Mila Kunis Bans Her Dad From ‘Black Swan’ Sex Scenes

‘I don’t think any dad should see,’ she tells MTV News. ‘It’s just not necessary.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mila Kunis Photo: MTV News It seems the only thing anyone can talk about when it comes to “Black Swan” is the much-hyped sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. Even Kunis and her dad found themselves discussing the nitty-gritty details. Their conversation amounted to this: Mr. Kunis was banned from watching the scenes in question. “He was like, ‘I don’t think I should see the movie,’ ” Kunis told MTV News. “I was like, ‘See the movie. There’s going to be a point; get up and leave.’ ” And so that’s exactly what happened. When the no-holds-barred sex session came up — a scene Portman previously told us was “not explicit in any way,” but which is undeniably steamy — Kunis gave her dad the signal, and off he went. “I don’t think any dad should see. It’s just not necessary,” she explained. While Kunis avoided some familial awkwardness in that situation, she’s found it more than a little uncomfortable to constantly discuss the sex scene with the press. “Doing [the scene], you never judge your character, so you always have justification for it,” the 27-year-old said. “When you do it, it makes sense while you’re doing it. You don’t feel like it’s you doing it.” She added, “The more I talk about it, the more I have to think about it. We never discussed it. It was like the pink elephant in the room that was never touched upon until it was the day to shoot. Then we just did it really quickly and called it a day.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Black Swan.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Bah, Humbug: 5 Better Scrooges Than Jim Carrey — and 5 Worse Ones

For those of us who thought Robert Zemeckis’ Beowulf was a vast improvement over The Polar Express , A Christmas Carol (out this week from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment) wound up being a disappointing return to the rubbery, dead-eyed characters of that earlier Christmas flick. But at least give Jim Carrey points for trying — he provides the license-to-ham role of Ebenezer Scrooge with his full arsenal of grimaces and twitches and, if nothing else, totally pours himself into the character. (He’s a little less successful playing all the ghosts, but none of his doubling comes close to the creepiness of seeing Gary Oldman play Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim.)

‘X-Men: First Class’ Star James McAvoy Wants To ‘Bury’ Patrick Stewart’s Professor X

New film will reportedly reveal how character lost the ability to walk. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz James McAvoy Photo: MTV News Over six years and three films, Patrick Stewart created an unforgettable representation of Professor X: austere, commanding, lacking a single hair on his head. Four years after Stewart’s appearance in “X-Men: The Last Stand,” a new film in the franchise — “X-Men: First Class” — is in production in England. James McAvoy faces the challenge of reinventing Professor X for a story that takes place before the character lost his hair or adopted his scholarly nickname. How is the 31-year-old actor approaching that challenge? “I’m basically going to try and bury Patrick’s performance,” McAvoy laughed during a conversation with MTV News at the Toronto Film Festival while promoting the historical drama “The Conspirator.” “I think the fun about these films, when you go back and you either reboot or do a prequel, is you get to see how people became who they are,” he continued. “That means that you have to do them differently and by the end of the movie you have to do them the same way. The interesting journey is what happens to them, what changes them, what makes them evolve — not just mutate, but emotionally and psychologically evolve.” Last month, producer Bryan Signer said that McAvoy’s version of the character — here still named simply Charles Xavier — will be , and McAvoy confirmed both those facts for us. “They wanted me to have hair,” he said. “They didn’t want me to go bald and I walk as well.” Apparently, however, “First Class” will tell the story of how Xavier lost the ability to walk. The film will also go a long way toward explaining how the shaggy-haired Xavier became the stern-faced Professor X. “I would suggest by the end of the movie and the start of the next movie, it’ll be more like what Patrick does,” said McAvoy, adding, “Or maybe not. Maybe it will still be in a period of flux, if there is a new movie.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com . ‘Glee’ New Class: John Stamos, Charice And More

Chord Overstreet and Dot Jones are also ‘freshmen’ at McKinley High. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Chord Overstreet Photo: MTV News We all know who Rachel and Finn and Mr. Schue are, but when season two of “Glee” kicks off Tuesday (September 21), there will be a fresh crop of friendly faces to hang out in the halls of McKinley High. When MTV News attended the red-carpet premiere party for the show’s second season, we got a chance to know a few of those friendly, and sometimes familiar, faces. One of the newbies, Chord Overstreet, is not only a pal of Demi Lovato’s , but will certainly have fans of the show buzzing as Finn’s gridiron rival. Football is a sport known for hazing, so has Overstreet seen any of that happening on the “Glee” set? “I’m raw meat, fresh,” he joked. “There’s candles involved, a bunch of, like, Satanic rituals. Just some hazing, some general hazing. Little pranks here and there, nothing big, but I mean everybody was really welcoming when I came in.” Speaking of rivals, Dot Jones will be joining this season as Shannon Beiste, a foil for McKinley’s resident adult mean girl, Sue Sylvester, and the school’s new football coach. “Already off the bat, I’m going toe-to-toe with Jane Lynch’s character,” she said. “She’s one mean broad.” While Overstreet and Jones might not be too recognizable, fans may remember Charice from her multiple “Oprah” appearances . “I love all the cast. They actually really gave me a warm welcome when I was on the set,” she said. “I love my character. It’s really me. It’s very Charice.” Finally, it will certainly be a full house thanks to the addition of John Stamos as the new dentist in town — who also happens to be dating guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury. Eventually, the good doctor and Will Schuester are bound to butt heads. Until then, fans might want to know if Stamos will sing any of his signature Beach Boys songs. “In the ‘Rocky Horror Picture’ episode, I’m singing on that one, which is coming up soon,” he teased, adding, “I’ve been pitching [Beach Boys songs] like crazy, and they never respond.” Which new character are you most excited to see on “Glee”? Let us know in the comments!

WONDER WOMAN – gets her Goddess On !

Fan Art Exhibit – ( THIS is how the character should look. extra 2 bits,…sorry ) Wonder Woman Promo Published September 7, 2010 –Argh!! Finally found time to finish this. August is usually a bit of a quiet month but this year was insane, had no time whatsoever for personal projects. As a result this piece took far longer to complete than usual, I think I started it in June. What’s that you say? New model for WW! That’s right, I’ve been championing Jaimie Alexander for WW well before she was cast in Thor (can’t wait for that movie BTW) but could never find decent quality images, until now! (Sorry Cobie). Combined her with this perfect stock image I found for a WW pose. I actually started this before all the hoopla with the new WW costume in the comics, some aspects of which I liked so much I ‘borrowed’ them (hope you don’t mind Jim Lee, loved the belt to much not to use it). I’ll add some more video of the creation of this in the coming days, may take me a while to edit it down. more at LINK – – – http://fanartexhibit.wordpress.com/ http://fanartexhibit.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/wonder_woman_new.jpg added by: remanns
