Poor Scott Disick. We never thought we'd write those words, but the troubled reality star is a guest on Kocktails with Khloe this week and the following sneak peek makes it clear that his life isn't exactly all it's cracked up to be. Yes, we see photos and videos of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast member partying and drinking and posing alongside expensive vehicle… and it certainly appears as if he's happy. As if not much in life matters to him except material items. But after Malika Haqq asks Disick what is next for him, take a look at what Disick told the show’s fellow guest. “A lot of people think that [I] only care about money and cars, and don't realize it's more just about insecurities, and how much I care about my friends and my family,” Disick explains. “I really would rather never be in a tabloid again, but if I'm gonna be, at least it [should] be about that Scott isn't what everybody thinks he is.” Disick, of course, spent nine years as he boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian . He is the father to her three kids. But she kicked him to the curb last summer after cheating allegations became too much for her to handle. “I have money,” Disick says while seated next to Mr. Kylie Jenner himself, Tyga. “The more money I have, the less happy I am. So the only thing I'm trying to focus on is just calming down, and just focusing on the kids, and just trying to be a good dad.” For the sake of those kids, let's hope he succeeds. The scandalous saga continues as Rob Kardashian has packed his bags and moved in with Blac Chyna, according to a new report. Rob had been living at Khloe Kardashian’s house, but has reportedly been shacking up with Chyna since he DM’d her two weeks ago. Sources quoted by TMZ assert that he genuinely likes Chyna and is not hooking up to piss off his family, but man alive has it done so. Kylie Jenner has been at war with her for over a year (Blac is Tyga’s baby mama), and many believe this romance is Blac’s latest salvo. Rob has known her for awhile, however; Chyna lived across the street from him way back when she was Kim Kardashian’s best friend. Oh yes, Blac was once a Kardashian BFF, not a mortal enemy. Blac has also been a surprisingly positive influence on Rob with regard to his health, insiders say, as he’s using her equipment to train. Counseling Rob on his diet and working out with him like a madman, Chyna’s helping Rob lose weight following his diabetes diagnosis. In all likelihood, this was a joke, but by sharing it and not denying anything, he may have just subtly acknowledged this simple truth: The rumors of Robert Jr.’s romance with Blac are the real deal, and they’re secretly loving that the Internet is obsessed with them. Details Of Sarah Palin’s Relationship With Glen Rice Detailed In Biography “The Rogue” You may remember this story from a couple years ago , when former NBA sharpshooter Glen Rice confirmed that he had bumped uglies with vapid ex-Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, back when he was in college. Today, we have more intimate details about the swirly relationship thanks to the folks at Deadspin now that Joe McGinniss’s has released his new book “The Rogue” After her graduation, Sarah returned to Alaska and worked on the sports desk of Anchorage television station KTUU. On weekends, she’d sometimes appear on camera, delivering sports reports during the 10:00 PM newscast. Her attitude toward people of color was evolving. In Anchorage, she even dated black men. A friend says, “Sarah and her sisters had a fetish for black guys for a while.” Each year, over Thanksgiving weekend, the University of Alaska hosted a basketball tournament called the Great Alaska Shootout, featuring some of the country’s best teams. In 1987, one of the top squads to visit Anchorage was the University of Michigan, led by six-foot-eight junior Glen Rice, number 41. Rice would lead Michigan to the NCAA Championship in 1989, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated and setting a scoring record for the NCAA tournament that stands today. After graduating from Michigan as the school’s all-time leading scorer, he starred in the NBA for fifteen years. Whether in her professional capacity as a sports reporter or simply as a basketball groupie who’d begun to find black men attractive, Sarah linked up with the Rice during the weekend tournament. One friend recalls, “They went out. I suspect it was more than that. She couldn’t believe she’d done it.” Glen Rice remembers the weekend quite differently. When I spoke to him by telephone in March 2011, he said, “I remember it as if it was yesterday. She was a sweetheart. I met her almost as soon as we got out there.” Rice does not recall being in a university dorm room. “We hung out mostly at the hotel where the team was staying,” he told me. “We just hit off. In a short time, we got to know a lot about one another. It was all done in a respectful way, nothing hurried.” “So you never had the feeling she felt bad about having sex with a black guy?” I asked. “No, no, no, nothing like that,” Rice said. “Even after I left Alaska, we talked a lot on the phone. I think right up until the time she got married. She was a gorgeous woman. Super nice. I was blown away by her. Afterward, she was a big crush that I had. I talked about her for a long time. Only good things. She was a well-rounded young lady. It’s amazing the way that’s stayed with me. ESPN Graphics Producer Ted Brown Dead At 36 This weekend ESPN suffered a major loss when 36-year-old graphics producer Ted Brown was unable to be revived after being hit with a heart attack while covering the Australian Open in Melbourne. Broadcaster Chris Fowler delivered a moving speech dedicated to his colleague, who was described by coworkers as “a complete professional” and an excellent karaoke singer: Our friend and colleague, Ted Brown, is gone much too soon. Study Shows 47% Of Black Men In Chicago Are Neither In School Nor Working A new study shows that almost half of all young African American men in Chicago are neither in school or unemployed according to Chicago Tribune reports: Forty-seven percent of 20- to 24-year-old black men in Chicago, and 44 percent in Illinois, were out of school and out of work in 2014, compared with 20 percent of Hispanic men and 10 percent of white men in the same age group, according to the report from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Great Cities Institute. The numbers for black men are far worse in Chicago and Illinois than elsewhere in the country. In Los Angeles and New York City, 31 percent of black 20- to 24-year-old men were out of school and out of work, in line with the national average of 32 percent. While declines in youth employment across all races have raised concerns for a number of years, the new report puts into stark focus the connection between unemployment and Chicago’s racially segregated neighborhoods that also are home to high rates of poverty and crime. The report shows the highest concentration of youth unemployment is in neighborhoods on the city’s South and West sides, especially Fuller Park, Englewood, East Garfield Park and North Lawndale, each of which is more than 90 percent black. Twitter can be an awful place, especially if users think you’ve done something wrong. Kailyn Lowry is feeling the heat from those who follow her marriage to Javi Marroquin, and they’re accusing her of not being a good mother or wife. Some claim that Lowry has been traveling so much that she wasn’t with her son, Isaac, on his birthday. “She missed isacs birthday right? And javi deploying. She’s something else ,” one wrote, according Starplus. “marriage is a sham,” declared another. “she never wears her wedding ring,” someone else wrote. “She never posts sweet things on social media either.” Lowry responded to the comments, laughing them off as ridiculous speculation. “Are y’all on drugs?” she wrote. “I had a party for my son and a going away din for Javi lol!” In the past, Lowry has admitted that she and Marroquin, who married in November 2013, have gone through their share of struggles. “Javi and I don’t fight like we used to,” Lowry told Radar Online back in November. “And I think we kind of understand each other a lot better right now… We don’t have a whole lot of drama right now and we are just trying to make things work and figure things out.” “I think [it was] Javi recognizing his place in what all of our problems and me recognizing my own, just kind of taking responsibility for our own actions and stuff like that,” Lowry continued. “Just also having an understanding that we [respect] each other’s personal space too kind of helped us.” Lowry is currently recovering from plastic surgery in Miami; the mom-of-town had liposuction, a butt lift and a tummy tuck.
