We felt the love depicted in this clip is so beautiful and groundbreaking and stands at such a contrast to the many negative stereotypes carried out about our race that we wanted to share with you as part of our political content for the day. Watch below as Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announces the selection of 25 of America’s most influential motion pictures to be inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress because of their cultural, historic and aesthetic importance to the nation’s film heritage. Family Of Kenneka Jenkins, Girl Found Dead In Freezer, Sues Rosemont Hotel For $50 Million [Video]
Source: Chicago Tribune / Getty Family Of Kenneka Jenkins Files Lawsuit Files Lawsuit Against Rosemont Hotel According to ABC Chicago the mother of Kenneka Jenkins, a young woman found dead in a Rosemont hotel freezer, has filed a lawsuit demanding $50 million in damages. Kenneka Jenkins disappeared in September 2017 while attending a hotel party with friends at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Surveillance video footage showed her wandering alone through a kitchen area and toward the freezer. Jenkins’ body was found the next day, leaving her relatives questioning whether she was murdered, but police are adamant her death was from hypothermia. The family claims the defendants were negligent because they didn’t secure the freezer or carry out a proper search when Jenkins went missing.

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Was Tommie Lee Secretly Seeing A Woman’s Husband Before He Passed Away? Tommie Lee shocked followers yesterday after breaking down into tears on an Instagram live stream over the passing of a lover. On the stream, Tommie’s face looked puffy and eyes were red from crying before she broke down about how much she “missed out” on telling a “loved one” what he meant to her before he passed away. Problem is, her public mourning is pissing off his supposed wife! Tommie’s deceased lover is a man named Chiko Juan. Chiko Juan was reportedly killed in a triple shooting. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the shooting took place on the night of December 12 at around 9 p.m. in an apartment complex in South Fulton, Georgia. Juan, was killed and two others were wounded. Authorities told the media that the shooting took place after a group of men got into a fight. There are no suspects of the shooting outstanding and that no witnesses have come forward. Tommie posted up a couple of videos in Chiko’s memory…but it wasn’t long before friend’s of his baby mama jumped in to check her, hit the flip to find out what was said.

Pulmonary Plane: A Human Heart Was Found On Southwest Flight Causing The Plane To Turn Around
Source: Gary Hershorn / Getty Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Southwest Airlines proves you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. On Sunday, a plane traveling from Seattle to Dallas was forced to turn around in mid flight after officials realized a human heart had been left on board. The Seattle Times reports: Passengers were shocked when the captain explained that the heart was intended for delivery to a Seattle hospital after a previous flight from Sacramento. A Southwest spokesman said it was “absolutely necessary” to get the cargo back “as quickly as possible.” The heart had traveled from California to Washington state, across Idaho and back to Washington. The Southwest flight spent about three hours in the air before landing back at Sea-Tac Airport. Dr. Andrew Gottschalk was traveling on the flight and told the paper that while everyone aboard “was happy to save a life,” he still thought the incident was a “horrific story of gross negligence.” Southwest still hasn’t revealed the name of the company that shipped the human heart, but confirmed that it “specialized in shipments that are life critical”. Lordy.
