Witness Says He Saw Jerry Sandusky And Penn State Booster Sexual Abuse A witness interviewed by federal authorities in the widening Penn State investigation claims he saw Jerry Sandusky and one of the school’s prominent boosters sexually abusing boys on a private plane, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively. The witness was interviewed by the U.S. Postal Inspectors with the FBI present. RadarOnline.com broke the news that a new investigation into a pedophile ring is now being conducted by federal authorities. And while Postal Inspectors are also trying to determine if Sandusky shared pornography through the mail and sent seductive letters to his victims, the biggest bombshell is the allegation leveled by the witness who was interviewed within the past few weeks. That man, who has a strong tie to the booster he is accusing, says that Sandusky and the booster abused two boys on a private plane in Pennsylvania, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “The witness doesn’t know if the boys are victims who have already been identified or not,” the source told Radar. “He claims it happened on a private plane, with no pilot or crew around and that he was an eyewitness. “His claim is being taken seriously by investigators. They have already asked another man who is connected to one of the victims if he knew anything about this. And they are following up with other potential witnesses.” The “source” goes on to say: “This witness has some baggage,” the source said. “The Feds are going to need to corroborate what he says. But he is adamant that he is telling the truth. And that raises questions about why he didn’t report what he saw at the time. “Unfortunately he’s not the only person involved in this who didn’t do the right thing when they should have.” The child sexual abuse scandal destroyed the reputation and legacy of Penn State football head coach Joe Paterno, led to the conviction of former coach Sandusky on 45 sexual abuse charges and severe NCAA sanctions against the university. But the worst may be still ahead. “If the Feds can prove what this witness is saying then a sickening situation just got worse,” the source said. “The witness does not know who the boys are and if they were from Sandusky’s Second Mile charity. Actor Harry Belafonte Criticizes President Obama And African-American Celebrities For Lack Of Social Responsiblity Iconic actor Harry Belafonte is speaking out on what he feels is a lack of social and political activism among the “elite” members of the African-American community including Jay-Z, Beyonce and even the President himself. “The power in many societies has become almost absolute,” Belafonte told the Tinseltown industry outlet. “What we did during the Bush period, what we still continue to do, even with Barack Obama, is the continuency of not changing the paradigm, of not changing the view. We still have laws that encourage torture, we did not change Guantanamo, we have laws that allow the police to arrest you at any time, not having to tell you why, and take you wherever they want. This kind of capitalism is taking us to the doorstep of [a] Fourth Reich, I think.” Belafonte, along with entertainers such as Sidney Poitier and Josephine Baker, are part of an older guard of African-Americans in the public eye for whom it was as important to be politically active as it was to be wealthy and watched. Belafonte’s contributions to the Civil Rights Movement are numerous — including financially assisting Dr. Martin Luther King, who considered Belafonte to be a close confidante. He is dismayed that today’s African-American celebrities do not in his opinion reflect the same level of dedication. Belafonte even believes that at least one white star could teach black luminaries a thing or two about social awareness. “I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility,” he accused. “That goes for Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black.” Jay-Z has been vocal in his support of President Obama’s support of marriage equality. Beyoncé has also publicly endorsed Frank Ocean’s revelation that his first love was a man. Aside from these instances, it is difficult to name cases in which high-profile black celebrities have spoken out on political issues. We can name few more black celebs that have spoken out publicly about social and political issues but, does Mr. Belafonte have a point? When POTUS attacks… President Obama Goes After Mitt Romney, Calls Tax Policy “Romney Hood” President Obama, fresh off another monthly walloping in the fund-raising race, attacked his Republican adversary by giving him an unflattering nickname: “Romney Hood.” Obama, outraised in July by Mitt Romney and the Republicans for the third month in a row, blasted the GOP challenger’s tax policy, which the President said translated into taking resources from the poor to benefit the rich. “It’s like Robin Hood in reverse,” Obama told a crowd of about 500 supporters at a fund-raiser in Connecticut Monday night. “It’s Romney Hood!” A pool reporter covering the cash grab at the Stamford Marriott, where 500 “guests” paid $500 each, noted that the colorful description of Romney generated the largest applause of the evening. “The crowd laughed and roared and whistled its approval,” the reporter wrote. Obama’s economic broadside was drawn from a review of Romney’s tax plan performed by the Tax Policy Institute, a non-partisan operation. They found that Romney’s blueprint would most likely add $2,000 to the tax bill for middle-class earners, but spare six-figure sums from being included in those for the country’s most privileged. Mangold, 22, who competed in the women’s 75 kilogram-plus division, is one of growing number of women athletes speaking out at their frustration with the public scrutiny of their body size and image rather than their fitness and skills. At the 2012 Olympics, a list of top female athletes have hit back at critics who have called them fat including British heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis, Australian swimmer Liesel Jones, and the Brazilian women’s soccer team. British weightlifter Zoe Smith won fans when she hit back at attacks on Twitter saying she looked like a “lesbian” and a “bloke”, addressing her critics as “chauvinistic, pigheaded blokes who feel emasculated (as) we .. are stronger than them”. The Women’s Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF), a UK charity aiming to get more women into sport to build self-esteem and confidence, said only 12 percent of British girls at age 14 were doing enough exercise to meet recommended guidelines. WSFF Chief Executive Sue Tibballs said their research found negative body image was consistently cited as a barrier for girls participating in exercise as popular culture gave out the message it was more important to be thin than fit.
