Shaun Sperling’s Bar Mitzvah dance to Madonna’s “Vogue” way back in 1992 was posted online this week, presumably by Shaun or someone close to him and with the hope or expectation that the epic performance would go viral, which it obviously has. Poetry in motion, Shaun. Poetry in motion.
Deeply Indebted Holyfield Forced To Sell Memorabilia From Historic Bouts Poor thang! Now that his home has gone into foreclosure and he’s all moved out , Evander Holyfield is getting rid of a few things. What kinds of things you ask? Oh just memorabilia from historic fights — like his bronze medal from the ’84 Olympics and the gloves from the fight where Tyson bit a piece of his ear off… Evander Holyfield is selling the boxing gloves from the heavyweight bout in which Mike Tyson bit off part of his ear, auctioning medals, championship belts and other memorabilia after losing his home to foreclosure. Holyfield’s bronze medal from the 1984 Olympics also will be included in the sale, according to an e-mailed statement from the Beverly Hills, California-based Julien’s Auctions, which is handling the transactions. Holyfield, 49, moved out of his 109-room home in Fairburn, Georgia, this month after it was sold for $7.5 million in a March foreclosure auction, according to the New York Daily News. He owed more than $14 million on the house, the newspaper said, and owes in excess of $372,000 in child support, according to Yahoo. He’s earned around $250 million during his career, Yahoo said. Holyfield is 44-10-2 in his professional career, with 29 victories coming via knockout. He won titles in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, with victories over Tyson, George Foreman, Larry Holmes and Riddick Bowe. He last fought in July 2011, when he beat Brian Nielsen in 10 rounds. In June 1997, Tyson and Holyfield met in Las Vegas for a rematch of their 1996 fight, when Holyfield won Tyson’s World Boxing Association heavyweight title. Known as the “Bite Fight,” Tyson was disqualified in the third round after he bit off a piece of Holyfield’s right ear. The auction also include over 20 pairs of fight-worn gloves, robes and trunks; championship rings and belts; and autographed posters, according to the release. The auction, which has over 500 items, also includes parts of Holyfield’s life outside of boxing, including furniture, clothing, jewelry and his red 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. The items will be sold in two sessions on Nov. 30. Bidders can participate in person, online or over telephone, according to the statement This is a damned shame. The man made $250 MILLION over the course of his career. We got to do better when it comes to managing our money people… On the bright side at least it’s not a gold medal had to sell off. SMH! Source
Ryan Gosling And Angelina Jolie To Star In ’50 Shades Of Grey’ Movie The latest literary lust-fest to take the Hollyweird scene by storm is headed to the big screen. Fans are growing impatient to see who will be cast in the “50 Shades of Grey” movie. Reports are running wild, and the latest have Ryan Gosling and Angelina Jolie pegged as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, according to Monsters and Critics. Gosling has been a frontrunner for a while. However, Angelina Jolie is much too old for the part of the shy college student turned naughty vixen. Jolie is reportedly “dead-set on a major part. She’s up for the challenge,” said one insider. The “50 Shades of Grey” movie is a hot topic, and executives working behind the scenes likely want to cast the perfect Christian and Anastasia, but in a timely fashion so fans will still be interested with the film hits theaters. Ryan Gosling and Angelina Jolie are just two of the A-list names being thrown around for the lead roles. Others allegedly being considered for the parts are Ian Somerhalder, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, and Channing Tatum. Hmmmm. We wouldn’t mind seeing Ryan or Mr. Magic Mike get freaky deeky on the big screen….who would you cast to play the lead roles? Source
Marilyn Monroe would have been 86 today. The actress and icon died of a drug overdose under still-debated-to-this-day circumstances a half century ago. Her name alone conjures up memories of beauty and tragedy. Marilyn . So talented, so troubled and so profoundly sexual to all those who remember her. Future generations will know her no differently. The enigmatic star, underrated as an actress, stole every scene she was in, from her bit part in All About Eve to her Oscar-worthy role in Some Like It Hot . In her personal life, Monroe made headlines whether she was singing “Happy Birthday” to the president, getting married or showing up late to the set. It’s no wonder Marilyn fascinates, inspires (see Lindsay Lohan Playboy photos , or the below pic Tweeted by Lady Gaga today) and mesmerizes to this day. It’s also no wonder that the late Monroe became the focal point of the film My Week With Marilyn or NBC’s new Broadway-themed series Smash . Marilyn’s career, and life, was pure theater.
After a long investigation, bigamy charges will not be filed against Kody Brown and his four spouses, who gained prominence last year on TLC’s show Sister Wives . The Utah County Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that it will not pursue a criminal case against the Browns, based on the office’s interpretation of state law. Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Buhman said that his office has adopted a formal policy not to prosecute the practice of bigamy unless it occurs in conjunction with another crime or if parties to the marriage or relationship is under 18. “The purpose of this policy is to prevent the future prosecution in Utah County of bigamist marriages entered into for religious reasons,” Buhman wrote. “The criminal case against the Browns is now closed, and no charges will be filed against them for bigamy,” unless new evidence is discovered, he said. Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, issued a statement Thursday, saying they are “delighted by the news that the prosecutors have formally declared that the investigation of our family is at an end.” “We have spent years under investigation and ultimately had to move from the state of Utah to protect our family and particularly our children,” they said. “The decision to create the new policy in light of our lawsuit is wonderful news for not just ourselves but the many thousands of plural families in Utah.” Attorneys for the Browns aren’t dropping their challenge to the law. The Browns sued Utah last year, and attorney Jonathan Turley said that will continue. “While I am pleased that the prosecutors are promising to leave this family alone, the decision will not end our challenge to the state law,” Turley wrote. Attorneys for the Browns filed an 80-page motion and Thursday “challenging the anti-bigamy law on seven distinct constitutional and statutory grounds.” In February, a federal judge ruled there was sufficient evidence to allow the Browns to pursue a lawsuit contesting the constitutionality of Utah’s bigamy law. Should the Sister Wives cast have been prosecuted?

Fat Joe feat. Chris Brown “Another Round” from Riveting Entertainment on Vimeo . After taking a trip the “dark side” Fat Joe is showing his kinder, gentler (and slimmer) side in this new video featuring C-Breezy, “Another Round.” Kind of fitting that he gives an R.I.P. to Heavy D in the beginning, considering he made this whole “romantic big man” lane possible in hip-hop.
