The “Just Being Honest” songstress is revealing that she secretly contemplated ending her life and only her family members knew about it. “I dealt with depression on a very serious level for like a year-and-a-half, and I never said anything to my fans,” Sevyn told Vibe Vixen. “Obviously, my mom and my dad and my brother, a few family members, knew about it — but it was really, really hard. I wanted to kill myself, I really did. And through my family, and God and prayer, it turned around. So what triggered Sevyn’s bout with depression? Turning 30. “Turning 30 was a big trigger for me,” added Sevyn. “This is not like when you graduate high school and you get your diploma. You go to college for four years, or whatever period of time, and you get your degree. You did it, and you get to move on. I’ve literally been doing the same exact thing every day with the same amount of intensity and focus, since I was 15 years old. To look up and be 30 years old, and to feel like this hasn’t happened yet, but you can’t quit because you’re just going to be throwing away all the years that you put into it [music]. That in itself can take a toll. I don’t care what you do in life, you want to be successful, you want to feel like you accomplished certain things.” We’re so glad to see that Sevyn’s in a much better place. She’s currently promoting her debut album “Girl Disrupted” that hit stores July 7. Will you be buying???

A 22-year-old University of Arizona student was reportedly beaten to death outside a bar by a dozen peole while on vacation on a Greek island. ABC Reports say Austin Native Bakari Henderson had gotten into an argument with a bouncer inside the bar and things escalted. More people joined in, beating the young man unconscious. Greek Police have arrested a 34-year-old Greek man and a 32-year-old British man of Serbian origin, on murder charges, according to New York Daily News.

Cops showed up and put the bracelets on him and took him away. He posted $20,000 bail this morning. How, Sway?? Reports says the teen girl, Evelyn Beatriz Hernandez Cruz, was convicted on the grounds that failing to seek antenatal care amounted to murder. The teen says she didn’t know she was pregnant until she gave birth in a toilet last year, after falling ill with acute back and stomach pain. She had been repeatedly raped by a gang member over several months as part of a forced sexual relationship according to reports. But, east El Salvadorian courts still found her guilty of ‘murdering’ her baby by not providing the proper prenatal care. Evelyn’s story is causing outrage, prompting women to protest for her freedom. Latest Legal Battle Between One Time Couple NBA star Gilbert Arenas’ battle with his baby mama – who he sued over alleged lies about him giving her an STD – is turning nasty. A Los Angeles judge has issued a bench warrant for Laura Govan after she didn’t turn up for a hearing on the suit yet again, BOSSIP has learned. Arenas sued Govan – with whom he shares 4 kids – for defamation, accusing her of concocting a scheme to humiliate him in the press – and spreading lies about him giving her STD’s. He explained Govan was bitter after he broke up with her. She decided to write an email to him with the line, “When I left you it was because I couldn’t take the STDs.” However, he claimed it was lies and she leaked it to the media, according to court docs. The judge awarded Arenas a default judgment in the amount of $110,100 and ordered Govan to pay up to her baby daddy Back in January, Arenas filed docs in the case demanding Govan produce her financial information and records for him to examine the amount of assets and property in her possession in order to collect on the $110,000 he is owed. Then recently, the exes were to appear in court, where Arenas was supposed to finally inspect Govan’s financial records because of the judgment he won against her. The hearing was set for June 23rd but once again Govan blew off the hearing and did not show up, according to court records. As a result, the judge issued a bench warrant and ordered bond in the amount of $5,000. The hearing was continued until next month and Arena’s lawyers were instructed to inform Govan to show up or face more consequences by the judge.
