Sure, Edward Cullen gets married in Breaking Dawn . And Bella Swan gives birth . But Taylor Lautner says this installment of the Twilight Saga highlights an especially interesting journey for his character of Jacob Black, telling our friends at Movie Fanatic that it was the most “challenging” film of the franchise to shoot. “Jacob becomes a man in this one and he has to make a lot decisions,” Lautner told Joel Amos. “He’s being torn between his two families. It was really tough.” Breaking Dawn TV Spot: Team Jacob! Lautner gives credit to director Bill Condon for helping him navigate the often-shirtless waters. “I trusted him completely, and it was really special,” the actor says of his bond with Condon. “And now seeing the movie, I’m really happy Jacob starts here and he ends here, and it’s just very exciting to see him in a completely different light than ever before.” Visit Movie Fanatic now and read a lot more from Lautner .
Charlize Theron is featured in the latest Vogue , talking to the magazine about her new movie and her love life and… some other stuff. We assume, at least. We were too busy remembering how wonderfully evil she looks as the queen in the Snow White and the Huntsman trailer , then staring at the actress’ gorgeous cover photo to pay much attention. You can’t really blame us, can you? Below, we’ve posted excerpts from Theron’s interview: On winning an Academy Awards : “It was life-changing – it opened a lot of doors. But it made people have a lot of opinions about what should happen next. You realize quickly that you can never please everybody.” On filming Young Adult : “I realized how much I love what I do. I really, really missed it. Like around week three, I had this horrible, sappy moment where I got a little overwhelmed. It was just a really great f-cking experience.” On her splitting with Stuart Townsend : “It was sinking, and I had to give it a fight. I really wanted to try and make it work. That was the priority. I wouldn’t do it any different way.”

Much has been made of British actor Henry Cavill ‘s abs in this week’s Immortals , or the strange, logic-defying Superman beard spied on the set of Man of Steel . Never mind that the 28-year-old actor turns in a persuasive dramatic performance in Tarsem ‘s stylized fantasy myth, playing the classic hero Theseus as an honorable peasant battling a sadistic god-hating tyrant (Mickey Rourke) with the aid of a comely priestess (Freida Pinto) and supernatural bow and arrows. But therein lies the surprise: Go to Immortals for the bloody action, or the mythological spin, or the wonderment of Tarsem’s visuals, and you’ll also get the pleasant revelation that Cavill wears leading man status like a natural.
Here’s what I’ve gathered from the new Snow White and the Huntsman trailer: Charlize Theron ‘s Evil Queen is pissed, Kristen Stewart ‘s Snow White is innocent, and the color saturation of this fairytale world looks like a Crayola-dappled Middle Earth. Pretty spectacular.
Does passing on peanuts really mean Kate Middleton is pregnant ? The pregnancy rumor mill began turning hard last week when the 29-year-old Duchess declined to sample peanut paste during a UNICEF visit to Denmark. Although Kate Middleton is not allergic to peanuts, pregnant women are often advised to avoid peanut products to prevent allergies in their babies-to-be. So … Naturally, coupled with the belly touching seen below, this sparked major royal baby speculation. But a royal insider says (shockingly) it may not be the case. “She’s not comfortable eating in front of cameras,” the insider said. “What if she didn’t like it and made a face? That expression would then be on every newspaper.” What a fair, valid and seemingly obvious explanation. No fun! A spokesman for the couple says that the policy is “to never confirm or deny [pregnancy] rumors,” but a palace insider insists: “If and when there is an announcement to make, officially, it will be made by the palace as soon as it’s safe to.” Long story short … don’t hold your breath for it anytime soon.
Kristen Stewart is about to give birth to a half-human/half-vampire baby whose very existence will have major ramifications across the globe. Then, she’s gonna kiss some ass. About six months after the November 18 release of Breaking Dawn , Stewart will take on the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman , which also stars Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and is a dark re-telling of that iconic children’s fairy tale. Based on the first official trailer for this June 2012 blockbuster, though, you may wanna leave the kids at home for it. Check out the special effects. The action sequences. The awesome, scary villain. Seriously, this movie looks fantastic… Snow White and the Huntsman Trailer
Kristen Stewart is ‘fairest of them all’ and kicking serious butt in new sneak peek. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart in “Snow White and The Huntsman” Photo: Universal With most of our Kristen Stewart focus zeroed in on a little movie called “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” which opens next week, she has an equally intriguing film coming down the pike this summer — “Snow White and the Huntsman” — the trailer for which was unveiled Thursday (November 10) by Apple . No matter what you might have been expecting, given Stewart’s comments about the film or production photos that were released, this trailer is a doozy and completely delivers on the intense, warrior-esque elements that have been teased. Here are our five favorite scenes: 1. Charlize Theron Kills It as the Evil Queen From the second you hear her eerily intense and foreboding voice, to the shots of her mindless murders, to the last shot of the trailer — in which she swoops her exquisite black cloak about her and it turns into a flock of crows — Theron delivers in every sense of the word. It’s going to be fun to watch her Queen and Stewart’s Snow White go toe-to-toe! 2. The Mirror on the Wall Most of us are familiar with the classic fairy tale upon which this film is based, and while the Mirror is indeed an important part of the story, it can come off a bit campy, depending on the visual effects used to design it. This mirror is just so cool/creepy! When summoned by the Queen via that famous phrase — “Mirror mirror, on wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” — the mirror seems to melt into a puddle of bronze liquid on the floor and then reshapes itself into a hooded, appropriately deep-voiced figure. 3. Stewart Looking Fierce and Kicking Butt We had a pretty good idea Stewart’s version of the “fairest of them all” would be different, based on the photo of her in fancy armor and holding a sword, and now, we have even more proof that Stewart’s Snow White is pretty badass. Never does she look innocent or weak, whether on the run, defending herself in armor or confronting a fearsome, growling beast. 4. Chris Hemsworth Is a Perfect Huntsman “Find me someone who doesn’t fear the dark forest to hunt her down,” the Queen commands, her voice heard over our first glimpse of Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, wielding an ax and fighting in the forest, which is followed by several other shots of Hemsworth in action, getting down and dirty in battle. It’s a perfect deviation from that pretty-boy Asgardian prince Thor, if we do say so ourselves. 5. Brief Glimpses of the Supporting Players Even though the title of the film is “Snow White and the Huntsman,” there are plenty more players in the mix of this fractured fairy tale. Specifically our brief glimpses of Prince Charming, played by “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” star Sam Claflin, who we see both in battle and leaning down to kiss Snow White. Then there are the eight dwarves. Eight, not seven, according to what Stewart revealed to Jay Leno recently, whom we only see for extremely brief moments in the trailer, first walking together, single-file, on the top of a rolling hill, then following behind the Huntsman.
