Last week Iggy attacked Nicki Minaj fans and bizarrely claimed that none of them have done anything with their lives. This week she’s attacking flawless 17-year-old pop star Lorde. They may be from the same part of the world but Aussie Iggy and New Zealander Lorde apparently have very different views on what constitutes appropriate material for a cover song: Lorde joined the surviving members of Nirvana to perform “All Apologies” at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in April. Insiders allege T.I. confronted Mayweather over a photo the former’s wife posted to Instagram of herself and Mayweather’s daughter, believing some tawdry was afoot. In an interview Florence’s La Nazione newspaper today, the rapper said of the city in which he may get hitched this month: “I adore Florence. I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle. To tell you the truth, I already came to the banks of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito.” And that wasn’t the only time Kim and Kanye visited the region. “I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces,” West added. “It was our first honeymoon. Tyler the Creator made some surprising comments about fellow rapper Iggy Azalea on BET’s 106 and Park yesterday. We thought the trailer for the LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian reality show was the most ridiculous thing on the Internet, but it turns out that title may belong to LeAnn’s Twitter page. LeAnn has apparently discovered something called Stepmother’s Day and since it presents an opportunity for her to take subtle shots at her longtime rival Brandi Glanville, she’s all about it! “Mother’s Day vs. Stepmother’s Day: Who Owns It?” LeAnn tweeted yesterday along with a link to an article about the corny new holiday. We can understand why a stepmom of two such as LeAnn would appreciate a holiday of her own (Though can’t you just buy your mom and stepmom the same crappy card on Mother’s Day and be done with it?), but the way she’s pitted the two days against one another feels like a shot at Brandi. Naturally, some followers pointed out that LeAnn’s tweet (and the telling link to Huffington Post Divorce ) may be construed as an inappropriate diss directed at Brandi, LeAnn responded as she usually does: she got pissed! “Do some people only read headlines these days?” LeAnn tweeted. “There is a Stepmother’s day, let’s celebrate it…THAT’S ALL!” Even if the tweet really was completely innocent and she only intended to point out that the holiday exists, surely someone like LeAnn who’s lived her entire life in the spotlight could’ve guessed that some might take her comment as a continuation of her very public feud with Brandi.
