn Manning’s Hard Face Doesn’t Like Me Very Much of the Day

I’ve been facebook friends with Taryn Manning for a while. She deletes me every once in a while because she doesn’t like my comments…and yesterday…she went so far as to tell me off on her facebook wall… I was going to fight back, like I would have in the old days, back before I totally alienated myself from every single celebrity who I probaby could have played in a lot smarter if I knew celebrities weren’t such fucking pussies…but why bother…who cares about this virtual no name, why rip into her, cuz all she’s gonna do is block me…when I’d rather annoy her some more before she blocks me…when ultimately, I know I’m going to get blocked…it is just a matter of when… Here are the pics of her at some charity DJ event – cuz she hasn’t got wind that being a 40 year old DJ who was once in movies is pretty fucking low level…if not pathetic…

Nicki Minaj And More New York Fashion Week Highlights

Betsey Johnson, Charlotte Ronson, Rebecca Minkoff and Tracy Reese present MTV News’ favorite Spring 2012 collections. By Christina Garibaldi Nicki Minaj Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/ WireImage New York Fashion Week is officially a wrap! Designers, models and fashionistas gathered around Lincoln Center in NYC to get a front-row seat to all the hottest looks for the Spring 2012 season. MTV News was there to give you a backstage pass to all the top designers and fill you in on all the latest trends. Here are the highlights: Betsey Johnson Betsey Johnson doesn’t just put on a runway show — she throws a party. The 69-year-old pint-sized fashionista folded all of her well-known looks — leopard, sequins, ruffles and lace — and came out with a line that was funky, bright and inspired. So, where did Johnson get her inspiration? From Nicki Minaj , of course! “I was watching Nicki Minaj and my daughter Lulu, and I’m thinking, ‘They are the body type,’ ” Betsey said of making the looks for her spring line. “I love [Nicki], and she really wears my stuff. She likes real tight. She’s just my most, most, most favorite girl right now.” Minaj, who was sitting front row in a tutu and blue cotton-candy hair, was in awe that her fashion icon is such a fan. “She’s a free spirit,” Nicki said of Betsey. “When I met her the other day, I felt like I knew her for my whole life. She’s so warm and considerate and caring. She’s amazingly talented, and I’ve been wearing her clothes forever, so to meet her was like, ‘Yay!’ I was bowing down to her. She’s dope!” Charlotte Ronson Charlotte Ronson kicked off our week with a retro feel, bringing us back to the ’70s with her Boho flare. Ronson’s ready-to-wear looks were inspired by the Victorian era, but of course, she added her signature grunge style to complete her collection. “It actually first started off being more Victorian: lots of light, sheer dresses and covered buttons and high necklines,” Ronson said of the inspiration behind her spring line. “It always falls into more of a Boho, ’70s feel, but then each season, we also add a little more grunge factor, and that comes in more with button-downs and pajama pants and patchwork denim and the crop tops and things like that.” Celebrity attendees included Kelly Osbourne, Whitney Port, Nicky Hilton and, as usual, Charlotte’s sister, Samantha Ronson, was on hand DJing the event. Tracy Reese Designer Tracy Reese’s Spring 2012 line was bursting at the seams with bright colors, flowy dresses and floral prints, making this line perfect for the everyday woman. “I wanted to do something very romantic, an ode to spring,” Reese said. “The clothes are very romantic, but very useful, very wearable. A lot of great color: brights, hot pinks, neons, beautiful blues — but the whole range from a sweet misty blue to a dark, strong peacock — pops of yellow and pretty neutrals to balance the whole thing out.” Rebecca Minkoff Rebecca Minkoff has made a name for herself designing purses that we constantly see used by A-list celebrities including Vanessa Hudgens, Blake Lively and Fashion Week front-row attendee Michelle Trachtenberg. “Her clothes make up half of my closet,” Trachtenberg told us on the runway. “[Her line] looks beautiful. You can literally walk it off the runway.” Minkoff’s spring line showed a collection of day-to-night outfits, complete with neons, beachwear and rocker-chic blazers. “What I love about this collection: It’s full of texture, really great color, a lot of brights — just happy spring,” Minkoff told us backstage. “I really concentrated on color, texture and just a little bit of sexy with an edge.” For complete coverage of New York Fashion Week , visit MTV Style.
